The deck is lacking adequate lighting at night for a dinner. Laura and her husband provided us the service of hanging extra lighting which made my rehearsal dinner perfect. We were thrilled to be able to share their amazing food and service with our family and close friends on such a memorable day. There are so many things to love about the Conch House. The fact that they are family owned and operated makes them stand out from all the other restaurants. When we met the Dreavers we weren’t treated like ordinary customers. We felt like we were part of their family. They cared about our day as if it was their own. When it came to our special day they made sure all our wedding dreams were brought to reality. Laura, Justin and the whole family are exceptionally accommodating. From the moment we chose from their amazing menu and the months leading up to our wedding they were always available when we needed them. Their ability to maintain constant communication with both myself and my husband was astounding. The customer service we received was undeniably the best. The Conch House offers affordable packages that work perfectly for any size wedding no matter how grand or intimate the setting. They are extremely flexible and can help you find what works best with your party. There are a variety of menu options for either sit down dinners or banquet style. The package we chose worked perfectly for our 70 guests. It included handcrafted decorations for the ceremony, table linens from a variety of many colors and styles, tables and chairs for the ceremony and dinner, a tent with charming chandeliers. It also included our wedding cake, beer, wine, and specialty drinks. Our wedding menu was enjoyed by every single one of our guests. We chose 2 appetizers, conch fritters, and Jamaican Jerk Chicken Strips. The conch fritters were a hit and the juicy Jamaican jerk chicken was delicious. For dinner, we started with a crisp Caesar salad and fresh baked dinner rolls. For the main course we had Mahi Mahi and NY strip. The Mahi Mahi was fresh and mouthwatering. The tender, NY Strip was perfectly portioned and melted in your mouth. As sides we had so many options. There were fresh veggies, homemade mashed potatoes and a tasty wild rice. All were served in huge, piping hot, portions! We were pleased to see our guests go back for seconds and we still had so much food leftover. Our wedding cake was a delicious and beautiful work of art. The white frosty icing, moist yellow cake, and sinfully, sweet, fudge filling was to die for. The service and staff were absolutely outstanding. Laura Dreaver was my, “go to gal”, in making the impossible, possible! Justin Dreaver was a sweetheart and a master at time management and communicating with everyone from our DJ to our pyrotechnician.
