he was very rude during our wedding unprofessional talking bad about us to our DJ in front of our guests was extremely embarrassed the only reason we hired him was because of the reviews which I feel is very unprofessional to offer discounts for good reviews that is very deceiving to us as a bride and groom. 1. "OFFICIANT was LATE, did not start on time".{simply untrue). - Reverend Richard arrived 35 minutes early and was told by your groom that you were not ready. Thus, because of you running late, the wedding started late. He used that time to do a short review with everyone and take pics of the Venue and Ceremony Area. The time stamps on our pics prove the statement above.
2. "Officiant was Very Rude & unprofessional."
IF true, How is it possible that many of the bride and groom's guests came up to Rev. Richard after the ceremony, and thanked him for all the "Extras" -- Staging everyone in the Bridal party, Mini-Rehearsal, Posing everyone for Group shots and Beautiful Wedding Photos, First Dance, and countless extra things he did for this couple?
3. "Discounts for Reviews" - Our Wedding Contract, states that Pics and Videos, (if desired) are Additional Fees. (This is stated in (2) places). Bride and groom signed off -- indicating acceptance of our simple, 1 page contract. Our Fees are Reasonable, much lower than some Officiants, Photographers and Videographers. However, Tina, you made it quite clear to us 4 weeks after your ceremony, that if you did not receive them for free you would leave terrible reviews and "ruin our reputation". We will not be threatened, manipulated, or bullied.
4. Dishonesty about Payment - "Rev Richard embarrassed us talking bad to our DJ in front of our guests". In talking with the DJ in general conversations about your wedding, and with no guests present, we discussed mutual concerns.Our contract states that when someone hires us, a Retainer is due to hold the date on our calendar. The Balance is due in Full, (upon our arrival at the Venue). Unfortunately when Rev. Richard arrived, Tina told him that they didn't have the Fee! That he would have to wait until they received enough cards from the guests during the reception to pay us.. It took well over two hours into the reception before he got paid. It was very distressing to have to wait around for more than 2 hours, a complete mis-representation on the Bride's part.
+(Yet despite it all, he maintained his composure and professionalism, even getting more compliments from various guests.)
After celebrating more than 1200 weddings, We try our best, for every couple. Sometimes, no matter what you do as an Officiant, someone will not be satisfied. I think this is one of those rare encounters. Tina, we are so sorry you were not happy. We respectfully disagree with your version of events, and are so sorry things didn't work out to your satisfaction. . The whole process right from the beginning was so easy. Her and her husband Richard got right back to us and made everything so easy and smooth! Actually i was so nervous about the ceremony, untill i spoke with her! She eased my mind and I had no more concerns.

Richard spoke to us before the ceremony and helped to guide us through the process at the alter. He put his own touches into the ceremony, and helped mine come to life as well as an officiant. nt. To start, our initial officiant canceled on us the night before we were expected to marry! Yes, the night before - unbelievable but true. So, my husband and I spent the entire evening in absolute distress while anxiously searching for someone to marry us. As horrible as this was, there was one blessing that came from this, and it was indeed "Kimberlys Blessing".
They responded to our request within 40 minutes of contacting them online and it was magic from there. Reverend Richard proceeded to call and speak to us in an effort to get to know us better. He asked important questions about our relationship and took his time speaking with us while listening attentively and writing notes. We wanted to include specific vows of love in our ceremony and ultimately, Rev. Richard produced beautiful vows that incorporated a love story of how we met and where we are now (some humor included). Flash forward a couple hours later and we were married!
Rev. Richard is a good man, kind, patient, and professional. His rates are incredibly reasonable and he did not price gauge us by charging an extra fee for the last minute request. He arrived early to the wedding site and walked around looking for the most scenic spot to marry us. To our surprise, Rev Richard provided a glass jar of homemade hot pepper sauce that he just finished making at home. It was delicious! What a kind and thoughtful gesture!
Marrying during a pandemic isn't easy but Rev. Richard made it seamless and fun. I'm still in awe of how this all came together - literally last second, but If you want to get married and need an excellent officiant that will not disappoint, then Kimberlys Blessings are the ones for you. Getting married is one of the most important days of someone's life, and we would not be married without him! Thank you a million times over, Rev. Richard. We are forever grateful!
