With Kensington you communicate through a portal which is a bit indirect and services are not inexpensive (I was surprised by the cost but I never have professional makeup or hair services) but the outcome was as good as I could have hoped for from an experienced and talented artist. The hair and makeup work did not budge despite the heat of an outdoor wedding, happy tears, dancing, and long wear. Thank you for making me feel like a queen on my special day!

I picked this company for the price, use of airbrushing and lashes, and the very reasonable pricing. Communication for scheduling and invoices was thorough, and all saved on their portal. Natasha honestly was a huge help in SO many aspects leading up to my big day. She also asks very great questions that I hadn't even thought to ask! Her willingness to make your dream work, flexibility to you, and just overall good heart makes Kensington so EASY to work with. Sadly, my fiancé and I decided to cancel our wedding and I didn't get to undergo the service. But due to the treatment and generosity I was shown in the moments leading up to my big day, I am DEFINITELY gong to book Kensington when the time is right again. ear and the owner Natasha without even question scheduled me for another free trial. She called me right after and made sure I loved the hair and makeup artist and how I looked. I loved it so so much. I had 17 bridesmaids/family get hair and makeup done on my wedding day and that was no problem for Kensington! They sent 6 artists and every single one of my girls looked STUNNING. The best part is they are all trained for airbrush foundation and it looks incredible in pictures because it's very light and not cakey looking. I personally have never felt or looked prettier in my life. I love Kensington and I would highly recommend them especially because Natasha the owner is so fantastic and easy to work with!

less execution. My artist, Lidia, did such a great job and my make-up stayed perfect through all of the sweat and happy tears of the day. All of my bridal party were so happy with the work done on their hair and make-up. Highly recommend working with them!!!

I had 3 trials total, with the first 2 not being what I was looking for. Instead of giving me an "all or nothing" attitude, Natasha called and texted me personally to ask if we could do one last trial with a senior makeup artist. I am SO glad I allowed her to make things right, because my last makeup trial and my day of makeup was flawless. Nicole did my makeup and she knocked it out of the park. The only thing I will say is the hairstylists that showed up (we booked hair and makeup for the bridesmaids, then my personal hair person for me and the moms), the hair stylists that showed up were nice but only had basic style knowledge. They also wouldn't blow dry one of the girls hair (super short jaw length hair), stating they were hired to do the hair not blow dry it. It was a little awkward, but it was almost time for me to go out in my dress, so I let it roll off. The makeup Nicole did on the girls was PERFECTION though! Would definitely work with Natasha and Nicole again for makeup.

e day of the wedding, everything was well communicated and went smoothly. Megan did my trial and day of services. Lidia and Norma joined the team on my wedding day. All 3 were talented and terrific. They listened and provided direction when asked. They were friendly and efficient having enough time for touch ups and finishing ahead of schedule. Everyone was happy with how their wedding hair and makeup turned out. I would highly recommend Kensington for your hair and makeup needs!

everal complaints. On the day of my wedding she couldn’t remember certain hair tools or makeup shades that we had agreed on at the trial and asked me several times if I remembered (which I did not). This made me nervous that she did not remember what we used to create the look that I loved at the trial. My bridesmaids later told me that after I had left the room that she was very aggressive in asking them for tips, which made them feel uncomfortable. She was also unwilling to fix hair pins and various small things that they asked of her during their service. Overall, we were displeased with her curtness and inflexibility (especially for the price) and called Kensington to tell them our experience. Whoever we spoke to on the phone defended Diana and dismissed our negative experience. It was disappointing to see them miss an opportunity for service recovery and I will not be recommending this company to my friends or to my wedding planning company.

Covid. She responds to messages extremely quickly and is always looking for solutions for her brides. Megan made me feel so comfortable during the trial, and the day of she incorporated all the changes we talked about, and I had so many people comment on how gorgeous my hair and makeup was. Megan did the makeup for my bridesmaids and Jen P. did their hair- both ladies were great at giving the girls exactly what they were looking for, and they were efficient, professional, and so nice. I couldn't be happier with how beautifully it all turned out.

I was a little hesitant at one point because based on my wedding party size we were only having 1 girl come do all our hair and I didn't think there was enough time for us all but Clarice, my stylist, killed it and exceeded my expectations. Not only did she blow through getting all of our hair done on time (a little early too!) but everyone's hair looked AMAZING. I could not thank her enough for everything. I knew through my trial that she was great but the way she got through all of us so smoothly, and all looked so good was impressive. I highly recommend her if possible- she's the best. When I originally went in for my bridal trial, I wasn't super happy with how things turned out, but Natasha had me come back for a re-do trial, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. After that, I booked the team immediately and am so glad I did. The ladies that came for the day of, Diana (who I worked with for my trial) and Gabi, were at the getting ready site perfectly on time and ready to go. They were very professional and did an excellent job with every single lady. I can't say than you enough for making us all look so beautiful and keeping things on track!

Diana was our main artist, and she is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I have never received more compliments on my hair, and to be honest, I've never seen more amazing hair, if I do say so myself. Her partner for the day, Elyse did an excellent job with make-up as well. All the girls were glowing and confident, thanks to these two talented ladies.

ttle over 12 months prior to my wedding) because I was thinking about doing the trial during my engagement photos. Someone new mixed things up and then the artist was on her way to my venue on my date but one year earlier and even though it was resolved quickly and impacted their staff more than me, they had waived the fee of my trial. That was unbelievably kind. During my trial, the junior artist did not show me what she was doing as she was doing it which made it a little stressful considering I didn’t like the braid and she kindly redid it and my bridal shower was later in the day. I thought the make up was fine but wasn’t super impressed. On the day of my wedding, my junior artist had an emergency and the owner, Holli had came to do my hair and make up along with the second junior artist for my bridesmaids. I was so glad Natasha had Holli come so I wasn’t stressed and I was so grateful Holli could make it. Holli did the most beautiful make up!! To save time because only two artists come no matter how many girls pay for hair and make up unless you pay for additional artists on top of that, I got my hair done by the junior artist that did not do my trial. She was incredible as well! It is hit or miss with the junior artists but do not count them out! Both artists were amazing! The timing of everything was great!

felt beautiful and confident with their hair and makeup! Some claimed to have it better than when they got married! Plus we were an hour ahead of schedule!! Who does that?! I had the pleasure of meeting Holli, the owner, who did my hair and makeup and made my vision of what I wanted come true; it was timeless, beautiful, and “me.” She was easy going and knew what would look pretty. Personally, I searched far and wide for the right makeup artist that was affordable for my large party so when I discovered they had an academy to teach, to me it meant they also knew their craft. I worked with Natasha, who I corresponded with from the beginning to make scheduling easier. Her role is a bonus to keep everything organized! The artists were all professional, easy to work with, and punctual. I highly recommend Kensington Makeup for any bride- they are amazing at what they do!
