Kentlands Mansion

We had a wonderful wedding at the Kentlands Mansion! The space is beautiful and the staff and Antonia were so kind to us throughout planning and during the day of the wedding. We even hosted our rehearsal dinner the night before at the venue! It is a beautiful place and we were actually able to take some wonderful shots in the gardens behind the property as well. Highly recommend!

We chose Kentlands for its proximity to our home and its beauty as a historic mansion! I did research on many historic houses in the area and myself and my husband both really loved this location. We're very happy with how our wedding day turned out, and we had a great experience working with venue staff. I highly recommend Kentlands for a small/medium sized event. It was perfect for our small wedding.

Beautifully prepared and professional. Staff willing to be on hand for any accommodations. I'm so happy to have chosen Kentlands Mansion for my special event. With all the vendors and moving parts, staff made sure to check in and help with any accommodations or needed items to make sure my event runs smoothly. When our mother passed away, our father mentioned he'd been to a lovely Celebration of Life at Kentlands Mansion, so we checked it out, and decided to hold a similar event in our mother's honor there. Kentlands was wonderful on all fronts. The staff were helpful, responsive and easy to work with. Catering ended up much less expensive and easy to coordinate. The space was plenty big for our maximum capacity crowd, even though it was a damp and chilly day so we didn't use the outside areas (we opted for an Open House format for the event, so people could come and go over the course of several hours). Everyone remarked what a lovely setting it was, and how much our mother would have loved to be there.

Everything was amazing. Venue is lovely and at a great price! Team is professional, extremely helpful, and responsive. They worked well with our caterer, and together, they made having a wonderful event (bar mitzvah) easy.

Our wedding was at Kentlands Mansion in February and it was absolutely perfect. We had about 70 people and the size was exactly correct. The layout is really conducive for non traditional wedding seating that promotes interaction and their sound system was great. The catering kitchen was awesome and the banquet/dining area was perfect for a brunch style buffet set up.

Kentlands Mansion was the perfect backdrop for a perfect day. They were easy to keep in touch with, very flexible, and incredibly kind. We couldn't be happier with our wedding celebration, and their support made it all the more special.

The Kentlands Mansion is an amazing wedding venue, and the team was an absolute pleasure to work with!! Meghan and Antonia were such joys, and they really went out of their way to make my wedding phenomenal. Awesome historical venue in the middle of a very beautiful waterfront area. My partner and I took advantage of that with some of our wedding party photos! The Mansion staff were always extremely helpful and their familiarity with working with different vendors made it easy to DIY our wedding. The Mansion itself has plenty of space for changing and prepping on the day of. We had a large wedding party and around 100 guests and everyone had plenty of room to mingle and hang out. There is artwork all over the walls too, super nice!

We had such a wonderful time at our wedding at the Kentlands Mansion. The ceremony and reception, which were both held on the mansion's grounds, went off without a hitch thanks in large part to the attentive Kentlands Mansion's staff. A special thanks goes out to Antonia who worked with us in the weeks leading up to our wedding to work out the placement of chairs and tables and the day-of to ensure we kept to our planned timeline and that vendor deliveries arrived on time. The weather was sunny and cool, which allowed us to use the side of the mansion for our ceremony, which had plenty of space for guests and featured a lovely fountain at the front. The mansion's grounds are made beautiful by the lush greenery and flowers that they have planted, and the inside features a rotating collection of artwork from local artists. We also liked that we were able to open up the side of the porch to let the cool evening breeze into the dining and dance area.

Our wedding was so wonderful!! Kentlands has beautiful scenery, is comfortable and we could not have chosen it better. We wanted to get married at the beginning of Summer and have an outdoor ceremony. We visited countless places, but none had att the attributes of Kentlands. One of our priorities was the outdoors ceremony, bridal suite, and the price. We wanted to keep it within budget and we were able. Plus we had all that was important to us. I could not recommend more!! We had our rehearsal there, on the last walkthrough the staff were super patient and nice to us. We asked lots of questions and we were able to have our wedding just as we planned. We are so happy that we had the chance to perform our ceremony and reception at Kentlands. If you are looking for a place that is beautiful, comfortable and perfect, stay with Kentlands Mansion :)

Kentlands Mansion is a gem nestled in the beautiful Kentlands neighborhood. The team there is responsive, helpful and kind. Their flexibility in vendor selection and booking is second to none! I always recommend this place to my couples who are looking for a unique venue with charm and a wonderful support team to help their big day dreams come true!

