xplained what was really happening that day. Regarding the vehicle, we wanted to move it hours before the wedding. Unfortunately, there was rain all afternoon, and no tent had been provided to us despite the contract clearly stating that a tent was required for any outdoor setup. Our vehicle was nearby because we had the equipment and all ready to go hours beforehand, and waiting underneath the table until a tent arrived...but then the rain got so hard, we were afraid the equipment would get wet on the bottom portion touching the grass. So we put it all back in the vehicle and we were trying to wait out the rain or be told that the ceremony would occur under the large party tent instead. I thought that a final decision was going to be made by 2:45, but the tent did not arrive until almost 3:20, and we were to begin playing at 3:30. We were told that the outdoors was still a go, so we set up the tent quickly when it finally arrived, and got all the equipment set up quickly as well, and got the music started. We were eager and anxious to move the vehicle anyway, but the officiant also wanted mic'd up at the same time, and we were trying to cram everything into 5 minutes when normally we would have an hour to do it all. It wasn't really anyone's fault; the rain just wasn't cooperating that day and made it a challenging situation. I'm not sure who said we couldn't find our keys; that may have been a misunderstanding. The keys were simply with my belongings at the big tent, and I had to run back over to grab them (every time I tried, I was asked another question...so my assistant eventually went over and got them for me). So it was really not an issue. We just got squeezed by the circumstances. Regarding the First Dance song, we did play the correct artist and title; we simply didn't realize that that particular song even HAD an alternate version. I am sorry for the mix-up! We have acoustic versions of literally hundreds of songs, but it was the first time I had ever realized that YOUR chosen song had an acoustic version...and I had never been asked for that one before. Nevertheless, once we realized the error, we quickly got online, obtained your desired version in mere seconds, and saved the moment for you, so that you could still enjoy your dance. The two of you actually looked adorable dancing to the other one, before you finally told me it wasn't even the right one! So you were able to enjoy two First Dances, which was actually pretty cool! :) We normally always have the correct version, because the app makes it foolproof, but I had programmed it into my DJ playlist on my computer, and the regular version is all that came up in the database; I had no idea it was not the right one. But I will take final responsibility for that oversight, even though I had no idea. Regarding the wireless mic, we were happy to provide that for you, and you sounded fabulous! You have a bright star shining over you!! Congratulations on your marriage; I wish the two of you much happiness and success!!!

u that day. As a longstanding member of the Knot community, we pride ourselves on delivering superior service and making every client feel very special. I am sorry if you feel that we were not responsive enough to you in any way; I always responded quickly to you, whenever I got a communication, and I was always very honest and transparent with you at all times. We try to never take more than 24 hours to answer an email. We always tell clients, "if you don't hear back in 24 hours, send it again...because we must have missed it"...or you would ALWAYS have heard back from us right away. In reality, I answer most clients within the HOUR, if I am not swamped on the phone at the time. I review my emails SEVERAL times a day, sometimes a few times per hour. And if I see a message come across my phone, I respond immediately! We may be very busy while in the midst of wedding season...that is a fact...but I assure you that I ALWAYS made you a priority, as our numerous correspondences repeatedly point to. I simply cannot be on every call at once, though, so I do have to try and budget my time as effectively as possible. (Some calls do end up going over a bit, and I try my best to minimize that, in order to accommodate everyone. But I am sure it was nothing even close to two hours, unless we agreed on a later time.) Some days we just get "drowned", particularly on Mondays and Tuesdays, and if you feel you experienced any of that, at any point, I do apologize. I assure you that we are not the only vendors being overwhelmed on certain days, and we do everything we can to minimize the wait for our clients...and schedule a time for them that is all their own. Regarding the events of your wedding day, I have calls out to both DJ's, asking to talk with them, and I also have a phone call planned with the venue, to see if they can provide me with any more insight as to what items were not according to plan...and if any details possibly differed from what we actually had been provided on our timeline. I am so sorry for any mix-ups that may have occurred. And I will reach out again after I have talked with all of them, to see how we can make this right for you.
