I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Khaki Bedford Photography. My husband and I appreciated the time and consideration taken into getting to know us and what we wanted on our wedding day. We worked with Jonica, who took the photos for both our engagement shoot and our wedding day; all of the photos were beautifully shot and we cannot stop looking at them! Both Khaki and Jonica were super sweet and responsive from the beginning. Thank you, ladies!

We hired Jonica from Khaki Bedford Photography to photograph our wedding, and we are beyond thrilled with the results! From the start, both Jonica and Khaki took the time to really get to know us as a couple and understand our vision for the day. They asked thoughtful questions to ensure they captured everything that was most important to us, which made the whole process feel very personalized. Jonica’s calm and friendly demeanor made us feel so at ease during our portrait session — it was like having a friend there with us rather than just a photographer. She was incredibly patient, helping us feel natural and relaxed in front of the camera, which made a huge difference in the quality of the photos. Khaki was equally wonderful in making sure the day flowed smoothly. She helped us establish a clear timeline and set expectations for each part of the day, which really helped alleviate any stress. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and they worked seamlessly together to capture the big moments as well as the small, intimate ones that we will treasure forever. We are so grateful for the stunning photos we now have to look back on, and we truly feel lucky to have had Jonica and Khaki be a part of our special day. We can't recommend them enough!

We worked with Khaki + Stefanie to do our summer engagement shoot and our winter Greenpoint Loft wedding and it was absolutely amazing. Khaki has a knack for making people feel comfortable and truly pulling out the best, genuine pictures. She was extremely organized and communicative, and did not stress at all even when we had 30 different combinations of family on our shot list. Stefanie’s presence was very calming - she was not aggressively filming people on the dance floor to the point where they felt awkward even dancing, but rather blended in with the crowd. Our guests didn’t even know we had video - which helped catch truly genuine moments of celebration! We would 100% INSIST you work with this dynamic duo! We also would say - if you’re at all nervous about professional photography/feel anxious about having your picture taken - try to swing for the engagement shoot! It helps to get comfortable with the photographer for wedding day and also see what certain poses/shots/angles you like!!

From the planning process, to coördinating with other vendors, to working with us throughout the big day, Khaki's empathetic and patient professionalism made everything a breeze. The photos are stunning and she made us and our guests look like celebrities. Cannot recommend Khaki enough.

I was very lucky to work with Khaki for both my city hall ceremony and for my wedding celebration. She is extremely personable, professional, and of course- talented! Khaki had us very feeling very at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. We felt that she really understood the vibe we were going for and did such an amazing job capturing our personalities. Khaki is also fast to respond over email, on time, and she returns her work in a neat and user friendly album. Couldn't recommend her enough and hope to work with her again someday!

We absolutely LOVED working with Khaki for our wedding. We got married at The Wythe in February 2023. When we were researching wedding photographers, Khaki's style immediately stood out, and it was clear that she was the right choice after speaking with her over the phone. Khaki helped answer all of our questions and had thoughtful recommendations for the timeline of the day. Working with her was a dream! She made us both feel so comfortable, and the entire day felt effortless and calm. Our friends and family loved her too! When we received our wedding photos, we were blown away by how timeless and unique the photos were. Khaki completely understood us and our personal style! We especially loved the combination of casual, candid photos walking around Brooklyn and the more intimate behind the scenes shots of the small details throughout the day. Highly highly recommend hiring Khaki to capture your day!!

We are so happy we hired Khaki for our wedding. She's professional and great to work with. We got married close to home, so there were a couple of places we wanted to get photos taken. She was super collaborative and helped us cover as much as possible that day. The photos turned out beautiful. Can't recommend her enough.

Khaki was an absolute pleasure to work with on our wedding day. Leading up to the day, she was super responsive and organized. The pre-wedding couples photoshoot was an unexpectedly fun part of the day and we are thrilled with how the photos have come out so far! I would absolutely recommend her to any couple!

Could not recommend working with Khaki and her team highly enough!! Their work is stunning and will be truly one-of-a-kind captures of your special day; no “cookie cutter” wedding or engagement shots here. Khaki and Jonica captured the joy, excitement, fun and anticipation of our long-awaited wedding day perfectly (we were a 2+ year delayed COVID couple, and Khaki was so flexible and easy to work with even in the midst of the pandemic!). My husband looks so handsome and I feel like a queen in the shots, but most importantly our personalities shine through as well, which was effortless to get when working with Khaki. We chose Khaki as our photographer for our wedding in August 2020. She was so easy to work with and I loved her laid back style. She has an amazing ability to capture moments without it feeling posed. Her photos take me right back to our wedding day.    When I found out I was pregnant, I knew I wanted her to do a maternity and newborn shoot. The maternity shoot felt so natural at my home and neighborhood.   The newborn shoot was in November 2021 and I had the pleasure of meeting Jonica. She took pictures of our son and it could not have went better. Jonica was so good with the baby and captured us at home loving on our baby. The photos are so special.   I’m looking forward to the next big event so we can have them come back and take pictures.