Kentlands was the perfect place for our micro wedding during pandemic. It offers beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces with different timeframe options. Staffs were friendly and helpful throughout the whole event. It offers a plenty of parking spaces for guests. Our wedding was supposed to be outside, but it was 50s on the memorial day weekend. No problem as we had the whole inside of the mansion to ourselves for the ceremony, small refreshment and pictures.

When planning a wedding during a pandemic, you need people who will keep you calm and focused throughout the process, and that’s just what I got when I had my micro-wedding at Kentlands Mansion. From the beginning, Lisa’s enthusiasm about the space during the tour sold my fiancé and I on the location. While we were originally hoping for 50, with the continued Montgomery County Restrictions we knew that wouldn’t be possible. Lisa reached out regularly with updates and when we found out we could have a small gathering of 25 on our original date, we jumped at the opportunity. Lisa helped coordinate all details, offering advice on everything from catering options to place settings. On the day of, Melissa and Antonia were amazing! They listened as I hastily asked their assistance in setting up and they even made sure my wedding photos highlighted key backdrops at the mansion. The staff at Kentlands is fantastic and I would gladly have an event there again. (Just not during a pandemic).

I had my graduation party at Kentlands Mansion. It was the perfect venue for a summer celebration. Guests were able to play lawn games outside. Inside we used the various rooms to setup food displays, photo booth and even a fortune teller. Highly recommend for any social gathering!

From start to finish the experience was fabulous. We hosted the wedding for our niece that lives out of town. Everyone at Kentland's Mansion worked with us to make sure the bride and groom's special day was just as they envisioned. The day of the wedding it was sprinkling and the staff of Kentland's Mansion was up to the uncertainty of having the ceremony outside or inside. With the well kept grounds the wedding pictures are breathtaking. The new couple even got away for a few minutes to take pictures by the lake. We highly recommend this venue. First class all the way!!

An amazing venue in Montgomery County. The beautiful grounds and incredible reception rooms were perfect for our celebration. Staff were wonderful!

I hosted my bridal shower here in this beautiful venue. The guests were in awe of the space! It's a unique venue with different rooms you may utilize in whatever way you see fit. Although we stayed indoors, there is a beautiful front lawn as well as a quaint side garden. The staff is courteous and a pleasure to work with. Everything went smoothly for the day-of. I'm sure 'the Mansion' would be perfect for any event in your wedding celebration and otherwise (bridal shower; engagement party; ceremony, reception, birthday parties, etc.) This place is definitely a must-see!!!

The staff at Kentlands Mansion is beyond amazing. Lisa worked with us during the planning stages and was incredibly responsive to all of our many questions. We toured the venue multiple times so that we could show it off to family members visiting from out of town and the staff was so accommodating. On the day of our wedding the staff went above and beyond for us. There was a mix up with our catering and Meghan and Melissa stepped up to make sure that it was straightened out; I (the bride) didn't find out about the situation until after the ceremony and there was already a solution in place. I can't say enough good things about the staff and the venue. Highly, Highly, Highly recommend to anyone looking for a historical wedding/event venue.

We had an amazing wedding here at the Kentlands and we're so thankful for the help and guidance staff provided while planning and then during the event! The mansion itself is also beautiful and our guests were very happy!

The staff at this beautiful, unique venue took great care of us! Our family and friends enjoyed the look and atmosphere of the mansion. It is charming but not over the top. This is a wonderful setting for a smaller wedding. It is reasonably priced and you can use the caterer of your choice.

This place was exact;y what we were looking for. It is very charming and perfect for the wedding ceremony. We were a little sad that we could not do it outside due to the rain, but the staff quickly moved everything inside and we still had a really beautiful wedding ceremony. My new husband and I hosted an open house here upon returning from our honeymoon. Lisa could not have been more pleasant to work with or more helpful. Everything ran seamlessly. The space and community and beautiful, and the mini social price was very affordable. The mansion is an excellent spot for small- to medium-sized gatherings; we highly recommend it!

