Whether your event is in New Orleans, as far east as Lake Charles, or a destination wedding in Many, Louisiana, I will deliver! Creations can be made to duplicate designs and coordinate with the colors and styles of your event and can be made with buttercream, fondant or both. I specialize in gum paste flowers that are created by hand and hand painted with detail to look life-like. We also provide 3-D cakes and spherical cakes. Growing up in Southwest Louisiana, Kim developed a passion for baking while creating traditional Cajun desserts along side her mother and grandmother in the kitchen. This passion quickly grew into a love for the artistic side of cake design in high school. When not creating and designing, Kim enjoys spending time with family and friends. Kim is excited to provide quality work and delicious designs to new clients in the Morgan City areas as well as to those who already know and love her specialty cakes.

This cake was DELICIOUS. I actually cannot wait until our anniversary so that I can bust into the freezer stash! Wedding cake usually sucks, but our cake was SO good. So moist. Mmmm! She prepared several sampler versions for us until our flavor combos were just right. And her price was very affordable compared to other vendors. She was very accommodating, and she make a beautiful cake that fit perfectly with my vision! Would 100% use her again.

Wow. She was an absolute joy to work with. She was so helpful when we needed to add to our order one week before the wedding.
Guests asked where the cake was made because it was so delicious.

The best cake we have ever eaten and couldn't get enough of it! Kim was so easy to work with and accommodated us every step of the way! She was so professional and our guests couldn't stop raving at how good the cake was. She was able to capture my dream design and the fact it tasted so good was everything to me. Cannot recommend her enough plus her affordability to have our dream cake helped seal the deal!

Kim did an incredible job with our wedding cake and groom's cake. We stumbled upon her through a wedding show and after winning a groom's cake decided to also look into her wedding cakes. She has an extensive list of cake flavors and fillings, that really allow you to tailor it to your style. She went out of her way to accommodate us for a cake testing, and we were sold immediately! Thank you so much Kim for the entire experience, and we cannot wait to eat our cake topper on our one year anniversary (which she also provides!).

Our cake was absolutely stunning! We wanted a black cake with some lace designs on it and flowers, so it was a little unorthodox. We sent a picture of a cake that was similar to what we wanted. Kimbla nailed it, going so far as to arrange flowers from our florist onto the cake! The cake was perfect! It looked so beautiful and we got so many compliments on it. Not only that, the flavors of each tier were delicious. We chose cherry bourbon, chocolate raspberry, and a lemon flavor (sorry, we picked a long time ago). Suffice to say, they were incredible.
One of my favorite moments from that night was taking cake back up to our room and eating it on our bed, dead tired and starving. That cake hit the spot. Please consider Kimbla's Cakes if you're looking for a wedding cake. She can be a little hard to get ahold of sometimes, but it was so worth it!

She made a tug boat cake for my husbands grooms cake and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how realistic it looked. Also, couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the cake tasted! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a delicious and beautiful cake

I am extremely picky about my cakes, particularly the icing, and my husband really wanted a funfetti cake shaped like a hard hat and Kim did a fantastic job with both! I wanted a rather simple cake, with a small personal detail. It was absolutely beautiful and it tasted even better than it looked! She was extremely helpful and very accommodating, she was quick to respond to everything, and even met us almost an hour out of her way for us to get our cake samples. I cannot express how pleased my husband and I were with everything, and our guest are still asking us about the cake 3 months after the wedding. Absolutely fantastic all around!

Our wedding theme was tradition with a twist, so we went with an oval wedding cake and everyone love it! It was stunning and delicious. About a month before we asked her to put a fondant Golden Doodle in the back of our cake as if it were messing up the cake to represent our dog. My husband and I were so excited to see the dog, but it was not there :( She forgot it at her shop. We were very sad. Other than that mistake, we recommend!

Kim makes some AWESOME cakes. My wedding cake and grooms cake not only looked great, but also tasted fantastic! Everyone commented on our cakes and I was incredibly pleased with her work. She put so much detail into the cakes, which made it so great. She is very easy to work with, and she's so creative, and you can just tell she loves what she does. CHOOSE HER!
