I don't think I have enough words to describe how perfect this place was- it was everything we wanted and then some. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and was the perfect place for our colorful October wedding. Dawn was amazing and was there for us every step of the way. She always was on top of answering any of our questions, gave us great recommendations, and just went above and beyond. She even stepped up and helped us out day of when one of our vendors didn't show up. She is great and honestly one of things that sold Kimball Jenkins to us. When we were looking at venues we were struggling to find a place that would not only allow us the flexibility and freedom that we wanted, but that would also answer our questions and just get back to us. We just stumbled upon this gem of a place and honestly we were not expecting to hear back based on how our search had been going. Dawn answered me and all our questions within about an hour or so of first contacting her. We scheduled a tour, fell in love, and booked shortly after. Because we had flexibility in our vendors we were able to have our dream wedding. Both parties were able to get ready on site which was amazing, we had the ability to use the entire property which allowed us to really make it ours. Overall it was just the perfect place to get married and we cannot recommend Kimball Jenkins enough.
So in all honesty my husband I weren’t officially engaged until we took a tour of Kimball Jenkins. We knew we wanted to get married and when but he had not gotten an engagement ring or “asked” I got an ad for Kimball Jenkins and was stunned something that seemed so beautiful was here in town. Then after a family vacation we took a tour and almost immediately decided we wanted to be married there. The antique aesthetic, the dark patio outside the mansion and the big beautiful barn doors in the carriage house made us sure we wanted to be married and that we wanted it to be there. We put in the deposit and started working with Dawn that day. Despite the current events we were able to make our Hallowedding dreams come true at Kimball Jenkins, this venue was the perfect back drop for our dark romantic theme. The tented area our reception was in was perfect to distance tables and a buffet as was needed. And our ceremony in the carriage house was something I will cherish for the rest of my life it was absolutely beautiful. Dawn was so on it and easy to work with, she rolled along with all the punches this year threw us and still helped me make our wedding better than I could have ever imagined. I cannot thank her enough for all she did to help make our day special!
This review is a way overdue but necessary. The Kimball Jenkins Estate was everything I could have hoped for for my wedding and more. Dawn was absolutely amazing and so easy to work with. She had answers to every question, made stellar recommendations and was always there to assist when needed. She made sure everything went smoothly leading up to the event and was there the day-of. The whole property was ours for the day and I loved the flexibility of vendors. When we first started looking at venues, we knew that we wanted flexibility and the Kimball Jenkins Estate offered that. We were able to get ready on-site, and make the entire property ours for the day (my photographer even dragged me to the attic!). She even let us use the carriage house oven when there was a cookie emergency. :) The grounds were beautifully maintained and my guests were raving of the beauty of the property. I cannot say enough good things about Dawn and the Kimball Jenkins Estate and would recommend to anyone!
The venue is really beautiful and you can choose how you want to set up the space. We had the property all day, and it was nice to have the guys in the carriage house and the ladies getting ready in the mansion. Dawn is wonderful as well! She is really available and helpful. She was there all day long to help with everything and anything that we needed.
I fell in love with the Kimball-Jenkins Estate as soon as I walked in. We were looking for an original venue with charm. We were also looking for a place where we could have the ceremony and the reception without having to travel between sites and this was the perfect place. What we didn't know was that all this came with Dawn included. We didn't have a wedding coordinator and with Dawn we didn't need one. She kept us both on track, and provided guidance throughout, all with a beautiful smile and a lot of patience. She's made for that job.
It is wonderful how all this place came to life on the day of our wedding. We decorated the mansion to appear as our own home with tons of family pictures. We held the reception at the carriage house, and danced away. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you are looking to get married in a place that does not fit the cookie cutter mold other venues do, look no more. You can transform this place into a unique magical venue without much work.
Kimball Jenkins was the perfect spot for our large outdoor wedding. The grounds were beautiful, there was plenty of parking and my guests had lots of space to explore. In addition, the Kimball Jenkins staff (Dawn) was amazing and was helpful every step of the way. I can't say enough good things about Kimball Jenkins!
My husband and I made it our mission to find a unique wedding venue in NH that was interesting, had character, and had the flexibility to customize our wedding exactly to our liking. The Kimball Jenkins Estate fit all of this criteria and more! Dawn could not have possibly been more helpful, and aside from her expertise she is truly a gem of a woman!
The charm of the Estate is overwhelming- and I have the pictures to prove it! It served as such a romantic and charming back drop for our June wedding. Guests were raving about how impressed we were with finding such a great venue that wasn't your generic "cookie cutter" venue.
It truly fit in with our personality and given the chance to go back and do it all again, we wouldn't change one thing!
I have attended many events at Kimball Jenkins, and I love the property so much - the Mansion is gorgeous with marble fireplaces and hand carved wood details, it is a really nice place for guests
The property can have a big tent if you need it and it's right downtown in Concord so guests can go shopping or walk to hotels easily. Best kept secret in Concord!
We booked the Estate for our wedding to be held in June 2012. Upon the first visit we were told we would have access to the facilities the Friday night before to have our rehearsal and to decorate. We questioned our contract when it was received because it didn't include the Friday set-up and were told it was not an issue and that was standard procedure to have access the day before. Now, three months before our wedding we were told through our caterer that another event has been booked and we have no access to the Estate until the MORNING of our wedding. When we contacted the Kimball Jenkins Event Coordinator - we were told too bad, our contract is for Saturday only! Would have NEVER given a deposit or booked if we had been told there was any possibility of not having access the night before. Nice way of doing business Kimball Jenkins!!!!
Helped us plan our venue change in TWO DAYS! Beutiful buildings and gardens.
