Khoa is amazing! He made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process and photoshoot. We love our photos and love Khoa's vision for each shot. He also took the time to make sure to cover specific shots we had in mind as well.

Khoa... What can I say?!? Working with Khoa was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He was very accommodating and readily available to answer all random and last minute questions. He was very nice and got our wedding party and guests excited to take pictures. His work is amazing and we got our photos really fast. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Khoa. He was the photographer for my friend’s wedding and I saw how beautiful her photos were so we sought him out for our engagement and wedding photography. He was a joy to work with for both events! He arrived early to the engagement shoot to scope out the best photo spots and directed us as needed. On the day of the wedding, he arrived promptly and took many amazing shots of us Even though we are both pretty camera shy, we felt very comfortable with him. His turnaround time was also super fast!! He was so accommodating and attentive during the editing process and we absolutely love the results. Working with Khoa and Elise was the best experience, by far! Hubby and I are NOT used to being in front of the camera, but they made it easy, fun, and the finished photos were STUNNING. We got our engagement photos and wedding ceremony done with them. Sneak peeks of the engagement photos were met with tons of compliments. When the ceremony came about, our families were so pleased to see the effort, and even more so, the excitement for his craft that Khoa exudes. They were amazingly patient and supportive of us even adding our fur baby into the engagement photos, and were amazingly supportive and helpful when searching for locations for both sessions. All of the images we wanted to capture were done, and then some! So many favorites, both posed and candid, however my favorites were always the detailed shots! We cannot even begin express our appreciation for Khoa capturing our small ceremony with family! He captured the moments that really mattered to us and even made sure to capture the moments that we didn’t even realize we would want. He is such a calm, thoughtful, and kind person and brings the best energy. His artistic style captures the emotions, which gives you the ability to relive the moment at a later time (something that was very important to us). We cannot sing his praises enough. He even took the time to capture some polaroid photos which we didn’t know about and gave us at the end so we had something to have immediately. It was such a touching and thoughtful gesture. He provided some sneak peek photos the next day and the rest of the photos were available quicker than we could have ever anticipated. Neither of us are very good at being in front of a camera and he made us both feel so relaxed and like we were able to live in the moment. If you are trying to find a photographer for any occasion, you need not look any further. Khoa is person to go to!

I am so glad my husband and I booked Khoa as our wedding photographer! Our wedding was August 19, 2023 in San Diego, CA. Khoa & his partner, Elise were a pleasure to work with and we can't recommend them enough! They were professional and so so patient amongst the chaos throughout the day. Khoa photographed our elopement and we could not be happier! He was extremely professional and made our experience even more special. He made us feel very comfortable and he was very detailed. His creativity was highlighted when we received our photos and we were thrilled that he caught all of the magic of our day. Khoa was absolutely fabulous to work with this past year! He did our engagement photos back in July 2022 at his spot up in the Laguna Mountains, and we absolutely loved the photos. We asked him to also shoot our wedding in Julian CA in April 2023 as well! He captured every moment of our day and sent us our photos back (all 1500 of them!) in 3 weeks! We were so thrilled! He captured all the big moments of our wedding as well as all the small details that made it special to us. We have never taken professional photos before, and we were both a little nervous. Khoa was great at putting us at ease and helping us pose so we looked natural for both of our events. He also goes above and beyond and takes a few Polaroid photos to give to you right away which was really sweet. He was professional, easy to communicate with, and all around fabulous. From the moment I met with Khoa on Facetime, I knew he was going to be a pleasure to work with. The pictures of our wedding day came out beautifully, and even better than what I had expected. His energy throughout the whole day was amazing. He captured our wedding day so perfectly! Khoa was also so flexible with all the changes that were made, and adapted to the little rain sprinkles we had throughout the day.

