We absolutely loved this venue! In the planning process I think we came across five venues we were considering, but they just didn't compare. This venue worked well with our budget...
but that doesn't mean you are sacrificing quality! You honestly have options because the museum has different areas you can book that range in price. We chose to get married outside the Chapel which provided such a great backdrop for the outdoor ceremony. This also right next to our reception area which was the Neon Courtyard and WOW is it magical at night! A plus from this area is that it has its own bathrooms so the guests don't have to walk far. A SUPER PLUS of this venue is their wonderful director Brenna, she really helped us organize everything so perfectly for the wedding and she was always willing to answer my random questions promptly so you know I was not stressed at all. She is just all around amazing! I usually don't leave comments for places but this venue really was everything we could have ever imagined!
Loved this venue. We got married at the gazebo and we absolutely loved it! I wanted a Pinterest inspired wedding and this venue was perfect for it!
This location was fun for an outdoor event. Great view of the museum, and the guest could walk around and see the museum. The staff was helpful and it was reasonably priced compare...
d to other venues in the area. They even set up the chairs and tables. You just leave the museum how you found it.
Outside hometown venue... beautiful trees and a good sense since i married in my hometown. A lot of history and the scenary was breathtaking. Lovely.
We loved the chapel and the Chamber of Commerce Hall for our wedding ceremony and reception. Marked down on quality because the bathrooms (which we were not shown when we were look...
ing at the location because they were ... locked?) for the reception are not in the building and are kind of scuzzy.
The employees are very sweet and eager to help, although the information given is sometimes not accurate. They also misspelled my last name on the signs that they posted for the wedding - so double check that if it is something that is important to you. Can't beat the price!
Although the wedding turned out beautifully and the location was amazing, the staff at the KCM was horrible. They were rude and unorganized and caused the majority of my stress. Th...
e last thing a bride wants is to be lied to or not told of a fee until 3 days before the wedding. I left message after message and never received calls back only to find out that they did not check my messages because the supervisor was off work and they did not have her password. Very unprofessional when brides who have spent thousands of dollars with them had an upcoming wedding. Again, the location was beautiful but due to the inefficient staff, I was overcharged, argued with, mistreated and overall a dissatisfied customer. They need to fire their wedding staff and hire people that actually enjoy weddings and care about making the wedding day the most amazing day.
I grew up going there. It is an outside setting with huge oak trees and a beautiful gabezo.