Teresa was wonderful! Very responsive and always answered all my questions and emails right away. The Kentlands was a beautiful venue for small wedding with a mix of a 1940s/Gatsby-esque theme. Overall it was beautiful! Beautiful mansion for a wonderful price and attentive staff.

Kentlands Mansion is a fantastic property with motivated and caring staff. We couldn't ask for anything more from a wedding venue! We had ZERO issues with the property or staff.

Finding a venue for our wedding was the most stressful part of our planning process. We looked all over the DC area for a location with both outdoor and indoor spaces that would photograph well with minimal decorations and would be within our budget. The neighborhood the mansion is located in is picturesque and quiet; there is a lake nearby which really set the mood for our special event. We had our ceremony on the front lawn with enough seating for 80 people and there was plenty more room to add more chairs if needed. We keep the decorations simple since the mansion provides a lovely backdrop. They also rotate local artwork which added a nice touch. Besides it being a beautiful location, the staff was lovely to work with. They are very responsive and excellent at providing support with finding local caterers and assistance with developing a schedule for the day of the event. The mansion’s wedding coordinator (Terry) was super helpful through the days leading to the event and on wedding day. My fiancé and I were so tired on wedding day that we forgot to bring our vows! Terry saved the day and quickly printed us a copy. She was a pleasure to have around and made everything go smoothly. Thank you so much Terry and the entire Kentlands Mansion Staff! All our guests had a nice time and we could not be more pleased with how our early August wedding day turned out.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding day! It was beautiful, intimate, and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was stress-free and seamless.

I began my wedding planning while I was several states away and had to rely on internet searches to begin wedding planning. Once I found information on Kentlands, I knew that this was the perfect venue. When my now-husband and I visited the venue, we couldn't believe how amazing it was. We loved the beautiful outdoor areas and the unique rooms inside the home. With the rental, you have access the the entire house which was perfect for getting ready before the ceremony. The staff was extremely accommodating and responded to all emails and phone calls promptly. When we had to move the wedding date up several months due to my husband's deployment, the staff was more than willing to help us find a new date and make sure that everything worked out for us. The day of our wedding was absolutely perfect. The staff worked hard to make sure everything ran smoothly and the venue was beyond beautiful with an outdoor ceremony and the indoor reception! I'm so grateful that we chose to get married at Kentlands and make all of our wedding dreams come true!

I held my rehearsal dinner at Kentlands Mansion on November 8th, 2012. It is a beautiful, intimate and romantic venue for me to thank all the important family and friends that helped us get our wedding day. There is a dinner room to display food and a separate area for guests to get their drinks. I liked that option because it didn't allow a pile up in one area. I also enjoyed the fact that when speeches were made there was no need for a microphone. I was able to talk and the acoustics of the room for perfect to speak to everyone. The staff was very helpful in ensuring that I had everything I needed and offered to assist in anything I needed. I felt like had personal attention and that I just wasn't some other bride.

The space was beautiful and romantic, but a bit small for 130 people. We couldn't have everyone eat in the same room, which made it difficult to have speeches. Also, no red wine is allowed...

The Kentlands Mansion was the perfect place for our wedding. We were able to keep the wedding intimate (max capacity for a sit down wedding is 110), the staff there was willing to work with us to make the day exactly how we wanted it and on the day of the wedding, they were on site to help out with making sure it went smoothly.

My husband and I were married at the Kentlands Mansion in June of 2010. Right from the start the mansion staff made the planning process a dream! Kristy, the mansion director, gave us wonderful suggestions for our photographer, caterer, and DJ. The mansion is not only beautiful on the inside, but is gorgeous on the outside as well. It's the perfect place for any event. We had about 100 guests and the mansion helped make our wedding the intimate affair we envisioned. Sabine, the weekend manager, made sure the venue was set-up exactly as we had requested. She was adaptable to last minute change and worked behind the scenes to make our entire evening a complete success and I was able to enjoy myself as well! The ambiance of the mansion impressed all of our guests and they are still talking about it even after the event.