We are so happy that we hired Khaki Bedford Photography for our recent wedding! Early on in our wedding planning process, we were told that your photographer is one of the most important vendor selections you'll make. Not only will you spend the majority of your wedding day with your photographer, but wedding photos are the only way to fully remember the details of your big day 30+ years after it's over. Khaki and her team are kind, patient, professional, so talented and easy to work with. Our wedding photos are absolutely gorgeous! After receiving our photos, we couldn't believe all of the beautiful shots that were captured because Khaki and her team were so discreet when photographing my husband and I and all of our guests. I could not be happier that we hired Khaki for our big day and would recommend Khaki Bedford Photography to any and all couples! Our wedding photos will bring me to (happy) tears for years to come and we could not be more thankful.

We chose Khaki for our wedding based on her portfolio and after communicating with (online) and meeting her, we were sure we made the right choice. Khaki is not only super talented, but makes you feel very comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Our engagement photos were taken in Manhattan and she made us look like we were the only two people in the city. She is reliable, professional, and really has a unique perspective compared to the work of many other photographers that we saw. Highly recommend Khaki & team!!

We've booked Khaki for our engagement shoot and wedding photography, and she's been phenomenal. She is so easy to work with, has a fantastic eye, and is great at making you feel comfortable. We walked around our neighborhood for the engagement shoot, and she got amazing shots all over despite having never visited the area before. We live in Nashville and our wedding is in NYC, so finding Khaki to take engagement pictures here and wedding photography there has been a godsend. We're recommending her to all of our friends who are getting engaged, you will not be disappointed!

Sophisticated, editorial style photography and a dream to work with! Jonica from Khaki Bedford Photography shot our wedding and we were absolutely thrilled with the results! We were drawn to their editorial style photography and attention to detail. Khaki was a delight to deal with, very warm, yet professional and happy to work within our budget. Khaki and Jonica spoke and met with us on several occasions to get to know us as a couple and understand exactly what we wanted. They were super organized on the day so it ran incredibly smoothly. The result was high quality, sophisticated, non contrived photos. Once we received the photos, Khaki was more than happy to accomodate a couple of edits. I would not hesitate to book Khaki Bedford Photography for your wedding or special event.

Khaki unfortunately couldnt make our wedding date but she put us in touch with Daniel Orren who was a great choice. Even though Khaki's company was a little more expensive than the others we were in discussions with , the perspective we got from her and the quality of Daniel's portfolio encouraged us to pay more and the results have been perfect. While Daniel took the photos, Khaki edited them and we have a truly beautiful record of our wedding day. You wont be disappointed working with Khaki

We were so lucky to have Khaki photograph our wedding. She’s a fantastic photographer with a great eye, and also happens to be a really lovely person! She and her team were incredibly easy to work with, totally unobtrusive but still managed to capture beautiful, intimate moments, as well as the energy of the reception. The resulting photos are amazing, and the experience of working with Khaki was truly great. Highly recommend!

Khaki was our wedding photographer and we honestly could not have asked for better. She was very thorough with finding out what we were looking for and she delivered perfectly. Our pictures are of amazing quality and she captured everything we could have wanted and more. I don't understand how she does it. It's like she is a magical creature that can stop time to capture everything with precision. 100% recommend Khaki for any and all of your photography needs. Plus she is a super rad, fun girl which makes working with her so great! Side note: Ask Khaki about her super amazing photobooth too! We used her photobooth at a party and it was so much fun and really added that extra aspect that made the party so memorable.

Choosing Khaki to be our photographer was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From our first phone call with her, we knew that she was the right choice. It's easy to be nervous or feel awkward when someone is just snapping photo after photo. With Khaki, it was like hanging out with a friend, and she made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. She has an incredible eye for unique shots, and has an uncanny ability of capturing every moment, even when you're convinced she couldn't possibly have been in two places at once! She's also great at coming up with brilliant shots that play with lighting and reflections. When we finally received our photos we were stunned. The quality far exceeded what we had hoped for, and the feeling of love from both ourselves and the guests poured from each photo. We are so thrilled that as we grow older, we will always be able to relive our big day through these pictures.

