finding vendors that we wouldn't meet until the day of. I found Kim via the Knot, and my only hesitation in contacting her was that she is based in Marquette, and I didn't think she'd be willing to travel to TC. I was very pleasantly surprised when not only was she willing to travel, but she did so for a super reasonable fee! Kim's photo package included engagement photos, which we didn't think we'd get to take advantage of being so far away. However, Kim worked with us to meet up in my hometown of Manistique on the one weekend we were in Michigan before the wedding, which is just one example of how she went above and beyond for us. In taking our engagement photos, she provided great direction and ultimately had a lot of fun with us. Neither of us was initially super comfortable in front of the camera, but Kim guided us and got a lot of great shots. Not only were we super happy to have those photos, but we also were glad to feel much more at ease with having our photos taken on our wedding day. The day of the wedding, Kim was phenomenal. She had previously sent a very detailed form (which actually helped a lot in planning out the entire day/night), so she knew where to be and which photos to get. She never needed direction from us - she actually provided it and kept us moving throughout the day. Most important of all, we LOVE our photos from Kim. She captured beautiful, fun memories that we'll cherish forever. I cannot recommend her enough for your wedding or special event.
