Ken-Rose Catering

We celebrated our wedding at the Flagler Museum in November 2017 and we had the absolute pleasure to work with Ken-Rose Catering. Kevin and Rose are far more than caterers; they are simply wonderful human beings. We can honestly say that our big day would not have come together and been a success without Ken-Rose on our team. For the better part of a year, Kevin worked with us to craft a special menu that highlighted our personalities combined with their culinary expertise. He was very patient with us as we asked question after question and made a multitude of changes until we got it just right. The food was incredible! The cocktail hour passed hors-d'oeuvres were fun, diverse, PLENTIFUL, and delicious. The salad course was the best salad we have ever had. We would have been satisfied if the meal ended there, but then we were treated to our dual entree main course of short rib and salmon. And don't even get us started on the cake - FANTASTIC! It was so beautifully designed and tasted amazing! Everything was perfection - presentation, flavor, portion sizes - It could not have been better. Our guests were thrilled with the meal and we are still getting compliments on it. Beyond the superb attention to detail on the menu and food, Kevin was there for us to bounce ideas off of, give vendor recommendations, and offer advice when things got rocky in the wedding planning process. We really valued his help and support and could not have asked for a better experience. If we could have only one vendor to work with on any event, hands down it would be Ken-Rose Catering!

Ken-Rose was our caterer for our wedding at the Flagler Estate on August 5, 2017. Simply put, Ken and his team were beyond expectations from set-up, to cocktail hour to the seated reception .... great service, best filets the guests ever had... so tender you could cut them with a butter knife.... well managed open bar and fantastic late night snacks... cake pops and sliders....highly recommend this caterer ... on top of all of what they do Ken is easy to work with and honest. When I first started planning my wedding, I was a bit overwhelmed when I found out I would be bringing a catering team in myself. During my search, I found that many caterers weren't completely upfront with all of their charges and weren't so accommodating when it came to my vision. Enter Kevin! Kevin was great from the start, so kind and personable, and I loved how easy of a breakdown he made everything for me. And he helped me to create a menu that both my husband and I loved and knew our guests would love too. When it came time for the tasting, we were blown away. The food, attention to detail and element of fun was so wonderful. I knew my guests and I were in good hands. And sure enough, my wedding day a few weeks ago was amazing. Kevin especially took care of me and my husband (and my parents) making sure we had everything we needed all night. His staff was so efficient and great! And of course, his food was fantastic. Do yourself a favor and book Kevin and the Ken Rose team...I truly cannot say enough good things and they will not let you down!!

Now that i finally have a moment to reflect! I want to say Thank you to Ken Rose catering. You would not be disappointed with using them. I wanted something different, what bride doesn't these days! I wanted a venue that was unlike the rest , well of course this came with difficulty choosing a caterer that was able to understand the vision and the cooking space. When i spoke with Kevin he saw my vision, had previously worked at the Lake Pavilion, and knew exactly what it took to make this wedding a hit! He did exactly that. I could not thank him and his team enough for everything. The owner Kevin and his wife Rose were a joy to work with, very accommodating, and available at any time day or night! He not only helped me with coordinating the perfect menu but coordinated my whole wedding. He was there with me every step of the way from speaking to vendors, making sure that everything was going smoothly up until it hit midnight on the wedding day. Ken- Rose and his team are amazing and i recommend them to anyone. Whether your guest count starts low and somehow the whole guest list decides they want to attend and now you are way over your budgeted expectation, he is there to your rescue.
