I met the love of my life while attending Southern Adventist University, and together we're raising three amazing kids. Life in our home is rarely quiet, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. When I'm not officiating weddings, you can usually find me soaking up family time—coaching baseball, hitting the golf course with my boys, or proudly attending ballet recitals for our daughter. I also enjoy unwinding in my woodshop, where I craft handmade pens, coffee scoops, and other one-of-a-kind pieces with the same care and attention to detail I bring to every ceremony. Over the years, what started as a personal calling has grown into a passionate, purpose-driven career. I've dedicated myself to understanding the wedding industry, not just to stay current, but to better serve couples like you. I spent 10 years, from 2015 to 2025, serving full-time in ministry as a pastor, with the privilege of officiating at several weddings along the way. I earned my undergraduate degree in ministry from Central Christian College of the Bible and later completed a master’s degree in leadership from Western Governors University. I’ve been married to my wonderful wife, Michelle, for 11 years, and together, we have four incredible daughters. Outside of ministry, I love all things sports and music. Over the past several years, I’ve found it deeply meaningful to play an honored role in weddings, serving each couple at the highest level and helping craft a unique, unforgettable ceremony. I take the time to get to know your story so that your wedding day truly reflects who you are and the love you share.

Even though we didn't know Elden personally before our wedding, the ceremony he created felt incredibly personal and meaningful. It truly seemed like he knew us and our relationship so well.
Having a professional officiant made such a difference. He thought of every little detail, like stepping aside for our first kiss so our photos turned out beautifully, guiding us through the rehearsal, and making sure everything ran smoothly on the big day.
One of the biggest bonuses was that he handled all of the marriage license paperwork after the wedding. That meant we could head off on our honeymoon without worrying about the logistics of finalizing our marriage. It made the transition into married life so much easier!

Elden was the best minister for our wedding journey. We interviewed quite a few and while they were all nice, most of them planned to show up day of, lead the ceremony, and leave....
We wanted our officiant to be someone who didn’t feel like a complete stranger during one of the most important moments of our lives.
Elden did a video call with us for the consult, he sent us organized documents to fill out about our relationship so he could get to know us better and write the speech based on us, he sent us a list of readings and asked our preferences for the ceremony flow. Everything was as hands on as you wanted it to be and we could tell Elden was invested in our wedding day and marriage- not just showing up for the check.
He also gave great tips for the marriage license and made sure we had it in hand rehearsal night. He worked well with our coordinator and DJ and made everything as seamless as possible for us.
He also showed up for the rehearsal and stayed longer to practice after our coordinator had left. It was so sweet, he timed my music to make sure I felt comfortable walking down the aisle - the part I was most nervous about!
After the wedding he sent keepsakes and checked in to make sure we had received our marriage certificate.
Overall, this was one of the best decisions we could make on such an important day. We’re so thankful for Elden and the energy he put into the start of our marriage.

We met with him over zoom to get acquainted and filled out a questionnaire he crafted to make sure the ceremony would be personalized. He sent us his script a few days before and made any changes we asked for. Additionally, when we explained we aren’t religious, he was more than happy to accommodate. We liked Elden from the start, we’re both very introverted, and he made us feel very comfortable. He was very kind and made a lot of jokes that made the rehearsal go smoothly, and ...
he was wonderful on our big day! He also moves to the side for your big kiss which doesn’t sound like too big of a deal, but a lot of ministers, priests, rabbis, and so on, don’t move and it’s really nice for picture time!
I would definitely recommend Elden for anyone getting married in the Kentuckiana/Louisville area!! ❤️

Minister Ford was amazing! He was very understanding of what we wanted in a ceremony and was able to make sure our ceremony fit our needs. My husband and I aren’t overly religious ...
and he was able to make our ceremony fit exactly for us with some tradition without being overly religious. He was on time, dress appropriately without clashing with the grooms men, and was always wearing a smile. He even filed our marriage license for us and dropped it in our mailbox during our honeymoon. I can’t say enough how great he was - you will be more than happy if you choose to go with him. Side note: his rates are really affordable and he works with you to make sure payment isn’t the most important thing overall. So happy we chose him!

verything would flow well and fit what my husband and I had envisioned for our wedding. He arrived early for our rehearsal, made sure everything was ready to go with our wedding coordinator and our DJ, and really put my mind at ease that the day of would go off without a hitch!