Khaki was such a pleasure to work with, and our photos are better than I could have even imagined! Khaki made everything easy and stress-free. She was incredibly responsive and easy to work with leading up to the wedding, and on our wedding day she put us at ease and felt like an old friend within minutes. We just got our photos back and she somehow captured every moment of joy and happiness and the photos really embody the spirit of our wedding. She also somehow managed to get multiple pictures of all our guests and was in the right place at the right time for every special moment. We are both a bit camera shy but felt so comfortable with her and now have the most beautiful photos to cherish for life. Cannot recommend Khaki enough!

Khaki Bedford and Kelli did an amazing job -- all the photos captured intimate moments and the shots are beautiful. We were so happy when we received our pictures. During the events, Kelli made us feel comfortable during portrait shots and then seamlessly blended into the background during the ceremony and party. We received all of our photos very quickly and can print through Khaki or download every single photo to have for ourselves; I would absolutely use Khaki for all life events going forward and will recommend her to all of my friends. I can't say enough nice things about her.

Delightful to work with and the photos turned out amazing! Not the predictable boring wedding photo poses, which is exactly what we wanted and why we picked Khaki! The photos are fresh and catered to who you are as a couple! Everyone was amazing to work with, highly recommend!

Khaki was amazing and one of our favorite wedding vendors for sure! She is so friendly and easy to work with - she made us feel comfortable even when taking photos together didn't seem like such a natural experience :) We did engagement photos about 6 months before the wedding, which was a great opportunity to meet Khaki, and also get a feel for having photos taken. The engagement photos turned out beautifully, even though it was a cold and cloudy day! Then, for the wedding, we honestly couldn't have asked for more. Khaki was able to so easily manage our wedding of 110 guests. She got a lot of great shots of so many guests throughout the day/evening. And not to mention, the getting ready photos, our first look, and photos of us strolling around Brooklyn - the all turned out so great! We couldn't be more pleased with how our photos turned out and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Khaki made us feel so comfortable and confident on our wedding day! My partner and I are both a little camera-shy, but Khaki was full of ideas for great shots that didn't feel staged or forced. She took lovely candid shots of our friends and family at the reception, and integrated herself so smoothly into the whole event. All the photos came out so beautifully, and she delivered them to us quickly and seamlessly. Highly recommend!

Khaki did an amazing job on our wedding photos. We used Khaki for both our engagement photos and our wedding day photos. She was so great to work with throughout the entire planning process - very accommodating, always quick to respond, and always had great suggestions to help us with locations and timing. She made us feel comfortable while also giving us helpful directions when taking photos. She was also very accommodating when it came to getting our photos back, providing sneak peeks and family photos in advance of the full set. Khaki has an amazing eye and manages to capture truly beautiful scenes. She is a truly talented photographer! Khaki also has a great team - we worked with Jonica on our wedding day as well who did a fantastic job. We could not be happier how all of our photos came out. We were so pleased with Khaki and consider selecting her as photographer for our wedding one of the best decisions we made. It seemed each photo was nearly perfect. (My mom couldn't decided her favorites and posted 60 - SIXTY - to Facebook! Moms!) The pictures were spectacular and felt like "us." It was far colder on our wedding day (March 2018) than we anticipated and Khaki was flexible as we tried to figure out where we wanted to ultimately go. The long list was shortened and we popped up to the Brooklyn Bridge unexpectedly.

We booked Jonica, Khaki's right hand woman, to shoot our engagement and wedding. Meeting Jonica in August for our engagement shoot was a pleasure, she made us feel comfortable immediately. Shooting with Jonica and Catherine on our wedding day, was some of the most calming, natural moments of the day. They provided us the perfect direction for our portraits and were perfectly "there but not there" during our first look. Seeing our sneak peek today, I am absolutely blown away and so thankful for their talents. These are photos I will treasure a lifetime.

Our budget for a photographer was under $3K, so this worked out well. Our photographer was prompt, professional, and had clearly scouted the location as she knew exactly where to go. We received the photos back and were 95% happy--The lighting could have been adjusted; for example, we got shots on the iconic Washington street in DUMBO and the Empire State Building didn't appear under the bridge (which lets be honest, is the whole point of shooting there and can be captured on most smart phones). Our photographer stuck with our shot list and fulfilled all contractual expectations. :) Highly recommend.

We had our wedding photographed by Jonica for Khaki Bedford at our Brooklyn wedding in November. Their incredible work speaks for itself, they are talented and the exact vibe we wanted for our wedding photos. On top of that, they are both fantastic to work with. Leading up to the day, they were both extremely responsive and professional in creating a detailed plan for the day. Jonica also recommended a few vendors she had successfully worked with before and that is how we found our awesome florist! Day of, Jonica made us so comfortable and was knowledgable about finding great spots in the neighborhood. After the wedding, Khaki was super helpful in getting us a couple of shots early to use for a thank you card, and then delivered our stunning photos right on time! Photos were one of our top priorities for the wedding and we couldn't be more pleased!
