Leading up to the big day, we had a meeting with Matt where he took the time to truly understand our vision. We had so many questions and worries, but he eased every single one with his experience and expertise. We used KY Pro DJ for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and each moment was executed flawlessly. Ceremony: Every song was cued perfectly, and Matt's seamless transitions made the entire process feel so smooth and natural. Cocktail Hour: We weren’t quite sure what we wanted, but Matt went above and beyond, sending us a few playlist options to choose from. His suggestions were spot on, and we ended up going with one of his fun, upbeat lists that set the perfect tone. Reception: We gave Matt a list of “vibes” and five absolute “must-plays,” and he nailed it. The dance floor was packed all night long, and the energy never dipped for a second! His ability to read the crowd and keep the momentum going was unmatched—he truly set the tone for an incredible night. One of the biggest highlights of our entire wedding day was seeing our friends and family of all ages on the dance floor, laughing, singing, and dancing together with so much joy. It was everything we dreamed of, and we owe so much of that to Matt and KY Pro DJ. We are beyond grateful for his talent, professionalism, and passion for making each event special. ted to sound was thought of and it was clear the team has the planning portion down to a science.   Weeks before the wedding, we ran into trouble with the church we were getting married in. The day the coordinator retired abruptly leaving a temporary replacement who didn't have much sound experience. I mentioned these concerns to Jason and his response was "consider it handled." With 2 weeks notice he seamlessly coordinated bringing all his own sound in and truly handled it for us.  The reception was perfect.The overall "flow" and feeling of the reception was the most important aspect in planning to me. My biggest concern with a DJ was having someone just play one song after another without any transition from one to the next or the songs going for too long without a switch to the next. Jason and his team did not miss. The cocktail hour vibes were perfect, the timing and toasts went off perfectly and the dance floor never stopped. The transition between songs was done so well and they perfectly captured our desire to hear as many of our favorite songs as possible!  Their process start to finish is professional and the product exceeds expectations. I would highly recommend the KY Pro DJ team!

communication with the company was great from the beginning. Shelby spoke to us over the phone to get to know us a bit as a couple and discuss our vision for the day. They are so easy to communicate with, were always very professional, and made sure we had a DJ that meshed well with us. Our wedding reception was an absolute BLAST! Our DJ Russ knew exactly what to play to keep our guests up on their feet dancing. I remember I kept telling him throughout the night how perfect the songs were that he was playing. We had given him a small list of things we didn’t want played and discussed what types of music we liked. He took if from there and completely knocked it out of the park. We had so much fun we didn’t want the night to end! Russ definitely exceeded our expectations. He was so easy to talk to and made sure my wedding party was as comfortable as they could be while giving speeches in front of everyone. He did such a great job of playing music that represented both of our cultures/backgrounds and was able to play music that really appealed to the wide range of ages we had in attendance. We loved getting to work with him and highly recommend!

There were also plenty of things we didn't have specific preferences for and in our meetings they provided suggestions and even the day of helped us quickly make a couple last minute decisions/changes and it went so smoothly! We loved working with KY Pro DJ from start to finish (also, Adam deserves an award for all he did for our day). We were only hesitant because of the price but it was worth every penny (and more), I'd 110% hire them again and not waste our time interviewing anyone else. We recently mentioned having an anniversary party and rattled off a handful of vendors we'd want to make sure we could book again and KY Pro DJ was on the list! Definitely A MUST HAVE for your fun and party needs.

They were so great to work with, incredibly receptive, and very on top of gathering all the details of the big day to ensure we were well taken care of! Their services were truly fantastic. We had so many people complement how fun our reception was, and we truly believe that the DJ and music choices had a lot to do with that! From the very beginning of the music, most of the crowd was on the dance floor which is exactly what we wanted. They paid close attention to our song requests and made and effort to play music that was important to us as a couple, but that also kept our guests up and on their feet! To anyone considering working with Kentucky Pro DJ, this is a rockstar vendor team and an excellent crew to work with. They will walk you through what they will be doing for the big day and they make excellent MC’s. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding reception, and this group made it all possible!
