step-daughters to-be were immediately barked at by Kim for getting in her way while she was doing moms makeup. We communicated to her that we were super laid back about getting our hair and makeup done by her assistant- we had all come pretty much ready anyways and wanted to have some sweet mother daughter time before the wedding. Whenever the assistant finished a girls touchups, Kim shouted at the room and chastised us for being unorganized when we didn't respond to her in the same second. I had been a wedding planner for years before and I have never witnessed such foul behavior from a wedding makeup artist. This was the last straw from me so I got up and told her the shouting was unacceptable and we were here to have a beautiful day and the makeup was not the priority. my moms hair and makeup was only half done (after 1.5 hours I might add) and she threatened to walk out of the room without finishing if I did not stop "interrupting her work". I'm not one for negative reviews but this experience was shocking to say the least and I just don't want any other brides having this same experience.

ed that this is her "day rate" and she never charges less than that, despite what she originally told me. I told her that this was out of my budget and I could not pay that much since that is not what we originally agreed upon and asked for my deposit back so I could pursue other options. She refused to return the deposit, despite not having any contract or anything in black and white stating it is non-refundable. So I was stuck with using her to avoid throwing that money down the drain. The day of, she arrived late. Then, she spent the entire time talking about herself and asking us to vote for her in a local makeup artist ranking, before we had even begun makeup. Once we had finished, my bridesmaids had to almost force her out of the hotel room so that they could get ready for the ceremony. When we were leaving the lobby of the hotel, she was there taking pictures of us without our permission. Then, she went so far as to get into the limo with us when we were leaving for the church! Thankfully the limo driver made her leave. I would never work with her again! She caused the biggest problems on my wedding day!
