We love to take wedding photos because we know they will become part of your family history, creating a visual narrative that you can enjoy today and that will be cherished and viewed for many years to come. We take a documentary approach to wedding photography, creating heirloom photos that preserve not only how you look on your wedding day, but also how you feel -- the joy, the love and the deep emotion that occurs when family and friends across the generations gather to celebrate one of life's greatest treasures -- the love between two people and the promise of their joyful life together.
We like to tailor or pricing and services to the specific needs of each couple, because every wedding is different and the photos should reflect your distinct personalities. The first step in the process is for us to meet or talk at some length about your vision for the day so that we can get to know each other and so that we can begin to prepare. We also visit the venue in advance, to get a sense of space and lighting requirements and scout some special spots for wedding day portraits. We often offer some suggestions, based on our experience, that may help you as you plan the day and assure that we don't miss a shot or a moment that is important to the story of the day.
Every photo that we take is backed up on two storage drives, for maximum protection. Once your wedding day is complete it takes us three to four weeks to professionally edit the hundreds of photos from the day. We then provide you with all of the edited, high-resolution digital images on a website gallery that is easy to view and share. The photos can be downloaded directly from the gallery, and we are happy to provide them on a flash drive as well so that you have multiple digital copies. You own all of the edited photos, with no restrictions whatsoever on their use.
Our pricing is designed for simplicity; once we have determined your specific needs and the services that you request, we offer a single price that includes all expenses, including travel, sales tax, etc.

Kevin was amazing throughout the entire wedding process. He did a great job at capturing both candid and posed photos, and was super relaxed. He also did a great job about advocating for the photos without taking away from the day. He also had ALL of our pictures back to us less than a month after our wedding. If you are looking for a photographer, he is the one! I would hire him again and again!

Kevin was an incredible photographer for our wedding - the pictures were better than we could have imagined. We particularly loved how he was able to capture emption and the story of the day. He was gracious to come visit the venue with us the day before to discuss where and what we wanted pictures of. He was professional and responsive from our first interaction onward. We highly recommend working with Kevin - he's the best!

From the moment we reached out to Kevin, he did a fantastic job. He was incredibly communicative, put in a lot of effort to learn about us and our style before the wedding, spent his own time checking out the venue ahead of time, and did an absolutely amazing job of capturing our perfect day for us. All of the photos that were taken are amazing quality, and Kevin showed how thoughtful and professional he is. If you are considering him as your wedding photographer, my advice would be that you absolutely should choose him!

Kevin (and Tasha) photographed our wedding in Manchester, VT this summer and they were absolutely phenomenal in every respect! Kevin is one of the kindest people you'll encounter, he's an extremely talented photographer with a keen eye, and he genuinely cared about getting to know us as a couple and listened intently to our wishes. It unfortunately rained on our wedding day and we weren't able to have many of the outdoor photos we had hoped to, but that didn't stop Kevin from making the magic happen. He was out in the rain getting wet for much of the day with an umbrella in one hand and his camera in the other... and was somehow able to make the rain an amazing feature of our photos, adding some romance and drama to the shots! We absolutely love our photos and are so glad we got to know, work with, and be around Kevin and Tasha on our big day--I have no doubts you will too!

Kevin was such an amazing person and photographer to capture our wedding weekend. He went above and beyond in spending time with us leading up to the wedding (including making the 4-hour roundtrip drive to tour our venues with us so that he could envision the best places to take planned photos!) to ensure he knew what we wanted captured as well as the schedule for the day so that we wouldn't miss any key moments. He brought an eye for storytelling and made great recommendations to us, resulting in photos that we would otherwise not have thought about or had. We are still looking at all the beautiful photos he and his wife captured for us months later and SO happy to have these lifelong memories of the best weekend of our lives. Beyond the amazing final product, he was always a kind, thoughtful, trusting person who we absolutely loved getting to know personally (quite helpful to have when capturing those intimate moments). We have nothing but great things to say about our experience with Kevin! Right after our first phone call with him, we knew he was going to be exactly what we wanted. He really cared about learning our story and remembering the little details we planned for our special day so he could capture all the right moments. We had an outdoor wedding in Waitsfield, VT and he met with us a few weeks before at the site of the ceremony to get a sense of the surroundings and the lighting. We went over the schedule of the day and it helped us feel like we had a great handle on how things would pan out. On the day, he was very professional and patient. He seemed to fit right in with our small group of guests. He took all of the portraits we asked for, on top of the beautiful candid photos of the day. We also only had to wait three weeks before he sent over an album of his edited photos and we were so happy with the results. Kevin is just a really nice guy and we could tell he really took everything we wanted to heart. He is extremely professional and produces great work, at a very affordable rate, I might add! He has a knack for storytelling with his photos and that is just perfect for wedding photos. We really hit the jackpot with hiring Kevin to be our wedding photographer and we would recommend him to anyone in the VT area!

