to the size of my wedding party, she brought another stylist with her. All of my bridesmaids looked beautiful! They worked quickly as well without sacrificing quality. I loved the way Kim made my hair and makeup look. I had one tweak to my hair I requested from my trial, and she was able to accommodate perfectly. Everything held perfectly throughout the day. Kim was also so fun to have with us while we were getting ready. I highly recommend her to any bride.

maids LOVED the way Kim did my maid of honors eye shadow that she decided last minute that she too wanted to get her makeup done and Kim did not bat an eye, she said of course and did her eye shadow. She is truly an artist everyone look beautiful and she did not leave until everyone got touched up before photos. I highly recommend Kim for wedding day makeup!!

many stylists can work with my hair because of its thickness but Kim had no problem. She was also wonderful to have with us in the morning! She and her team were laughing and joking with us all morning and arrived early and prepared! Cannot praise her enough!

I prefer the airbrush makeup, it lasts all day and then some, plus she gives you the lip color to take with so you can touch up throughout the day. Each time I am so incredibly pleased with my makeup. Even by the end of the night after dancing, I still look amazing! And the eyelashes never fall off! My Mom used her for the airbrush and she loved it! I cannot stress enough of what a beautiful job she did on my own wedding day. She made me look flawless. I looked natural and beautiful - just what I wanted!! Kim is the only person I would ever hire to do my makeup professionally. Not to mention her resume of past experience doing makeup in LA puts her above the rest of anyone else out there! Kim is a MUST have on your wedding day!!!!

good. So when I got engaged, I knew immediately that I wanted to use Kim Piech as my Hair Stylist for my wedding. I had previously been the Maid of Honor in a wedding that Kim was the Hair Stylist for, and I knew firsthand what an amazing job she does at making your hair look amazing (and in turn you FEEL amazing), and Kim certainly did not disappoint for my wedding day. Kim was prompt in her response to my request for availability on my wedding date and extremely communicative throughout the whole process. I had a hair trial a few months out from my wedding day, which was so helpful to try out what I had been thinking I wanted my style to be. She came to my house, discussed what my style ides were, and just hung out and talked as she worked on my hair. On the day of my wedding, I had decided to make a few adjustments to what we had done in my trial, and it was like Kim had read my mind - it turned out EXACTLY as I had hoped for my special day. AND it lasted all day - which for a half up, half down curly style can be tricky, but not for Kim. She even re-curled several pieces for me before she left to ensure that my hair was perfect. As a gift to my bridesmaids, I paid to have Kim do their hair as well, and not only did they all look amazing, their styles lasted all day/night as well! I felt like a princess on my wedding day, and that is due, in huge part, to Kim. I highly recommend Kim Piech to any Chicagoland area bride. She is friendly, easy to talk to, listens to your ideas and concerns, and delivers an amazing end product that WILL last your WHOLE wedding day.

air and make-up artist for my May 7, 2016 wedding and found her on the Knot. After reading many good reviews, I decided to go with her. WOW she did an incredible job!!! I had a trial run and she listened to exactly what I wanted and captured the look perfectly. Somehow she did an even better job for the day of. I absolutely loved how I looked and I felt so beautiful. She somehow managed to get myself, my mother, and my 7 bridesmaids' hair and make-up done (with the help of an assistant) in just a few hours. Everyone was ready on time and all the girls loved the way they looked. My hair and make-up lasted all day, even after several hours of dancing and celebrating. I cannot recommend Kim highly enough! She was wonderful and so fun to work with!!!

contract her for my wedding day. Kim was very flexible in coordinating a makeup trial. The cost of the trial was fair and a portion of it went towards my personal makeup deposit. She came to my house and I was able to get the exact look I wanted. She offered to do hair as well but I already had a family friend set for the task. She offered both traditional and air brushed looks. As the bride, I opted for air brushed which turned out amazing in photos. I also loved the lashes she used. She placed little bunches on my lash line. They were barely noticeable, looked more natural, and were extremely comfortable. She was a lovely personality and easy to get along with. She is versatile in her style so if you want simplistic beauty for your big day or want to be so dolled up that no one recognizes you, she can do the job. My bridal party loved her work as well. She was efficient in completing all our makeup in time (6 total). Overall, I would highly recommend her!

I felt very confident in her and was really excited to have her for my wedding day. On the day of the wedding, she was right on time and did hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, Mom and I.
