Hey there! I'm Kenzie, I’m the main photographer and owner of Kenzie Rae Photography. I can’t really remember the moment I decided I wanted to be a photographer… but I think it was when I was about 5 years old. All I remember is having this hot pink Barbie branded Polaroid camera that I carried with me almost everywhere we went. I took photos of my pets, family & even held photoshoots for all my dolls… from there I progressed into point & shoot digital cameras (still hot pink) & received my first DSLR camera at the age of 13. Even then I never really thought it would be my career, it was just something I really loved doing. Fast forward to now, I still really enjoy photography and it’s still CRAZY to me that I make a living off doing something I enjoy & something that brings so much joy to my clients as well as their families & friends. I truly never feel like I am working & for that I am truly blessed.
I currently live in sunny New Smyrna Beach, Florida, though I offer services nationwide. My favorite thing about living in Florida is all the beautiful locations we have to use year round… oh and that sunshine! Your girl loves good lighting.

le time; she was very knowledgeable about the area (Banff), and made our day very special! It was everything we wanted for our small Elopment. She got our sneak peeks the very next morning and is currently working on getting us more of our wedding day photos. From the sneak peeks alone, we can tell the quality is amazing. She was able to get every angle, and we truley did not notice her as she snuck around.

meeting. She said she was sick, which, to be fair, happens to all of us, but it was our first red flag. We entered into a contract with Kenzie and set a date for our engagement photos, on May 30th, 2025. We were promised to receive all of our pictures within a month of the shoot. As of today, March 10th, 2026, we have still not received all of the photos from our engagement shoot. We received our sneak peek, and that was it. Kenzie completely ghosted us after the engagement shoot and has never responded to numerous text, email, phone call, or Instagram messages. We can see that she’s been active on Instagram, so we know that she’s still been getting business and is still working. I want to make clear, in no uncertain terms, that my wife and I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional and is so poor at communicating. I would leave zero stars if I could because we never received all that we paid for. I would urge anyone who’s looking for a photographer to look literally anywhere else.
While we did eventually receive our wedding video and most of the promised files (though never the USB drive), our experience with Kenzie Rae Photography was deeply disappointing.

Our wedding took place in early December, and we didn’t receive our footage until May; far beyond the contracted delivery date and only after many unreturned messages. During this time, she remained active on social media and continued posting other clients’ work, without offering us so much as an update. That silence made the lack of communication feel personal rather than circumstantial.
Even after she finally replied and gave us a new delivery date, that date passed without follow-up. We had to reach out again to receive a YouTube link to our footage.
On the wedding day itself, camera issues caused extensive delays, which led to missed photo opportunities for our photographer. Only one videographer attended, though our agreement was two.
Although we paid a discounted rate as she was building her portfolio, it felt like we were treated as a practice project rather than paying clients deserving of professionalism and respect.
When the WeTransfer link she provided wouldn’t work on our PCs, we tried multiple times to arrange for the promised USB drive, offering to pick it up ourselves or send prepaid postage, but those messages were ignored and remain unanswered. We ultimately had to spend $70 on an external hard drive just to access our footage.
This experience caused a great deal of unnecessary stress. It felt as though our wedding simply wasn’t a priority. We truly hope future clients have a better experience, but we personally would not recommend Kenzie Rae Photography for videography services.

all of our wedding party complimented her on organization, professionalism and ability to let loose on the dance floor. The night before the wedding we had a tropical storm blow through, we were running late and the power went off in the church during the ceremony, but nothing phased her and her assistant. While my fiancé and I broke down laughing at the power loss along with our guests, she was getting great shots. I’m a big Star Wars fan and Kenzie made a point of getting some special shots, and she killed it capturing our lightsaber arch. I haven’t seen all of the photos yet, but the massive sample batch already nearly had me in tears remembering the day. I can’t recommend her enough.

t shoot, we had our dogs with us. We forgot to bring treats for them, but Kenzie had some already in her car! (This helped their poses lol) She allowed us to take her to the middle of no where, almost an hour away from her location, to shoot just what we wanted. Her little tricks to get us to really react to each other are priceless. She took the pressure off of us and we had a blast shooting with her!
For our wedding, she captured all of the moments that I really wanted. Not only are her pictures beautiful, she works well with others. Let me tell you, she had to deal with two stubborn and loud families that day and she KILLED IT! Now, I've only seen the sneak peaks from our wedding (it was shot 3 days ago) but from what I can tell, they are PERFECT!) In the case of our wedding she knew exactly what she needed to do for best results and didn’t need any guidance or assistance from us, which made the day so stress free which is exactly what you want on your wedding day.
Unlike some other photographers, she will do things like prompting you with questions or actions to get natural reactions in those potentially awkward posed shots, and always really goes an extra mile to get the great photos you want.
We have been surprised every time by how excellent she has been with capturing our love on camera and documenting our special moments and I would absolutely recommend hiring her. Plus, she’s always up for a destination wedding so location is never an issue. She’s a pro and I’ll definitely be recommeding her to friends and hiring her myself for other events.
