I had alteration work done here and it was spectacular! She helped me redesign and make my mom's wedding dress way smaller!
Love it!
Kim did an amazing job altering my dress. I also bought my veil (for 130 I think). She was very quick to finish the dress and it looked beautiful. I did think the alterations were a little expensive, 300 for taking it up about 12 inches, putting on a bussle, and fixing 3 broken loops on the back but she did a great job and I would go back to her in a heartbeat.
Walking into Kim Kriner's is not like walking in to other bridal stores. There is no nice bottle of water or personalized service. What there is, however, is a seemingly warehouse size selection of great dresses at affordable prizes. I found a beautiful dress there, and they also altered it for me at a very reasonable price. I was initially intimidated by the size of the place and the number of dresses, but once I got over that, I was able to find my perfect dress.
I bought my wedding dress at Kim Kriner's. They have a HUGE selection of dresses including a lot of sale/clearance dresses. Even the dresses you have to order are definitely in a very reasonable price range. I ordered my dress, and it came in on time and in the correct size, and the seamstress did a wonderful job on the alterations. The only reason I wouldn't give them five stars is that the shopping experience isn't the best - the store isn't in the nicest building, and the store is a little run down. However if you can get past that, you will get a great dress at a good price.
I did not want a traditional dress. I wanted something that reflected my personality, and they had an amazing selection! My dress was technically a bridesmaid dress, but it was stunning! Chocolate brown with a persimmon sash and I paid under 300 for the dress and alterations! The service was great, not pushy at all, unlike "other" stores where you are barely allowed to shop without a consultant. I hate being pressured, and Kim's did not make me feel that way at all. I did think the alterations were a little bit pricey for what they had to do (which wasn't much), but considering that the dress was $220, I still had it done. Overall, a great experience!
This was the first bridal boutique I went to, and I just so happened to find my wedding dress here! The place looks a bit creepy and run-down, but their gowns are beautiful. My dress was exactly what I was looking for, and they gave me a discount on it too!
My dress needed to be shortened, but I did not have it done there, so I don't know how well they do in that area.
I found my dream dress at Kim's only thing it didnt have was a lace up back. She put it on for me and did an amazing job it looked like it came that way from the factory. Only thing I recommend is trying the dress on before you leave because the panel she gave me for my dress was the wrong one and I had to go back. but it turned out beautiful and I loved it!
My mom and I, dress shopped for quite some time to find "the prefect" one. I am not a stick thin person, not a plus size. I consider myself average. However, every time we went dress shopping they NEVER had a dress that fit me right, which made it difficult to find "the one." I'm not really a fan of shopping, so dress shopping was a stressful event. When we walked into Kim's we enjoyed shopping. First we went through and were allowed to pick out as many dresses as we wanted. I picked out several. Then she brought them to try on for us, which was a totally new experience because she had dresses in ALL sizes. I ended up trying on a dress I had several times tried on, but was unsure because they were too small. At Kim's it fit perfectly! We then went to order the dress, I had just half mentioned a sale another shop was having, and she gave us their price. The employees were so helpful! Then we ordered bridesmaid dresses from there, did alterations and got the guys tuxes all from their shop. I went in several times and the employees would remember me. I enjoyed how personal they were. They also did a great job altering my dress and triple checked to make sure it was the right size, because I lost 25lbs between the time I bought the dress and needed to wear it, and then another couple between alterations and the day. They still made sure the dress fit me perfectly like it did the day I tried it on. They also gave me hints to help with busseling the dress for the day.