He made us feel at ease from the time we met over Zoom to go over logistics and how to prep for the day, to meeting for the first time in person. Khoa was very personable, easygoing, and funny, and made the engagement shoot at Joshua Tree fun. He went to extra mile to capture us till sundown as we chased the light, despite it being a bit chilly. We received some highlights a couple of days after the shoot and were so pleased with how it turned out! He captured us beautifully - his composition and lighting were amazing. We received the full gallery less than 2 weeks after the shoot and loved all of it. Khoa was awesome to work with. He is sincerely warm and has such a joyful nature to him. It made my special day with my husband so great to have someone who really loves their craft so clearly. Khoa is also Vietnamese, and so it was helpful to have him be able to communicate with them during our family photoshoot. Our album came so quickly after our wedding as well, we were so surprised and impressed with the speed of the turn around. My favorite aspect of having Khoa as our photographer is his special and beautiful ability to capture raw emotion so well. We loved our album as he captured all our guests’ expressions and emotions throughout the day and it truly helped us relive our wedding through a lens we weren’t able to see (being that we were focused on each other vs staring out at our room full of 200 guests).

Khoa is an incredible photographer! If you are considering him for your engagement/wedding photos, look no further...you found your guy! Khoa took our engagement photos and our whole experience was great. He was wonderful with planning the perfect time and spot for our shoot and provided us with guides to help us prepare. We had a great experience with Khoa. He had really helpful suggestions on locations and timings for the day and he really went above and beyond to get us the best photos. We didn't arrive in San Diego until just before the wedding but Khoa took the time to get to know us via video call and was very prompt and professional in all his communications, even though we were all in three different timezones. Our wedding was our first time having professional photos taken so we were a bit nervous at first, but Khoa instantly put us at ease when we met up with him on the day with his enthusiasm and his friendly and kind personality - we just had a really fun time hanging out with him! We were very happy with the whole experience and we loved the editing and the final pics.

Khoa was great from the very beginning! Starting with my initial inquiry to the very end, he was responsive and a pleasure to work with. The wedding day was so light hearted and fun- we had the best time! If you’re still looking, just stop already and hire him! He is so talented and a joy to be around.

Khoa is THE BEST. His work/pictures speak for themselves but I have so many amazing things to say about Khoa. From the first time we spoke to him over the phone, he was so sweet and friendly. I believe it was his first indian wedding and he asked awesome questions to better understand what we were looking for. Our first event was my henna party. Khoa came to my parents house to get some pictures with our decorations at home and some golden hour portraits of me and my husband (pictured below). He then went to the venue and captured all of the most beautiful moments. He was so friendly that every guest kept asking me for his information! He had a smile on his face when every woman forced their phones in his hand to take a picture, even I was getting annoyed but Khoa was such a great sport. He made sure to get so many portraits of us with each other and as many guests as possible. For our ceremony and reception, Khoa worked tirelessly all day. He was simply the best. He has such a creative eye and captured the most romantic moments. Please check out some of our favorites below but to be honest, its hard to choose a few because every single picture was perfect. The shots he of us, our families, the details, and especially the portraits!!!! You have to see for yourself :) I would 100000000% recommend Khoa to every couple out there!

There aren't enough positive and kind words to describe our experience with Khoa as our engagement and intimate wedding photographer!! I stumbled upon Khoa's website through random googling and I could not be more grateful that I did. I could feel his infectious energy lift right off his website and I immediately loved his style of photography. Khoa was professional, responsive, friendly, and provided good tips to get us ready for our engagement shoot. Right off the bat, he put us at ease and made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. We've never done professional photos before so didn't know what to expect, but we were laughing and enjoying ourselves throughout the entire shoot - in the best way possible, Khoa lets you be you, provides direction as needed, and blends into the background to capture the moment. I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Khoa. Prior to booking him, he was extremely responsive via email and gave us an outfit guide, which was super helpful. We decided to book him for our engagement photos in Mt. Laguna this past November and we were absolutely blown away with the results. My fiance and I do not consider ourselves to be photogenic and were both super nervous about being photographed. We honestly anticipated we would only get a few photos we liked. Boy, were we wrong! During the session, Khoa made us feel comfortable and even played our preferred music during the shoot to calm the nerves. He was able to both pose us naturally and take candid shots. He had a great eye for the best lighting and knew exactly where we needed to be for great photos. Khoa also paid attention to every detail about our clothing, hair, etc. for the perfect picture. We also had our dog participate in the photos and Khoa got some absolutely adorable shots with him! Khoa was patient with him and his listening challenges! We received our photos very quickly (i think about 2 weeks later), we were shocked to see how many stunning pictures we got! We had a very hard time choosing just a couple for our Save the Dates! The gallery that he shared with us had so many photos and a lot of really great features, including being able to "favorite" particular photos and easily download images that we wanted! I cannot recommend Khoa enough to anyone needing a photographer, his finished product exceeded our wildest expectations! We feel so blessed to have had such an amazing photographer and some wonderful photos that we will cherish forever!

