Kim is an awesome wedding planner! With her help, our daughter's wedding was perfect! Kim guided us through the process and connected us with the best vendors! She also helped us find and create the special touches that made the wedding personal and memorable. It was a lot of fun working with Kim--she turned into a trusted friend who took all the worry away and allowed us all to enjoy the magical day!

Kim Newton is an actual super hero. Our wedding day was completely stress free because of her and her assistant. She is kind and patient and can roll with any situation. As weddings go, there were hurdles but she handled them with grace and assertiveness to make our day the best day of our lives. I cannot thank Kim Newton enough.

Kim is the absolute sweetest! We hired her for our day of coordination and there is no way we could have done it without her! I had so many questions leading up to the big day and she had no problem answering every single one of them. Our venue is a location that she's worked at plenty of times and she still made it feel so special for us. I can say honestly that our big day would not have been as smooth and lovely as it was without Kim Newton and her team. I hired Kim for month-of and day-of service with a touch of design help and she went above and beyond what I expected of her. I planned our wedding from across the country, and Kim was exactly what I needed to ease the stress of not being physically near my venue/vendors during the planning process. I was able to send all of my decoration items to her prior to the wedding, and trusted her eye-for-design to set them up. SO glad I did! Everything looked absolutely phenomenal down to the folding of our napkins at each place setting. Kim was also an angel in ensuring no detail was overlooked. I even forgot an item for our guestbook in my hotel room, and her assistant drove all the way to my hotel to get it! Kim seamlessly made sure the schedule was kept and she was the calm presence I needed during our hectic & exciting day. Overall, I can't recommend her enough. Trust me, you need a Kim Newton on your wedding day!! Thank you, Kim, for helping to make our day spectacular.

We hired Kim for the full service wedding planning and it was the best decision I could've made for my wedding. Throughout the whole wedding process, she was responsive, organized, and beyond helpful. I had multiple "panic" moments where I would frantically reach out to Kim and she put me at ease every time. She also got me the best vendors and every one of them did an amazing job. As a very indecisive person, she kept me in line and was always super creative with ideas according to the vibe that I was looking to create. The day of the wedding, I was surprisingly calm (which I did not expect to be at all) and it was all because of Kim and her team. The day and everything about the wedding was PERFECT because of her attention to detail and expertise. She exceeded my expectations - made sure everything went smoothly and was there every step of the way for my guests and I. It was the wedding of my dreams and I thank Kim and her team for that! I wish I could relive the day over and over again.

Everything on our wedding day ran so smoothly and that is 1000% because of Kim. She handled a difficult vendor of ours with so much grace and in a way that left me with zero stress. She was so professional and polite and I had so many guests comment on how wonderful she was. Our wedding would have been so different without Kim and my husband and I talk about how much of our day we were able to enjoy stress free because of her. I could not think of a better person to trust with such a big moment and she absolutely exceeded my expectations (and honestly is just such a nice, beautiful person!)

I hired Kim to be our day/month of coordinator. I planned our somewhat DIY wedding in MD from IL and she was so helpful from beginning to end, always available by email to provide recommendations and give her honest, professional opinion. She is super knowledgeable, friendly, and definitely a pro. I'm sure something went wrong on wedding day, but nothing that I'm aware of or noticed and I'm sure that is all thanks to Kim. Kim is an old friend and made my wedding day such a breeze! She was a fabulous month/day of coordinator and made all of the final wedding details come together perfectly. She offers solid support and promises seamless organization so that on the wedding day you don't have to worry about a thing. Kim was so great to work through the planning process with, even when I would be stressed or picky about little things. Even though my wedding was almost two years ago (sorry for the late review Kim!) I still cherish that day and was so grateful for her presence the day of- it couldn't have happened without her!

We hired Kim as our full service planner about two years out from our wedding date, and we're so glad we did! She made the planning process so easy, which I am grateful for since I was a busy law student at the time. Kim was super responsive to all of our questions and really understood what we wanted in terms of the flow/look of the wedding reception. Her vendor contacts were all amazing and a joy to work with. And importantly, Kim was very conscious of our budget. In the end, our wedding was absolutely incredible. We highly recommend Kim Newton!

