Kim Butler Photography

funny, energetic, creative, and truly excited to be a part of her clients' special moments. Kim was professional and responsive throughout the entire planning process. I'm so grateful for the beautiful moments she captured in our engagement photos at Olympic National Park and at our wedding in Seattle. Don't hesitate to make Kim a part of your special day!

fun to work with! Making you feel comfortable and beautiful the whole time! I can go on and on about how great of an experience I had with her! I will recommend her a million times! Thank you again Kim!! Looking forward to anniversary photos in the future with you!

ictures but she gave great guidance and suggestions. We never felt awkward with her, she became a friend during the process and we will always call on her when we need pictures. She is phenomenal at what she does! The pictures are always gorgeous - we get compliments all the time, and she moves so quickly! We got our sneak peaks the day after the wedding! And we got all of our photos about a month after our big wedding (and she apologized for them being late)! We cannot thank her enough for all that she did for us and we cannot recommend her enough. You will love working with her and you will cherish the end result forever.

m, so so kind, and hilarious to boot. She keeps you laughing and makes you feel utterly at ease during the entire shoot. And on top of all that, my goodness, her work is INCREDIBLE. We just got our photos back (4-week turnaround! WOW!) and we are blown away. All our friends and family are raving about the photos, and we could not be happier with how every single one turned out. If you are even vaguely entertaining the notion of booking Kim for your big day, DO IT!! Trust me, the results are worth every single penny and more. If it were possible to give Kim more than 5 stars, I would. 15/10 would recommend

onses, and made everything feel fun and relaxed. We first met Kim for our engagement photo shoot in Olympic National Park - she was easy-going and immediately made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. The weather was gloomy and rainy, but she made our photos absolutely beautiful. Then Kim traveled to Rhode Island for our wedding, and I cannot say enough about our wedding photos - I've only seen a few teasers so far but they are so gorgeous I don't have the words to do them justice. Kim made sure everyone in the wedding party was enjoying themselves and made the group photos feel seamless. I had had hopes for our wedding photos (doesn't anyone with an Instagram account??) and she exceeded them! ALSO we added in a next-day shoot so we could take pictures on the beach in RI, and that was also the best and the photos are incredible and I would recommend an extra day in your wedding outfits to anyone :) Thank you, Kim, for giving my husband and I the best photos and wonderful memories forever!

e at ease during our photo session. She answered every email promptly and there was no confusion on what to expect. My husband and I are from OK and this was our first time to see the PNW area, Kim gave great ideas for areas near our ceremony location. We had the best time, lots of laughs, a few tears, and a lifetime of memories. Our friends and family are still talking about how great the photos are but couldn't believe I went in knowing I was going to trash my dress. That was the best part, just being us and doing the wedding our way. Next time we're in WA, we'll definitely book with Kim again. She deserves more than 5 stars!

ped us with a bunch of the planning! My husband and I decided to get married in Washington but had never visited the area before so she offered us recommendations on restaurants for the reception, hair stylists, florists, photo locations, etc. Kim was always super quick to respond to all of our texts, emails or phone calls. She made sure our special day was perfect! She went above and beyond to make sure she captured the best pictures! We could not have asked for our photos and our wedding day to turn out any better!! We seriously LOVE every single one of them!!! Kim has such a sweet and fun personality, which allowed us to just relax and enjoy the day! I honestly could go on and on about how fantastic Kim is but her work speaks for itself.

on our honeymoon we wanted someone good but also at the right price. From the moment Kim responded to my e-mail we had a good feeling about her. She talked us through the pricing and said she would extend her trip to Iceland just to work with my husband and I. Photo shoots are hard and it makes it even harder if you don't get along with the person behind the camera. However, at the end I felt like I had just spent a whole day with my sister. She made my husband (who is camera shy) and myself feel so comfortable, even in the most uncomfortable situations (like putting on a wedding dress in a public bathroom or almost being hit by a wild Icelandic horse). Kim is a wonderful person and her skills as a photographer speak for themselves. I have had more complements on these photos then on my actual wedding photos! The only way that I can express how wonderful Kim is is by saying that of all the adventures we had in Iceland spending the day with Kim was the highlight of our trip.