We could never say enough amazing things about Khoa and the incredible way he captured our special day. Not only is he beyond talented in his craft, he's also one of the most genuine, kindest humans you'll ever meet and made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day! Khoa is such an amazing photographer! He really made my fiancé and I feel comfortable and confident the whole time during our shoot. We found Khoa by Googling ideas for an idyllic San Diego engagement shoot. Samples of his photography came up, and the panoramic scenes from La Jolla Trail caught our eye immediately. We sent Khoa a message, and he was happy to schedule us for a Friday afternoon in June. Before we met, we arranged a phone call to talk about our vision for the shoot. Having never had professional photos taken of us before, we readily deferred to Khoa's expertise and creativity. He was a true pleasure to talk to, and we were excited to meet him for the shoot! When that Friday came around, we met with Khoa at the trailhead. Right off the bat, he exuded enthusiasm and professionalism, making us feel comfortable straight away. Within minutes, we just felt as if we were hanging out with a close friend. We hiked to the sweeping peaks of the trail, and Khoa got to work. Again, we've never taken professional photos before, so we had no idea what we were doing! Khoa made it extremely easy and entertaining altogether. He was generous with his time, staying a little later than scheduled to get photos with better lighting. We left the shoot feeling happy and lucky to have chosen Khoa as our photographer. Our photos were returned to us in a very reasonable timeframe. He emailed me a zip file containing high-resolution photos that we've since printed on canvas paper! All of the photos came out beautifully; needless to say, we'll be having Khoa take our wedding photos, too! If you're in the San Diego area (or anywhere, really -- as he'll travel to you), we cannot recommend Khoa highly enough. Of all our wedding vendors, he's been the best to work with by a mile, and we're looking forward to working with him again soon. Thank you, Khoa!

We are beyond satisfied and elated that Khoa was the one who took our engagement photos. These are the reasons why we believe he was the perfect photographer to help us celebrate our engagement: 1) He is VERY responsive and professional- From the very beginning when we first contacted him on instagram, he was very responsive and professional through online messaging. Every time we saw a message from him, we were excited, because he would give more details about the photoshoot or respond to a question that we had. 2) He goes ABOVE and BEYOND- He took a few extra photos for us during the photoshoot and was very open to ideas that we had. He was so kind and really wanted to capture every moment. He even stayed a little overtime to help us get beautiful sunset photos. He also brought prisms and even gave us special gifts at the end- polaroid photos of us during the photoshoot! The gift at the end was very thoughtful and it made the engagement photoshoot so special. 3) He will fix you up before taking the photos- When our hair or clothes were messed up, he was always there for us and he fixed us up to make our photos perfect. 4) He has excellent editing skills- His editing skills are meticulous and natural. We really liked how the background was not too edited and even though the photos were edited, it still looked very natural and candid. We thought the prism and filter effects he chose were unique and they looked great! 5) He is experienced in posing couples candidly and finding the best areas to take pictures- The area we were shooting at required a lot of walking around and finding areas to take the photos, but he was very experienced and he was able to find the best spots to take beautiful pictures. 6) He is very kind and patient. He makes you feel very comfortable- It took some time walking from one location to the next and during that time he talked to us sincerely and got to know us better. I also had to change clothes halfway. However, during the entire time, he was very patient. He really helped make us feel comfortable and happy throughout the entire photoshoot. All in all, we are VERY satisfied with Khoa's photography and editing skills. He is seriously the BEST and we would highly recommend him to anyone! He will definitely be able to capture your best moments so you can cherish them forever!

