yle matched our budget was one of those. After our first meeting with Kim, we were both confident that our day would be captured beautifully. OH MY GOSH, seriously we were so right. Kim was the absolute best to work with on our wedding day -- reassuring, uplifting, so kind, and completely flexible. Her presence and expertise calmed my nerves big time in the midst of the crazy day. And then, only one month after our absolute favorite day, we got to relive it when Kim delivered the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen (I may be a little biased). I didn't have to stress for even a moment that Kim was capturing our day perfectly, and when I went through our pictures (a million times), I was so glad I let the expert do her thing. I would recommend Kim a thousand times. If you want beautiful pictures and a stress-free process, hire her! We are her biggest cheerleaders!!

irst of all, I did not marry a ‘wedding guy.’ My husband hates having his photo taken and much prefers a pair of well-loved Converse to dress shoes. At one point I was prepared to secretly hire a ninja who would stand in the shadows in order to photograph a few moments from our day. Fatefully, a year prior to our engagement, we attended a friend’s wedding in Mexico photographed by Kim. Quickly falling under the charm of her sharp wit, we struck a friendship that resulted in some of the most genuine and, quite frankly, attractive photos of us I had ever seen. To my delight, Chris brought up hiring Kim for our own wedding. We agreed that not only did we love her work but she understood us. And for the wedding we were planning, that was essential. From our first call I felt we were in amazing hands, yet nothing could have prepared me for what she did for us the weekend of our wedding. She flawlessly served as photographer, friend, time manager, emergency cocktail-maker and comedic relief. Flexible, fiercely funny, and fazed by nothing, she conquered both Mother Nature and bridal anxiety. When we realized it was going to rain on our wedding day, Kim shot our portraits they day before to take advantage of the sun. When we wanted to use our South Philly neighborhood as a backdrop, a place where many would see streets lined with bird poop-covered cars, Kim captured an urban jungle of colorful doors and weathered brick walls laced with vines. When Chris said, “I don’t know what to do with my face!” she hilariously guided him to "give me more….oof okay no give me less” and captured all of the natural laughs in between that would eventually bring me to tears when they arrived in my inbox. More than being beautiful, and capturing us exactly as we are, Kim’s photography let us relieve the moments that I thought would simply become memories in my mind. I tried to absorb it all at the time, but the surreal-ness swept me away. So when I saw the photos of the ceremony afterwards, I was brought to tears. She had captured everything: the laughter, intensity, joy. All of it. Everyone says that your wedding will go by in the blink of an eye and it’s true. Kim gave it to us forever, and in a way that I believe only she could.

to get to know us as a couple and really listened and used that to get shots she knew we would love. We do not live in Savannah but Kim worked with us sending us samples and answering questions to make sure we had everything we needed to make our decision. She was wonderful at the ceremony and reception. At times I had forgotten she was there as she did a good job of staying out of the way but was still able to get so many good candid photos of us and our guests. My father even thought she was a guest at the wedding, one of our friends from college. My favorites were probably the ones she caught of my new husband and I when we thought no one was looking. They are beautiful, non-staged photos that will bring you right back to that very moment. Which is exactly what we wanted in a photographer. The day goes by so quickly and for her to capture our favorite moments for us to revisit for years to come is truly a gift. We took the standard family photos which is sometimes a challenge with my sister's two little ones and the fact that my husbands family lives abroad so it was a great opportunity to get some really nice shots of both sides of the family. I have to say that we were very impressed with the final product, she did an amazing job of capturing everyone at their best. She is very responsive and easy to get a hold of for questions through out the entire process. I am just looking for an opportunity to use her again. You will not be disappointed.

We got some of my favorite wedding weekend shots, the night before our wedding! She has always been more than helpful in making this picky bride have whatever I want! She got some of just me and my husband, some of the entire wedding party, some with just the men, some with just the women, and a few with family. She made it feel like I did get to have photos at all my favorite spots for my wedding day! She has been amazing throughout this entire process and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who will do anything she can to give the bride exactly what she wants!

Some people just have a knack for making other comfortable in these kinds of situations, and Kim is without a doubt one of the best. Her ability to capture the best and most beautiful moments of our wedding, all without feeling staged or less than genuine, proved to be exactly what we needed to perfectly preserve our day.

She was very friendly and made it feel as if we had known her for years. When we saw the photos they all looked impeccable. The lighting was perfect and all the coloring was crisp and clean. Very professional. I could not have hoped for a better set of pictures to capture one of the most important parts of my life.

She did an amazing job capturing my emotions, from freezing cold, to pure surprise, to happy tears, to joy. She did not miss a beat. She was able to capture an very intimate moment without feeling like she was in the middle of it, which I greatly appreciated! After my surprise proposal, she walked all around campus with us and we had an engagement photo session. The pictures are amazing. We have them all over our walls and we also used them for our save the dates! We would absolutely use her again!

We also learned that Kim is part of a military family, which is always a plus in my book. Leading up to the event, Kim emailed and called several times to confirm details and ensure she knew what kind of "vibe" we wanted for our photos. She is super relatable, easy to talk to, and very good at getting back to you about things quickly. Kim took tons of pictures in just an hour (which was all the time we needed). They're not careless photos, though - each one shows great attention to detail and thoughtfulness about what parts of the event to capture. She got great shots of the venue, our guests, our flower girls, and - of course - the ceremony itself. When Kim learned that part of my bouquet had a special, sentimental meaning, she took the time to take fantastic close-ups of it that are simply beautiful. I cried when I saw those photos - it was so kind of Kim to do that. Kim's eye for candid shots is spectacular, too. She somehow captured dozens of "perfect" moments when we didn't even know she was there. There's something about a photo of everyone laughing, or looking at each other just so, that will make your eyes well up long after the event. Every time I try to take one of those pictures, someone has food in their mouth or their eyes are closed. Somehow, though, everyone looks GREAT in the candids Kim took! They really are my favorites. The posed shots were beautiful, too, of course - I know every family has to have those. But I encourage you to let Kim loose at your event... she is truly gifted, and you will be tickled to see so many fun pictures of people just loving each other and having a great time. Finally - and this is IMPORTANT - Kim provided us all of the pictures on a CD with a release so we could print them ourselves (and share them online). Some photographers (although I think they're a dying breed) hold your photos hostage so you have to pay BIG BUCKS to print any of them. If you want them professionally printed, though, Kim also offers that service at a very reasonable price. In sum, you can tell from Kim's pictures that she really loves and takes great pride in her work. You won't feel like your wedding was just another "job," but like you had one more great friend at the wedding who happened to be a phenominal photographer.
