She stepped up during a discussion with our wedding coordinator to say that we were probably trying to jam too much into the schedule and helped us reorganize it. I really appreciated this because I was feeling super overwhelmed at the time. She went above and beyond, including coming to the rehearsal at the venue, arriving early, and staying late to make sure our photos were perfect. When we got our photos, I was amazed by all the photos she got. Beautiful portraits, small details, wide landscapes, candids. She truly captured our day. Lastly, I must highlight that I've attended weddings where the photographers can feel intrusive. This was not Kim at all. I honestly don’t know how she got some the incredible shots!

I worried about intense shadows in group photos or being washed out by filters that work best on lighter skin tones. Kim managed to capture everyone with the glowing love we all felt on that beautiful day. I have truly never seen more beautiful photos of my partner and I, as either a portrait or candid. She also fulfilled our request to prioritize capturing the guest experience at our wedding. We have come away from our wedding celebration with memories of real moments that we hold deep in our hearts. Booking Kim for our wedding photography was easily the best choice I made for my wedding (other than who the groom was!).

She found locations and planned angles that created incredible moments and beautiful photos without disrupting the flow of our day. frame to capture THE perfect group shot, I knew she was the one! Kim is an outstanding communicator who delivers in her genuine relatable manner, planning, creativity, and artistry. She even took the time to scope out our venue on multiple occasions to see how the lighting would change throughout the day. She was a gem with our nephews and nieces who ranged from 10 months to 6 years. She memorized our whole wedding guest list of 30+ people and she and her partner had the photos so organized that we kept on our tight schedule as dictated by the venue. I'll be the first to say I feel awkward in photos and don't know how to pose. Kim was so patient with us. She modeled the posing and expressions in a way that made us laugh and act natural for the camera. When my husband and I needed a break from the spotlight, she accommodated without complaint. She was everywhere obtaining every shot I requested and more and yet unobtrusive. I gently reminded the two of them to stop, eat, and take breaks as they were non-stop from pre-wedding onward. We only had our wedding a few days ago and she already sent us the link to our photos! Kim A. Taylor had competitive photography rates and after working with her and seeing the results I am certain she was worth every penny and more! I know that marriage is once in a lifetime, but if I had to plan the perfect wedding all over again, Kim A. Taylor would still be the one for me.

e is super kind, fun, friendly, and dedicated to her work. She went into a great level of detail when we met her before to create our timelines and it was very reassuring. During our events she was constantly directing the traffic. She was really attentive to details. She was committed to each picture - making sure everyone was smiling, eyes open, in the right spot, etc. And this really reflects on the final pictures we received. They’re outstanding. She worked with our day of coordinators and really controlled the pace of the timeline. Even when there were hiccups (like our caterer arriving 2 hours late) she stayed flexible and adapted. She remembered all of the pictures that would be affected and made an immediate plan b. Her detail shots of the venue and our clothes accessories are absolutely gorgeous. And she was really good at adapting to indoor vs outdoor lighting. The barn we held our reception in was DARK. She had all the gear and cameras she needed for that and she carried multiple cameras so she could switch easily between close ups or wide angle or whatever else she needed. We were really worried about finding someone who could capture motion on the dance floor. She was amazing - literally dancing herself into the center of the dance floor (which got intense) and captured everyone! The style of her dance floor pictures is awesome! Such a fun use of motion and lighting! Her turn around time for our pictures was earlier than she had promised. It was a wonderful surprise to receive them to close to the event. She does her homework well. She visited the venue before the wedding and she researched Indian weddings to be prepared for what would happen during the ceremony. She made use of the whole property, the gardens, the buildings, and all of the nature. She has a great process to make sure she doesn’t miss out on any important pictures requests by having a clipboard with so many details! She could’ve left after the first day’s events were over but she stayed late to set up lighting and scout spots for our second day. She really went above and beyond to make this a memorable event for us. She even was running after us on our getaway car at the end of the 2nd night. Kim literally never quit for two days straight!

She met with us prior to the wedding to make sure she captured all the family photos we wanted in addition to her candid photos and to get to know us as a couple and help figure out our style as I love the in the moment photos and candid photos! She made being in a picture so easy and was so helpful in talking us through the shots but also making us feel at ease with her down-to-earth personality.
