e secluded celebration. The inside of the Conference Center is nothing fancy, but it is nothing to scoff at either. You can rent the whole building for less than half the cost of other places in the area, and that gives you access to a main dining/dance hall, bar area, kitchen, and two office rooms we used for changing/hair prep rooms. You have to set up and tear down almost everything yourself, but you can take almost ANY liberty when it comes to decoration. We had open flame candles on the mantle in front of the dance floor and tacks all over holding up strands of garland and framed signage. All the other venues we looked at were double the cost with none of the liberties we were able to take with this location. Even though it is a “Conference Center” it does not feel like one. We received so many compliments from guests who said the location was better than any country club wedding they attended. Most people described it as a very rustic feel with plenty of space and a gorgeous autumn view. Which is also great for pictures! And I cannot stress this point enough: The Conference Center let us bring in ANY caterer and ANY outside alcohol as long as you have the proper event insurance. This allowed us to have a fantastic bar filled with beer and liquor that we stocked ourselves, so we could take it all home at the end of the night! For an extra $75 we also rented the Seargent’s Grove for our ceremony: a small pavilion covered patio area right next to the Conference Center where we held our ceremony. You can comfortably seat 120 under the pavilion which offers sun and rain protection. Absolutely perfect. Dan, was perfectly accommodating and responsive to all our questions. Overall, a fantastic DIY wedding experience.

dressed up easily. It was also nice to have access to the entire building including the reception hall, bar area, foyer, porch... Provides a lot of room for guests to mingle. The lady we worked with from the facility for booking and questions was not overly friendly or the most helpful, but overall we had a great experience!

ndiantown Gap. If you are familiar with the area you know it is beautiful! Besides the catering company we chose and the maintenance tech who remains onsite for the duration of the event (in case of questions and/or emergencies) our wedding party and guests are totally secluded making for a very intimate celebration!
