Kevin Bain is an ideal officiator. We were at the wedding of dear friends in Chelsea in October 2017. The service was splendid! Kevin is as thoughtful and caring in his duty as one would ever wish. We recently got married by Kevin Bain and our wedding was a total success not only because our friends and family were present, but because of the ceremony itself. 
Through his creative writing, Kevin wrote our ceremony with class, elegance, humor and heart felt emotions. Kevin officiated our wedding on September 23rd and he did a wonderful job. Our initial meeting with him wasn't just a token 30 minute meeting and here's my terms. He spent a lot of time talking with us, getting to know our story a bit, showing us some of his prior work and telling us a lot about him, as well. From there, once the contract was signed, he sent a questionnaire for the two of us to fill out, which was used to create the ceremony. Since my wife and I were not having a religious ceremony and didn't have any special family ritual, Kevin helped us to find a ritual for our ceremony that worked for the two of us. He was always responsive via email and listened to our concerns. Come the wedding day, Kevin showed up early, met our families and put them at ease by making them laugh. We rehearsed, but he kept the details of the parents ceremony we chose as our ritual a secret. Our ceremony turned out wonderful. Kevin's performance of it had some people in tears. We received so much praise about how beautiful and personal our ceremony was. We highly recommend Kevin if you want a ceremony that is truly you.

The first time we met Kevin was 30 minutes before our ceremony. We felt like we knew him because of his extreme attentiveness before the wedding. 6 months before the wedding starts he already begins his work creating a completely personalized experience. People were blown away by our wedding everything from the food to the singer to the venue, but the thing that received the most compliments was Kevin. Getting married can be extremely stressful particularly 3 minutes before you walk out. Kevin put us all at ease. He organized everyone like a master. Several family members were sure Kevin was a friend of ours because his speech was so heartfelt. He looks great, sounds great and fits the part perfectly, a real class act. Our experience began with a suggestion from a friend who had recently gotten married, and after countless hours brainstorming how to have the ceremony we were dreaming of. Kevin interviewed us in person, then sent a very invasive interview (both for us to do together, and separatley) and then crafted the most beautiful story to present as our ceremony. When we recieved the draft we both cried, and nothing needed to be changed for the big day! We were very happy with Kevin’s ceremony. It was sweet and intimate and told our guests how we fell in love. It was fun and really enjoyable working with Kevin as he created our ceremony. He was always available to talk and answer our questions. He gave us wonderful suggestions about rituals & readings and he always let us decide what was right for us. Together we created “our” perfect ceremony. He took a very stressful part of our wedding planning and removed the stress, letting us enjoy this experience. Where to start.. Kevin has been amazing. He married us on July 1st 2017 . From researching officiants online about 7 months ago. As we are from the UK I couldn't meet anyone before hand . So I messaged kevin and from his first reply I knew I wanted him to be our officant. Throughout the 6 months kevin helped me with pretty much every step of our trio to new york. Kevin officiated our wedding on July 2, 2017. He was absolutely phenomenal. From our first meeting which extended to about 2 hours of getting to know each other, we knew not to look any further and that Kevin was a perfect match for us and our wedding. Kevin was extremely responsive over email for the year leading up to our wedding and we had ample time to prepare for the ceremony script. He arrived early on the day of the ceremony and, without surprise, was calm, composed, genuine, and heartfelt during our ceremony. He really made our ceremony the highlight of the wedding. He had our guests crying and laughing, and during the ceremony he would whisper to my husband and me, making sure that we were doing okay during the ceremony. It made such a huge difference to have Kevin up at the altar standing with us. It felt like an old friend was there to guide us. Kevin is truly a gem, and my husband and I cannot thank him enough for such a beautiful, touching ceremony full of love, laughter, and emotion. Thank you a million times over again, Kevin!!!

Delightful! Kevin Bain officiated at my son and daughter in law's wedding July 2/17 at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, NYC. The ceremony was so beautiful with a very well thought out and enthusiastically delivered personal love story of our children.Our guests felt a connection as Kevin spoke to us all in an inclusive style while focusing on Chris and B's life/love journey and vows.We were so thankful to have someone who truly cared for our children and I feel like I have found a heartfelt friend in Kevin.Highly recommend him! Where have the last 40 years go? We felt it was time to renew our vows. Our love has grown over the years. It was a very emotional time for us as we wanted to re-exchange our vows in front of our children and grandchildren and a few precious friends. But who would Officiate for us? After copious research we finally decided on Kevin Bain. His reviews thrilled us and a friend had seen him perform a wedding ceremony which as they put it was magical! He was perfect, wonderful. He took the time to really listen to us and understand what we wanted. He suggested lovely ideas to include our kids. We were so pleased with Kevin in every way. It was truly as if a cherished friend performed the ceremony. We can't thank Kevin enough or recommend him enough. Kevin is beyond wonderful. He personalizes the ceremony through a questionnaire he has both the bride and groom fill out and is super responsive to all questions. He truly loves what he does and his excitement is infectious. When I attend weddings, I usually find the ceremony to be the most boring part and too long. Not with Kevin, however. A few people have told me that the ceremony was the best part of the whole wedding, to my delight. I highly recommend him.

I didn't have to look very far or for very long to find our wedding officiant. When planning our wedding, we waited until the last moment to choose our Officiant. We had no idea what we wanted for our ceremony. We wanted something different, something unique. I attended a wedding on 6/10/17 at the Conservatory Gardens in Central Park of very special friends. I was mesmerized by the Officiants ceremony. Kevin Bain created a ceremony so beautiful, so sweet, so romantic telling Mary & Michael's love story to their guests. His humor & his ability to hold each & every guest in the palm of his hand was enthralling. A few tears & many cheers erupted as he enraptured the guests with the tale of Michael & Mary. It was the very first time I was actually happy to be at a wedding ceremony & not anxiously wishing it were over. I wanted to hear more!