We couldn't imagine our photos coming out more stunning! From the very begging Kevin was very quick and helpful to communicate with. He knew of a bunch of locations around the Sugarbush Resort to capture gorgeous photos, not to mention he was more than willing to freeze to capture these beautiful moments for us. We got a collection of photos for social media the next day, and received the rest within three weeks, this turnaround time is unheard of! He is very experienced which made for such high quality photos. Additionally, we could not have asked for a more reasonable price. Highly highly recommend hiring him for any event!

Kevin was amazing to work with! We were originally a 2020 couple and Kevin was very easy and gracious to work with adjusting our date. He did a beautiful job capturing the day, from the small details to the portraits to the party. He listened to our ideas and styles, and gave great recommendations for how to get the most out of our photography. We would highly recommend him to any couple who wants beautiful wedding pictures but doesn’t want to spend the whole day posing or being whisked away for more shots.

Kevin is amazing to work with in every way. Our wedding date was set just before Covid turned the world upside down, but through it all Kevin was so kind, flexible, and understanding. On the day of the wedding, everything felt very natural. I wasn't a crazy bride with lists of poses, anyway, but Kevin's presence never felt pushy; it felt like he was part of the family and I didn't once worry about him getting "the right" shots. He was kind and thoughtful and had great ideas about where to shoot after the ceremony. And best of all, the results! Amazing! Even better than I could have imagined and we're all totally obsessed with the results! Work with Kevin. You won't regret it!

We were so lucky to have Kevin on our wedding day!!! He was so kind, patient, and adaptable before, during and after the ceremony as we were changing our plans. The photos are incredibly beautiful! He captured every single moment, detail and feeling. Kevin made us feel comfortable all the time. Big part of our family couldn’t attend due to COVID-19 but now they have all those pictures to feel like they were present. We loved having Kevin part of our wedding day! He made sure he got all of the photos we requested and more. When the New England weather didn't cooperate with our plan, he was quick and adaptable to a change of plans. I love how the pictures came out. My favorites are the pictures he captured of our guests. I also really appreciate his natural, easy going style. (I am terrible in a picture where the photographer is trying to get me to move my head 3.6* to the left and crook my arm. I'm so awkward! ) My mother just keeps raving every time she goes through the photos. He was professional and did a fantastic job.

My daughter moved her wedding date up by seven months and decided that she wanted a more intimate wedding in a remote location. I forgot to mention it was three days before Christmas! We moved quickly and we were able to find a lovely inn with availability. After rooms and dining plans were determined, we set out to find a photographer. Thankfully, we found Kevin Goddard! He was already booked that day, but he cheerfully said he would be willing to be our photographer. He arrived early and was ready to assist in any way. He was committed, patient and professional. After the wedding as promised, he sent the photos to us for our review and we were very satisfied with his work. I would highly recommend him and I am certainly pleased that we found him. It was a Christmas gift!

We got extremely lucky to have Kevin as our photographer! From our very first contact with him, it was clear that he is passionate about his work, professional, skilled, and really wanted to make sure that he documented the day in a way that would best capture our memories and make it unique to us. He was super thoughtful in asking our priorities, in helping us anticipate and identify what kind of shots and what kind of a feel we might want, and in helping us think through logistics. He went above and beyond multiple times to ensure that he was aware of all our needs, was able to meet them, and was able to deliver us a truly wonderful experience and product. But he also let us be US and didn't try to manufacture anything that we weren't genuinely putting out there. We continue to get rave, rave reviews from family and friends with whom we shared his photos. He came across as someone who truly cares about providing a high-quality experience for us. Also, his pricing is fantastic. (And he is awesome at communication!) At the end of the day, a wedding only lasts for a matter of hours, and after that, the images are what help keep the memories! I can't recommend Kevin strongly enough.

Fantastic! Words cannot do the skill, kindness, and overall experience you get with Kevin Goodard Photography. We did not have a videographer, but the pictures tell such a story it was like we did! My husband HATES having his photo taken, but they were able to put him at ease and by the end of the night he was a pro! My husband even allowed photos the day after from camera phones, they boosted his confidence and made him feel so comfortable.
Me, on the other hand, love to have my photo taken and they took some beautiful shots (if I do say so myself).
I live in Albany, NY and when I show people my photos they think I hired a celebrity photographer from the city.
The photos and the photographers are amazing and I could not imagine having anyone else capture our special day. 50 years from now, I will always remember who took the shot and how it turned out. Thank you for letting me relive my wedding every time I look at the photos.
