My husband and I are absolutely FLOORED at how great our engagement and wedding photos from Ryan at Kiln & Clay Photography turned out! Communicating with Ryan was easy-going and responsive from the get-go. His website’s inquiry/planning tool helped to keep communication and planning/organization super clear, which is extremely helpful when you’re in and out of various vendor portals and emails all the time (his was by far the easiest to use and keep up with)! Both of our sessions began mid-evening and extended into darker hours, and Ryan perfectly balanced out the lighting changes; it was like we got to see different chapters of the night, and they came together to visually tell the story of those special days. We also appreciated how calm, collected, and helpful Ryan was during the planning and execution of our photos. We had never had pictures taken of us professionally, and Ryan not only helped us to identify the types of photos we prefer (romantic, not too posed, leaning towards candid style), but also executed them perfectly. Our friends and family haven’t been able to stop raving about how great everything turned out. Best of all, his turn around times far exceeded our expectations! We had friends get married recently that still had not received photos 7 months after their wedding; Ryan apologized for “taking too long” with 2 months for ours. Turnaround of course depends on the time of year and workload (photographers are human just like you and me), but we appreciated that he wanted to respect our time and get them back to us as soon as possible! We could not put Ryan and Kiln & Clay Photography up on a higher pedestal of recommendation for your wedding or special photography needs!