rent wedding photographers that just didn’t connect with me; I also saw a lot of carbon copies of shots and poses. But Kim gave us a lot of special shots! She really has an eye for detail. I’m truly in love with my wedding pictures!! She was also SUPER friendly. I felt like she was my best friend (and I wish she was because she’s a cool lady!!). Kim is my favorite photographer ever and my husband can attest to that. If you're looking for an intimate wedding/elopement photographer, she is the one!! I'm going to talk about her and her work until I die, let's be real here. I honestly can't say enough nice things about her simply because she is the BEST. An all-around perfect experience. Thank you so much, Kim!! Can't wait to book her when we do our vow renewals!! I can't think of anybody more perfect to go internationally with!! 😍💖

iness but also so much love. Like these pictures are perfect representations of Dan and I and our relationship. The ones where you had Dan pick me up - SO CUTE. And the spot where you followed your gut and we shot by that sweet little stream - beautiful. Just beautiful. I don’t know how you did it but I am amazed and I CANNOT FREAKING WAIT to see the magic you make with our wedding day. Girl. YOU GO. I’m dying. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

out elegant, classy, and timeless. We will cherish them all forever!!

ded Kim! I would totally utilize her talents in photography for your special day and you won’t regret it.

AZING photos - Her quirky, fun personality (such a joy to be around!) - The personal touches and detail that made our photos special The details: Before we even hired her, Kim took the time to meet with us over Skype and get to know us. Once we started working together, she was always super responsive over email and helped us through that stressful time of wedding planning. Kim is also just super fun to be around! She is quirky and makes you totally at ease around her immediately! We clicked from day one. She joined in for our rehearsal dinner at our kinda-destination wedding, and was part of the family. The photos that she captured of that night are some of my favorite. Her personal touches are top notch! She had us write a love letter to each other and read them for our engagement shoot. Seeing our faces lit up in the photos as we shared why we love each other was priceless. She even took the time to find out that we have the same taste in music and incorporated that in to our engagement shoot and wedding day. Maybe most importantly, her photos are stunning! She took an already beautiful backdrop (the Gorge) and made it truly shine in our photos. Despite the crazy wind, every single photo from that day is gorgeous. I was immediately drawn to Kim's style when I first found her website and she seriously delivered for us. Thank you Kim for being so amazing to work with, for keeping the mood light and fun, and for giving us a beautiful memory of our wedding. I can't wait to do some anniversary shots with you in the next couple years :)

pher. Kim made us feel comfortable in front of the camera with her down-to-earth demeanor and sense of humor, and she was great in guiding us to form the right poses. We had such a great time together and it shines through in the photos. I am so excited to put an album together, as every photo is breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you Kim for capturing our special day! We adore you!

them often. Every day, every moment, every detail is important to Kim. Thank you, Kim, for sharing the blessing of your amazing talent with us. Sara & Matt ~9.9.17

our wedding day; the moment, the beautiful scenery and all of our guests were captured in photographs that we will enjoy for our lifetime. Kim had people laughing, made it easy to get all the photos we wanted and she took the whole event completely seriously (while still having fun with us!). Thank you for everything, Kim. The photos you took make me feel so great...like I had an extra pair of eyes on our very busy wedding day.

t and wedding photos. They were incredible. She's super flexible, works with you, knows her stuff, and has such an eye for an amazing shot!

right angle or getting the important things made everything so smooth. Before the wedding she really took the time to get to know me, my personality and what I would want. I highly recommend her for any bride to be.

h us and for driving over to Seattle at no extra charge. I'm not the biggest fan of taking professional photos, but Kim made the process simple, easy and FUN! She made my husband and I feel super comfortable and we absolutely loved how all our photos turned out! She captured every moment and we had a difficult time narrowing down to our favorite photos for our album. :) She's an amazing photographer and an even more amazing person - don't hesitate to reach out to book her. You definitely won't regret it!

get we were not going to be able to afford it. Or so we thought. She emailed us and we worked out the cheapest package and payment deals so I was able to have her. She showed up early, had a second shooter, was very professional and worked hard to get pictures I enjoyed. She took her time and cared about the details. Very satisfied!
