of DJ Adonis. I’m so disappointed in this DJ truly and I would not recommend him AT ALL. To start, I asked to meet with the DJ through a phone call prior to the wedding, he never called. then when he finally did, he was kind of nasty on the phone and stated “I was told I needed to call you? I don’t know why I don’t really need to do this” I explained I wanted to just run through the list of songs that we’re going to be played at the wedding, which is a normal thing for a couple to do— meet with their DJ?????? I filled out the detailed google document and he still had it wrong. The boys were supposed to walk out to the instrumental version of a song and he played the wrong one. I then hired a well known saxophone player to come who also wanted to chat with him to go over some songs to collab on and he was rude and arrogant to him stating he doesn’t work with other people. I called Bobby and he handled the entire situation he actually came to my wedding which was absolutely amazing and made sure everything went smoothly. And it did while he was there…but along with the fact that he played horrible music all night long, he kept cutting the saxophone player off - he would be in the middle of a good riff and he’d change the song right on him. I requested one song and it was the only song that hyped any of my guests up lol he played multiple songs that’s cleared my dance floor. We’re from New Jersey I asked him on multiple occasions that we wanted club music Jersey music good MIXES he played NOTHING good. I feel like maybe he did this bc he didn’t like me from the jump bc I asked to meet with him and my he didn’t like my sax player? ( for 0 reason) and then to top it all off - the whole reason I wanted to meet with him bc I wanted certain songs to play at certain times and he ruined every single walk out song in the ceremony AND reception. So he ruined the entire day essentially. He’s rude and he’s arrogant and he sucks if you want me to be honest. Again, Bobby mondo is a sweetheart and I want to thank him for all he did and how he handled the entire situation bc he didn’t have to come and meet my dad I and it was so appreciated but I don’t think they should be hiring Adonis for future weddings. The DJs should be making the couples feel confident on their wedding day… not act too cool and too good for them.. he didn’t care about what I wanted for MY wedding — he did whatever HE wanted… it’s sad bc I’ve listened to my wedding playlist all year waiting for this day and picturing how everyone would walk out in ceremony and reception and he ruined every single moment. Played wrong versions, wrong times, fought w my father and our saxophone player who is a well known FRIEND to us… do not hire DJ Adonis or you’ll be truly disappointed.

ges and were none the wiser. When the Vows Ceremony began, it was immediately realized that the DJ hadn’t done a microphone 🎤 sound check…. The officiant’s mic was breaking up and cutting in and out. The wedding attendees from halfway back in the pews, couldn’t hear the ceremony…. I was livid. I even got up, steamed back to confront the issue and the DJ said the issue was fixed, but the problem continued until the end of the Vows Ceremony. When it came time to announce the Wedding Party and the New Bride and Groom, we all sat outside the Barn Doors waiting, in the cold, for over 15mins, while he was lost in space it seemed. I had asked the Venue Staff, if they had ever used this DJ and they where just besides themselves as well and prophetically said No! Before any of the speeches or prayers were given, I was, once again, assured that the glitches were addressed and cleared. Well, upon my welcoming Speach to all the attending family and friends, the Toys R Us bought, microphone was back at breaking in and out again. The remaining addresses were made not using the mic and simply shouted out verbally. This has bothered me since 29Dec.2023 til now, though I tried to let it go…, but there’s no reason that this should’ve happened! It should never happen again to anybody else’s Wedding or Special Event, it’s sad and uncalled for! Our daughters special time and moment in life has been smeared by the ineptitude abilities of just one man and it’s upsetting, so you better check, re-check and check again which lackey your production company is sending to your Special Engagement!!!

to hear some of the songs we requested, but all the music played was on track with what the crowd was feeling and the dance floor was packed the entire night. I would defiantly recommend and use this company again.

Matt was on top of every song request, detailed key moments and the entire day was ran perfectly and on point. The up lighting made the reception ballroom look incredibly elegant. Color was matched perfectly my daughter's color theme. Kenny, Bobby, Sue, are all very responsive and always available to answer any questions you may have. They work with you and deliver exactly what you want. We would highly recommend Kenny Mondo DJ's for your event entertainment.

le who were very afraid of COVID and wanted to stay outside, some people who wanted to throw down, some people who hardly liked dancing and wanted to talk, etc…. so it was important to us to have a DJ who could navigate the dynamics and be sensitive to it. I also was apprehensive, having been to many weddings where DJs go rogue and don’t do anything you ask them, and this was quite the opposite with Kenny Mondo, thank God! Their questionnaires are thorough, the team is super kind and responsive, and the work you do in advance doesn’t go to waste. Our DJ, Adonis, played pretty much everything we requested as the night allowed and somehow knew which ones were my favorite to get in there. He especially took care to use the dinner playlist I made which made my few quiet moments with my husband special. Adonis was very kind and accommodating with directions throughout the night. We had a very COVID-conscious crowd so he adjusted some of his DJ moments to make sure everyone felt comfortable and not forced into dancing. I appreciated the sensitivity Adonis brought to his work and how humble he was about making sure my husband and I were happy. Thank you, Adonis & Kenny Mondo team, for helping this nervous bride be at ease and have a good time at her own wedding. If you’re looking for DJs without egos, go for this company! And their prices are SO reasonable.

y options to choose from. I sent an inquiry in and within a couple of hours Kenny himself gave me a call to talk through what we were looking for. Based on the number of guests he mapped out a timeline for us as well. We of course wanted a photo booth because guests look forward to having photos to look back on, but the big hit was the caricature artists. Kenny coordinated two artists for us. They both had unique styles and all of our guests LOVED the unexpected activity. Not only did our guests have a great time because of the service offerings, but I couldn’t be happier with Kenny himself. He runs a top-notch company, is professional and responsive. Kudos to you! Thank you for making our wedding reception memorable for everyone!!

Our guests were on the dance floor most of the evening. He also was a wonderful MC controlling the flow of the party well. Once the reception started we didn't have to lift a finger, our only job was to have fun (and we did just that). Adonis surely made it a night we'll never forget.

He played all the songs we requested for each part of the wedding. He was very flexible and communicated with us throughout the entire night. He helped make sure the speeches went off perfectly, and his timing was impeccable. We had a list of “do not play” songs that we gave to him prior. Whenever a song on that list was requested, he made sure to check with us first. We trusted him so much that we eventually told him that he can have free reign to decide what our guests are dancing the most to, and to play whatever he thought was best! Our dance floor was packed the entire night. No one wanted the dance to end! He was by far the best DJ I have ever experienced at a wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend this company, and specifically Matt!
