I knew how important our photos would be from the start, but didn't realize how important our photographer would also be on the day of the wedding and Kent exceeded every expectation I didn't even realize I had. I had so many guests commented on how amazing he was; capturing every moment and person and making you feel great in the process. During every shot, Kent made sure everything was setup just right; fluffing my dress, fixing my hair, telling me to move just an inch, paying attention to every detail for every shot, but also making it easy and fun. We got all the shots we wanted, but because Kent is so great at what he does, able to get it done quickly and have fun while doing it. I assumed wedding pictures would be easy because I married my best friend and we've taken 1000 pictures together; but it's different on your wedding day, your dressed differently and taking hundreds of photos while wanting to spend time with those you love most; and making sure you have a photographer who gets that and who can get the perfect shot, makes the day that much easier and better, and that's exactly what you'll get with Kent. His detail shots are also amazing; something that was really important to me, you don't get to see everything on your wedding day, so this was really important to me and something I knew Kent did flawlessly. He's so fun and easy to work with. My husband and I completely trusted Kent and I'm so glad we did; we had 1 location we wanted to stop at but asked him to pick the other and the shots are breathtaking; if you're looking for a photographer you're excited to meet with, who will take the most beautiful photos, make you feel comfortable and confident on your big day and make sure you (and anything else he touches) looks just right, you can't go wrong with Kent.. he's so talented, so kind, and you will be so so happy you are working with Kent Drake.

He executed every photo request we asked for and we are over the moon at how all the photos turned out. Kent takes unbelievably gorgeous portraits and decor shots but he also has the ability to capture every special, hilarious, memorable moment of the weekend perfectly! I really cant describe how much we love Kent! Kent became like another best friend at the wedding and is now a friend for life! When my now husband and I were meeting with potential photographers, we wanted to find someone with whom both of us just “clicked.” We knew Kent would take beautiful photos, but after chatting with him and laughing over drinks, we knew he “got” us and would be the perfect person to capture our wedding. Before the wedding, we met with Kent in person twice to ensure that we were aligned on our vision. Kent was also promptly responsive to all of our questions and notes on everything from the contract, albums, potential photo locations, etc. I know that we likely (definitely) weren’t the easiest clients, and Kent remained patient, accommodating and enthusiastic. On the day of the wedding, I probably spent more time with Kent than I did with my future husband, and he made me feel comfortable, special, and like I was hanging out with a good friend. I didn’t need to worry once that he was capturing all of the portraits, little details, and candid moments that were so important to us. At one point during the reception, we were about to take moonlit photos outside, and Kent first checked in with our DJ to ensure we didn’t miss any of our “must play” songs. It’s this thoughtfulness and attention to detail that just sets him apart. After the wedding, Kent provided us with a USB drive and link to an online gallery that we could share with family and friends. We had fun designing our album, and Kent put together a stunning layout that perfectly tells our wedding story. Kent’s commitment to exceptional client service, his clear artistic talent, his respect for the personal significance of our wedding, and his appreciation of our unique style and personalities made it an absolute joy to work with him. We will treasure the photos and memories forever.

We got so many compliments on our photographer. Not only is his talent extraordinary, but the only vibe he gives off is completely happy and relaxed. You can tell he is having a blast photographing your big day and the pictures that came out of it were more than we could hope for. My husband and I keep trying to pick our favorites and we can't! They're all so perfect.
I loved that Kent posted a sneak peak at our photos so soon after our wedding on Facebook and Instagram. It was so fun to peak at 20 or so photos and know that there were 100s of that caliber to come!
We are terrible at posed pictures, but somehow Kent was able to get gorgeous pictures of us. He made us feel so comfortable and happy that all of the pictures, even posed ones, look so natural.