5.0 The absolute dream come true We had the honor to have Khoa as our photographer for our engagement session. The pictures came out better than we could have dreamed they captured every feeling shared in the moment. It was so much fun to work with him, his personality added so much to the experience.

Having my pictures taken is not one of my favorite activities but Khoa made this day so fun and effortless I would do it again in a heartbeat! My fiancé and I came from out of town and Khoa was able to suggest two great locations for photos that were close by to where we were staying. Khoa was so easy going and down to earth we had the best afternoon getting to know him and taking our pictures. He was so helpful in giving us direction but also making us feel very comfortable and natural. We are beyond thrilled with our stunning pictures and we cannot thank Khoa enough for making this such a wonderful experience. From sending us tips and tricks beforehand and suggesting a personal playlist during our photos I would give more than 5 stars if I could. We made the best choice hiring Khoa to photograph our wedding! From start to finish, he was open, communicative, and so fun to work with. His style is impeccable and our pictures came out so beautiful. He’s able to capture how we feel about one another and that’s no easy feat! My wife and I decided to elope to start off 2021 on a wonderful note and we needed a photographer to capture the day last minute. Within a week, Khoa was able to meet with us over Zoom and answer all of our questions, suggested a stunning location for the shoot, and gave us a memorable experience in which we will never forget. He is professional yet personable, funny, and has a detailed eye for a great shot. Not only was he able to capture our perfect day through photographs but he was able to get them back to us within a week! With COVID restrictions in place, we all wore masks when appropriate and stayed 6 feet apart with no issues at all.

Our experience with Khoa was amazing! My fiancé and I had never done a formal photo shoot and were pretty nervous, but Khoa just made it feel like a super fun date! Khoa was an absolute delight to work with. His laugh is infectious and he is one of the most positive people i've ever met. I am not sure where to begin with how amazing the experience was with Khoa!!! Much like many 2020 couples, our plans changed soooo many times throughout the year, but we eventually decided to postpone the big wedding. But we really didn't really want to wait! SO I had an idea to just elope and marry him on our favorite beach in San Diego. I reached out to Khoa and he just so happened to have an opening the day we needed. It was meant to be! I had admired his work for years, and I was so ecstatic for him to shoot our little ceremony. I have never felt more comfortable getting my photos taken, and my husband who is literally anti-camera (HATES being in front of a camera), came out of his shell and I could NOT be happier with the photos! He captured us in a way that hasn't been done before!!! He did everything to get the shot he wanted! At one point he was in like a foot of water haha. Cannot wait to work with him again in the future! You will not be disappointed. Which I could give more than 5 stars!!!

Honestly, we love Khoa. We found him through a Google search. After speaking/emailing with a few photographers, we felt Khoa was the right combination of professional but also human and fun! And we were so right. Khoa was such a joy to work with, it always felt effortless and fun. He puts everyone at ease with his kind nature, and does an amazing job with the photography itself. We had Khoa take our anniversary photos and they turned out perfect! We had never done professional photos before and he was so helpful with both the planning and the execution. He suggested venues, ideal times, and wardrobe ideas. During the shoot he helped us relax and gave us good instructions on poses. Of course the pictures are phenomenal and he perfectly captured us as a couple as well as the scenery we love.

I'll be honest. I was never big on the idea of an engagement photoshoot, but it was important to my fiancé and I eventually got on board with the idea of capturing this pivotal point in our lives. Along came Khoa, whom of course my lovely fiancé found after some research. Our initial call to get to know each other was as fruitful and productive as it can get. Khoa broke the ice, asked smart questions to gauge our personalities, and gave us some thought starters to mull over ahead of our shoot date. But really his incredible friendliness and absolutely infectious laugh truly won us over. My fiancé and I picked Trona Pinnacles as our destination, a solid 3-hour drive for us. However, it was easily a whopping 5 or 6+ for Khoa. That is one hell of a champion right there. The journey together to the site itself was not for the faint of heart. Dodging pits, jagged rocks, and everything a desert landscape could throw at our poor sedans (pro tip for anyone thinking Trona Pinnacles: bring an SUV or ATV), the 1-hour photoshoot turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Khoa was effective and efficient. He took charge in helping us get into position, dissolving any awkwardness, and actively asking us for feedback on how we felt and if there was anything we'd like to try. He was open-minded all the way and his sense of adventure only helped get my fiancé and I out of our comfort zones, which we deeply appreciated. It's been close to a month since our photoshoot and my fiancé and I continue to recommend Khoa to our friends and family. And now we want to recommend him to the rest of the world.

