Kentlands Mansion

e space doesn't need a lot of decorations. The outdoor ceremony area is lovely as well. It was perfect for our 70 guests, too many more would have been crowded. The rental price was very reasonable as well. We have so many wonderful memories at the Mansion now and will be back for community activities that are hosted there as well.

One of the best parts was how reasonably priced everything was, especially considering the level of service and the stunning setting. We truly felt like we got great value for our money. d weather, we had to move the ceremony indoors, and it was easily managed and the room worked so well. It is extremely reasonably priced, in a pretty area with plenty of parking, with a lovely room for the bride/couple and has nice flow. I am so glad we found it and highly recommend it.

us great advice on everything from table seating to a Plan B if it rained. The venue itself is beautiful and has great space (we had a designated bar area, dining room was used for buffet style dinner service, Yellow room was set-up with tables, and the music room we used as our dance room where the DJ set up. It really was a perfect place and we'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to Antonia and her team.

ir conditioning . It was stifling hot upstairs said the bridal party . I was downstairs coordinating set up and decorations , so I did not hear about this until later . I did request a cooler temperature at one point to Anna , but did not feel much of a difference. Everything was set up by the time we arrived at 1pm so that was great! There was some food left in the refrigerator - that I was told would be removed . I just don’t like to touch other people’s stuff, but Sara said the fruit , cakes n creamers were staff stuff that could not be removed. We moved it all to one corner at the top so it was not a problem. Again - fabulous venue . Everyone was super nice and helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an intimate wedding location . We had close to 60 guests and fit nicely with 8 per table . I would not recommend for any party larger than 70. We received numerous compliments from our wedding guests on how lovely and perfect the day was. The dressing rooms upstairs were helpful but the vanity and mirror area way too small for the bride and her 3 attendants . All but final touches should be done elsewhere.

and simple to decorate. Because of rain, we had to move the wedding indoors at the last minute and it looked great and the move was smooth and easy. It is a terrific value for the cost, and I highly recommend it.

other's honor there. Kentlands was wonderful on all fronts. The staff were helpful, responsive and easy to work with. Catering ended up much less expensive and easy to coordinate. The space was plenty big for our maximum capacity crowd, even though it was a damp and chilly day so we didn't use the outside areas (we opted for an Open House format for the event, so people could come and go over the course of several hours). Everyone remarked what a lovely setting it was, and how much our mother would have loved to be there.

We had a large wedding party and around 100 guests and everyone had plenty of room to mingle and hang out. There is artwork all over the walls too, super nice!

A special thanks goes out to Antonia who worked with us in the weeks leading up to our wedding to work out the placement of chairs and tables and the day-of to ensure we kept to our planned timeline and that vendor deliveries arrived on time. The weather was sunny and cool, which allowed us to use the side of the mansion for our ceremony, which had plenty of space for guests and featured a lovely fountain at the front. The mansion's grounds are made beautiful by the lush greenery and flowers that they have planted, and the inside features a rotating collection of artwork from local artists. We also liked that we were able to open up the side of the porch to let the cool evening breeze into the dining and dance area.

an outdoor ceremony. We visited countless places, but none had att the attributes of Kentlands. One of our priorities was the outdoors ceremony, bridal suite, and the price. We wanted to keep it within budget and we were able. Plus we had all that was important to us. I could not recommend more!! We had our rehearsal there, on the last walkthrough the staff were super patient and nice to us. We asked lots of questions and we were able to have our wedding just as we planned. We are so happy that we had the chance to perform our ceremony and reception at Kentlands. If you are looking for a place that is beautiful, comfortable and perfect, stay with Kentlands Mansion :)

pful throughout the whole event. It offers a plenty of parking spaces for guests. Our wedding was supposed to be outside, but it was 50s on the memorial day weekend. No problem as we had the whole inside of the mansion to ourselves for the ceremony, small refreshment and pictures.

lands Mansion. From the beginning, Lisa’s enthusiasm about the space during the tour sold my fiancé and I on the location. While we were originally hoping for 50, with the continued Montgomery County Restrictions we knew that wouldn’t be possible. Lisa reached out regularly with updates and when we found out we could have a small gathering of 25 on our original date, we jumped at the opportunity. Lisa helped coordinate all details, offering advice on everything from catering options to place settings. On the day of, Melissa and Antonia were amazing! They listened as I hastily asked their assistance in setting up and they even made sure my wedding photos highlighted key backdrops at the mansion. The staff at Kentlands is fantastic and I would gladly have an event there again. (Just not during a pandemic).

and groom's special day was just as they envisioned. The day of the wedding it was sprinkling and the staff of Kentland's Mansion was up to the uncertainty of having the ceremony outside or inside. With the well kept grounds the wedding pictures are breathtaking. The new couple even got away for a few minutes to take pictures by the lake. We highly recommend this venue. First class all the way!!

lthough we stayed indoors, there is a beautiful front lawn as well as a quaint side garden. The staff is courteous and a pleasure to work with. Everything went smoothly for the day-of. I'm sure 'the Mansion' would be perfect for any event in your wedding celebration and otherwise (bridal shower; engagement party; ceremony, reception, birthday parties, etc.) This place is definitely a must-see!!!

There was a mix up with our catering and Meghan and Melissa stepped up to make sure that it was straightened out; I (the bride) didn't find out about the situation until after the ceremony and there was already a solution in place. I can't say enough good things about the staff and the venue. Highly, Highly, Highly recommend to anyone looking for a historical wedding/event venue.

The neighborhood the mansion is located in is picturesque and quiet; there is a lake nearby which really set the mood for our special event. We had our ceremony on the front lawn with enough seating for 80 people and there was plenty more room to add more chairs if needed. We keep the decorations simple since the mansion provides a lovely backdrop. They also rotate local artwork which added a nice touch. Besides it being a beautiful location, the staff was lovely to work with. They are very responsive and excellent at providing support with finding local caterers and assistance with developing a schedule for the day of the event. The mansion’s wedding coordinator (Terry) was super helpful through the days leading to the event and on wedding day. My fiancé and I were so tired on wedding day that we forgot to bring our vows! Terry saved the day and quickly printed us a copy. She was a pleasure to have around and made everything go smoothly. Thank you so much Terry and the entire Kentlands Mansion Staff! All our guests had a nice time and we could not be more pleased with how our early August wedding day turned out.

was the perfect venue. When my now-husband and I visited the venue, we couldn't believe how amazing it was. We loved the beautiful outdoor areas and the unique rooms inside the home. With the rental, you have access the the entire house which was perfect for getting ready before the ceremony. The staff was extremely accommodating and responded to all emails and phone calls promptly. When we had to move the wedding date up several months due to my husband's deployment, the staff was more than willing to help us find a new date and make sure that everything worked out for us. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect. The staff worked hard to make sure everything ran smoothly and the venue was beyond beautiful with an outdoor ceremony and the indoor reception! I'm so grateful that we chose to get married at Kentlands and make all of our wedding dreams come true!

I also enjoyed the fact that when speeches were made there was no need for a microphone. I was able to talk and the acoustics of the room for perfect to speak to everyone. The staff was very helpful in ensuring that I had everything I needed and offered to assist in anything I needed. I felt like had personal attention and that I just wasn't some other bride.