Kim Newton is an amazing wedding planner! I'm not the easiest of clients and she gracefully worked with me through many indecisive moments, helping me choose awesome vendors and working with a pain in the butt venue! She's thoughtful, organized, and super pleasant to work with. She's creative yet never imposing her vision over yours. She's patient and supportive. Most importantly she understood what an important day this was for me and worked so hard to make it perfect! Hands down, Kim is incredible!

My daughter’s wedding this past weekend (Georgetown U Dahlgren Chapel with reception at The DuPont Circle Hotel) was absolutely flawless. Kim and her assistant Diane quietly, firmly, but unobtrusively attended to every little detail of a fairly complex event. Guests and vendors fell into the plan without even realizing they were being directed. Since this was a destination event for a bride and groom and families who reside in the NYC/NJ area, Kim was especially helpful in ensuring success given challenging logistics. Her recommendations of vendors were equally valuable. The band was superb and kept the event jumping and the florist executed flowers for the reception exactly as the couple envisioned. Don’t underestimate how critical it is to have someone like Kim managing your event. Thank you, thank you, Kim! For the nonstop smiles on the happy couple and the amazement on the faces of the ~170 guests who enjoyed the celebration.

Simply put, if you want your wedding to go perfectly, you NEED to hire Kim Newton!!! It was one of the best choices I made during my wedding planning, and I am so thankful for the guidance, assistance, and overall amazingness that she provided me! Kim has impeccable taste and is always keeping on top with the top trends in the industry, and she also makes sure to keep your wedding personal and about you. Her work is constantly being published in local and national publications - her eye for design is exquisite! She also gave me so much help when it came to the day of my wedding and my timeline, and came to the rescue by reaching out to my vendors and moving things around to help me have the day I had imagined having. The day of the wedding, she was A DREAM. My whole family is still raving about how wonderful and pleasant she was, and how on top of every single little detail she was. She is the perfect mix of assertive and cheerful, which is exactly what you need on your wedding day. I have recommended her to many brides that I have gotten the chance to speak with, and when I have met people that have worked with her, we all are able to rant and rave about how amazing she is. I am so glad that I got the chance to work with Kim, and I am so glad I have her in my life!!

Kim Newton was great to work with as our day of coordinator for our wedding! Outstanding! Choosing Kim as our day-of coordinator was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. Kim was super organized, kind, and responsive. She soothed our wedding anxiety and went above and beyond the basic package we had paid for, offering to meet with us early. The best thing about Kim is her wealth of experience; she knew what to anticipate in every aspect of our wedding, so she knew exactly what questions to ask. Because of Kim, we could actually enjoy our wedding! She's amazing. Book Kim before everyone else in the DC area finds out about her!!!!

We currently are working with Kim for our full service planning. Being a Type-A person, I thought me and my fiance wouldn't need any type of service for our wedding and we would forego a wedding planner -that was until we met with Kim. Our wedding isn't until next month, but I can keep continuing to boast about Kim because that's how great she is. She is very realistic and practical with her opinions, and is able to work with you on your budget. She's definitely a Ying to our Yang, and we are unbelievably thankful for her to be part of our most important day!

If the stars rating went beyond five, then Kim would get it. Kim is not only there for you, but she makes you aware of every detail in a way that only an experienced and attentive professional could. At the same time, Kim will both make you feel confident about the wedding and more involved in making sure every part of your day is perfect. Kim is the best. We can’t speak more highly of Kim and her work. We hired Kim as our day-of coordinator after friend advised us we should get one. (They were right!) Kim went out of her way to make sure our day perfect -- not a small feat given we had a lot of guests and some unique traditions we wanted to include. She helped coordinate our vendors and timeline long before our wedding day, and pulled off day-of changes without missing a beat. Throughout the entire process, she always addressed our concerns with a smile and did her best to make any request happen. She even picked up some of the decor a few days in advance so we wouldn’t have to stress as much AND went out of her way to track down my wedding shoes after they went missing after the reception. I was so appreciative. I’d recommend Kim to anyone getting married in the area. She was great!!