Khoa did any amazing job with our engagement photo shoot! We had to relocate from Yosemite to Santa Barbara due to the fires, and Khoa made the process very easy. We hired Khoa for our engagement and wedding pictures in 2020. Planning a wedding in 2020 proved to be quite a challenge, but Khoa was with us all the way and was open to our ever changing plans. Our engagement photos at Torrey Pines are some of the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen! We just received our wedding photos and words can’t explain how happy we are with the quality of the pictures. He is a master of his craft! Khoa is such a genuine, funny and professional photographer. I truly enjoyed working with him and having him around on our special day!

We knew from the beginning that we wanted the best photos and photographer for our wedding. We’re extremely glad we researched early and came across Khoa’s work which was amazing. After meeting him, we knew he was the perfect photographer for our engagement shoot and wedding weekend. He’s the most down to earth and friendly person you can have. He knows how to assist people that aren’t used to taking photos and making them look like models. He captures photos at the perfect angles and knows how to work with whatever lighting available. He’s not afraid to run, sweat, or get dirty to capture the best possible photo. One time, while enroute to our engagement shoot destination, a big tree fell over in the middle of the road which prevented us from reaching our location. Khoa was determined to move and break the tree down to allow just enough space for our car to fit through. He never once gave up or even mentioned to turn around or to give up. His editing skill is even better. He provides instant teaser photos for you to post on social media and for you to share with friends/family. The rest of the photos follow shortly and much faster than we could have expected. Our entire wedding party had nothing but awesome things to say about Khoa. He is definitely more than just a vendor/photographer to us now. He is our friend indefinitely. Will definitely recommend him to everyone we know and we are super glad we chose him. Thanks Khoa!

We are so happy that we chose Khoa to photograph our wedding ceremony! We had a last minute change of plans due to COVID-19, and Khoa was very receptive to our vision for the day on short notice. We had a two-part ceremony – a tea ceremony at my parent’s house and then a small outdoor ceremony in La Jolla. Khoa was very flexible and willing to work with us. He has amazing energy and a very gentle kind spirit, which put me at ease the day of. The pictures turned out amazing!! He has such artistic talent and a great eye. It felt like he was in so many places at the same time. He captured so many genuine and precious moments from the day. I cannot stop looking at the pictures and reliving the day. Khoa was hands down the best photographer/person we could have asked for. What started off as a normal photo shoot soon turned into a nightmare after our pup ran into a cholla cactus and was completely covered with 1000’s of thorns! Khoa remained completely calm and helpful during a stressful situation. He offered to follow us to the pet hospital (seriously, how sweet is he?!), and once we had everything with our dog under control, Khoa was able to re-route the shoot and make a nearby destination work PERFECTLY for our engagement shots. After everything happened with our baby (dog), I never in a million years thought we would be able to proceed with the shoot and capture the amazing photos he did. We were probably more trouble than we were worth lol, but he went above and beyond and helped save our day. Life throws unexpected challenges your way, and we were BEYOND thankful we had Khoa with us. After a traumatizing experience, he was still able to help bring smiles to our faces with a light hearted and loving approach. He made us laugh, dance and cry! What more can anyone ask for?? Picking Khoa for our unexpectedly small and expedited COVID wedding was 100% the right decision. He was very communicative from the beginning. His demeanor is awesome and he’s very easy to be around. It makes you feel at ease taking pictures and having him at your wedding. We used Khoa for engagement pictures (our dog was able to be included in some!). We had a great time and the end result was beautiful! He was super receptive to our requests for locations and activities. At the end of the session, he printed out two polaroids of pictures we had taken that day; it was such a thoughtful surprise.

