I don’t want another bride to have to go through the stress I went through with my wedding dress. The staff were very nice; HOWEVER, I dropped my dress off almost 3 months before my wedding. My dress needed to be taken in some and hemmed. I was told my dress would be ready for my wedding. The communication with the owner was greatly lacking. I only would get updates about my dress if I called to ask. I wasn’t even called in for my next try in till about 2 months after I dropped it off. I wasn’t asked to come in a few times until about a week and a half before my wedding. I was asked to come in a week before my wedding and I assumed within the next few days I would leave with my dress. I was wrong. I wasn’t asked to come in again for my dress until 2 days before my wedding. When I went in my dress STILL was not completed. I was told latest case scenario I would have it the following day (that also did not happen). I was told to come in for 11 am the following day, that was dress would be done (this is now THE DAY BEFORE my wedding). I went in to get my dress and was told it STILL wasn’t done. I had rehearsal later that day and other last minute wedding errands to complete. It made my day incredibly stressful and frustrating. I did not get my dress until 3 pm the afternoon before my wedding and I had to call and ask if it was finally done-I was not updated. It’s almost as of people didn’t care that my wedding was the following day. I never want a bride to have to go what I went through. I was so stressed the day before my wedding and it made it very hard to enjoy that process.