Of all of the decisions we made regarding our wedding, choosing Kim Newton Weddings was by far the best one. We selected the "full planning" package and it was worth every dime! Kim is extremely responsive, meticulously organized and was absolutely committed to ensuring we were comfortable each step of the way. As a professional couple with busy schedules, we simply didn't have time to manage the countless logistical details that come with planning a wedding. Staying within our budget, Kim provided us with options for possible vendors, set-up all introductory meetings, negotiated on pricing and facilitated the contract process. From beginning to end, Kim effortlessly worked as our go-between with all of the vendors. We took great comfort in knowing that Kim was running-point on everything. I hired Kim for her full-service wedding planning and it was by far the BEST decision I made about my wedding. From our first meeting to the bittersweet ending of my wedding she went above and beyond in ensuring it truly was the best day ever. She helped me find the best vendors, was always available (even responding to my midnight 'panic' e-mails) and could, and did handle any request and question with a calmness that eased any nerve remaining. She thought of EVERY detail and kept me on my toes without stressing me out. My family lives out of state and were not involved in the wedding planning process but Kim filled their shoes with her planning skills and friendship. The day of the wedding was flawless, and everyone kept commenting on how awesome Kim was! I don't think I ever saw her stand still, nor without a big smile on her face! She truly is a gem in the wedding planning industry and there are not enough nice things to say about her. She makes me want to get married every year!

Kim helped me plan my wedding in less than 4 months! I had no idea how much work and detail goes into planning a wedding. She helped guide me through the process and had plenty of contacts and vendors to choose from. She was patient and rolled with interesting dynamics of our wedding. There is a lot of trust that has to go into relationship between a bride and a wedding planner. On my wedding day, everything turned out better than I ever could have expected and Kim is to thank for that.

Kim was hired as a "day of" coordinator, but she was there for me for the whole month leading up to my wedding! She made sure to coordinate everything with my vendors and was literally there ANY time I needed her to talk me through a problem or give ideas. Kim was so generous with providing recommendations for vendors and I used 3 she suggested. All 3 were incredible.

From my first phone call (Kim actually answered after work hours), I knew she was reliable and genuine. I trusted her with every detail of my wedding and she not only delivered, but she came up with amazing ideas and suggestions. She has such a vast range of vendors that she has personally vetted, I could trust her recommendation every time. Looking back, I'm so thankful we found her, because my wedding day would not have been my dream wedding if it wasn't for her!!

Kim Newton was amazing. She helped us every step in the wedding planning process and we could not have had the wedding we did without her. She was very organized the entire time and had many creative ideas. Kim even met with us several times before the wedding, including twice at the venue itself to make sure everything was perfectly planned for the event. On the day of the wedding, I cannot express how great she was. She had everything under control. When something went slightly out of order (our shuttles were running late to pick up the guests), my sister was starting to get stressed, but Kim took over and was perfectly calm figuring out what was happening and how to correct it. Kim also did all our flower arrangements. We just ordered them online and she made the arrangements herself instead of us paying for a florist. They turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the wedding and she saved us so much money. We highly recommend Kim Newton.

Kim has been so helpful in my planning process thus far. Her advice has lead me to a great dress shop and photographer that i would have never found without her advice and knowlege of the industry! Kim is very knowledgable about different venues in the area and average prices. Shes very responsive and quick to email back and is willing to help out however she can! She truely is a gem! I would recommend her services to any of my area friends looking for a planner!

Kim Newton Weddings was phenomenal. From the planning stages to clean-up after the reception it was so comforting knowing that she was there and that everything was taken care of. While finalizing details and the day of schedule Kim was a great sounding board and came up with many extra suggestions to make projects easier or come together more cohesively. She would send me pictures of ideas I described so that my ideas came to life. I decided not to hire a florist and do the flower arrangements myself (yes, I'm crazy), this left Kim in charge of setting up and decorating the whole venue in addition to keeping track of all the other vendors setting up and ensuring our pictures were kept on schedule. She showed up an hour ahead of our agreed upon time to ensure that everything ran as smoothly as possible and that was a huge help. Everything looked absolutely beautiful at the reception site. During the event, Kim was the epitome of cool, calm, and collected. I didn't have to worry about a thing! After the wedding, she helped load up my parents car and even helped them unload the car at their house that night. They can't stop singing her praises :)