Khoa is absolutely one of the most genuine human beings I have ever met. We initially got in touch because he was my friends wedding photographer. I was really nervous to try and find a kind person to be my wedding photographer, as I have heard horror stories. The first time I talked to Khoa, we must have talked for an hour or so. He is so sweet and caring about his art. He really wants to know what kind of people you and your significant other are so that he can do his best to try and accomplish your personalities/ interests in your wedding photos. Khoa's prices are fair as he provides you with a lot of photos and choices (I mean A LOT.) He also has a photo booth for you and your family and friends! I highly recommend using him! Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, my man and I were unable to have our ceremony this year. Khoa was very understanding and helped us out so much! I've seen him in action at other weddings and I was really looking forward to having him be the reason that I get amazing photos of our special day. When Bjorn and I started planning our wedding, we both agreed that photography was one of the most important vendors to us because of the memories & value they hold last a lifetime. As artists, we were also after a specific preference in style. We wanted our photos to be timeless, natural, clean and warm. When I spotted Khoa’s work on The Knot, I knew I had to connect with him immediately. Hopping on the phone with Khoa is what sealed the deal. Khoa did an amazing job photographing our engagement shoot! So glad we chose him to be our photographer. My fiancé and I are extremely picky since he is a photographer himself. After we saw his photos on his Instagram page, we were hooked and decided to book him right away. The hike we did was so much fun. The shoot was fun and stress free the entire time. My husband and I are so grateful that we had the opportunity to work with Khoa for our anniversary photoshoot! He surpassed our expectations! He was timely with all of our communication from the first moment we asked if we was available right up to returning our beautiful artwork to us. I think it is paramount that you FEEL COMFORTABLE with your photographer and Khoa didn’t fail to make us feel that. From answering my plentiful emails and messages, assisted me when I had issues for the park permit, to being flexible on our day, he was very patient. He is very HELPFUL and MORE THAN READY TO DO BEYOND HIS JOB just to ease out all the stress and hassle that happens along the way.  Evidently, HIS WORKS ARE BEYOND GORGEOUS. He was able t capture the beauty of Yosemite and the sentimental moments we had on that day.  We can’t praise enough his works. His talent and works are great investment.  We feel more than lucky to have him for our special day. His works and service are BEYOND MY EXPECTATION.At the end of the day, he gave us 2 polaroid photos of some of his shots and that was like a cherry on top! 10 out of 5 stars! Khoa was the photographer for my brothers wedding this past summer and I couldn’t have asked for better! He captured the perfect candid pictures from the wedding reception. You could tell how much fun everyone had through his pictures!!

Hands down one of the best photographers that I have had the pleasure of working with. He camp at the photo shoots spot a night before to scout for few places to shoots. Since I have a no experience to shoots before he crack some joke to make me comfortable and he's really friendly to guide the poses for me to make our wedding look better because we were tensed up. Overall, I felt like he really captured the moment and his photos captured a bit of our personalities. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for high quality photography at an affordable price.

Updated review post-wedding: We worked with Khoa for both our engagement photos as well as the wedding day, and we could not have been happier with the results! We actually had already done an engagement shoot with a different photographer, but something felt missing from the photos. My husband and I are pretty camera-shy and non-photogenic people, and our original engagement photos seemed a bit stiff and posed. After stumbling upon Khoa's website later during wedding planning, I fell in love with his very impressive portfolio and knew I wanted to do a second engagement shoot with him. He is such a talented, humble, and friendly photographer, and the photos he captured of us were so natural and beautiful. He helped us feel at ease in front of the camera, and we truly enjoyed working with him! We loved working with him so much that we actually cancelled our original, lower budget wedding photography plan after many pandemic-related postponements, and reached out to Khoa to be our wedding photographer as well. We met Khoa at a friend’s wedding. I drooled over his portfolio and hoped that we’d get something half as good as the other wedding, and I wasn’t disappointed at all; all 1600+ pictures we got back were insanely good. Every single picture tells a story and brings back every feeling of our day. My husband and me and our family were absolutely blown away with the result. We love Khoa! I first found Khoa on instagram while hunting for vendors and immediately fell in love with his photo style. Soft natural lighting that looked effortless and highlighted the couples in the photos. I reached out and he requested that we meet up with him in his home to see if it was a good fit. Right off the bat, Khoa was e
