raphers. We were looking for someone who not only took gorgeous, bright photos but also someone we could personally connect to. As soon as we had our introductory call, we knew Kim was the one! She was so warm and thoughtful during our call - really trying to understand our love story and how we wanted our wedding to be like. I actually cried during our intro call - that's how safe I felt around her. About a couple months after we signed our contract, Kim reached out to schedule our engagement shoot. This is when my husband and I really got to connect with Kim and knew we 1000% made the right choice. Kim was super organized (which we loved) with scheduling the time, picking the location and coordinating the meet up. She made us feel so comfortable and she captured the most stunning photos. She kept us engaged and prompted questions and actions to make sure our engagement photos really captured who we were as a couple and didn't feel posed. She got to learn our goofy personalities and it was a great practice run for our big day. Now for our wedding ... omg I cannot put to words what amazing photos Kim and her team took. We just got our final gallery and it immediately brought us to tears. She was able to capture the perfect balance of posed photos but also candids. Her detail photos made it possible to re-live every moment of the day again. She also made sure we captured all our family portraits (even though they were super large). She truly felt like a best friend who was around during out most special day who just happened to also snap a lot of photos. Our bridal party loved having her around and we were all so comfortable. She made prepping for our wedding day as effortless and stress free as possible. Before our wedding we had calls to walk through our shot list, timelines. She was super engaged and organized - giving all the tips she could to keep us on track. She delivered our sneak peeks SO quickly. We had them a couple days after our wedding to enjoy and cry over them while we were on our honeymoon. She also delivered our final gallery within 2 months! I can't recommend Kim enough- she's not just a super talented photographer but she's also a beautiful soul who has truly become our friend through this whole process. She jumped at the idea of our NYC engagement session, scheduled us with a quick turnaround and scouted the perfect location. Kim truly has an amazing eye and can easily jump between finding the best candid, spur of the moment and natural photos but is able to get the more formal, traditional photos as well. We knew how amazing Kim was but our family, bridal party and guests solidified it. Still to this day they continue to rave about how special of a person and how talented of a photographer Kim. Kim is a total professional. She is proactive, timely and adaptable. She delivered us our sneak peeks in record time and we’re able to have to photos to gush over 72 hours later as we were on our honeymoon. Kim is a true talent and we absolutely loved working with her.

And 80% of the pictures you’ve seen are pretty much the same poses and staging - even if they’re technically well shot. Kim can do those things and she’ll do them very well. But what makes her unique is her ability to operate more like a documentarian. She’ll capture the emotion of the moments. When you look at your photos after the wedding, you’ll realize that you forgot so much as things flew by - and her pictures will bring it all flooding back. Instead of just seeing how everyone looked for a split second standing in a line, you’ll instead see beautiful, artistic photos of how everyone felt the during your entire celebration. Also, having seen a few weddings with overbearing photographers, I was at first curious about how she’d plan to blend in to the wedding so that no one felt “on display”. By the end of the night I had almost forgotten she was there - she was totally invisible but somehow managed to capture EVERYTHING that was happening. Finally, she’s a genuinely great person who put us completely at ease. She pays such close attention to who you are as a couple and by the time you’re at your wedding you feel like you have a trusted friend working with you. In short, our wedding was made so much better by working with Kim. The pictures we have are irreplaceable and will take us back to our wedding day and how we felt every time we look at them.

down. Kim is an absolute delight and SO talented. During the lead up to the wedding, she was so helpful and organized and communicated just the right amount. When a sudden thunderstorm hit our rehearsal dinner and brought us indoors, she adapted quickly and her positive energy kept both us calm. We also had pretty extreme heat on the big day and Kim - despite lugging around heavy camera equipment - worked so efficiently and did everything in her power to keep us comfortable. I don’t think we can ever thank her enough. Cut to ten months later and we were finally able to have our wedding celebration in Saratoga! Kim’s eye for detail is unbelievable. She is able to work in any environment, with any backdrop and snap the perfect picture. Nothing feels staged or fake. She’ll make you laugh, be at ease and most importantly, be in the moment. We had several conversations on what we wanted our day to look like - how much time we wanted to spend on pictures, etc. and Kim never strayed from that. She took all of the stress and chaos away, where we were able to relax, knowing that Kim had it under control. Everyone who came in contact with Kim that day - our parents, wedding party, guests - came up to Ryan and I singing Kim’s praises. im was so helpful with our planning and was very creative in suggesting shoot locations that felt like "us." She was incredibly flexible as we underwent the process of moving things around due to the pandemic, and she made us feel so safe and comfortable when we did finally have the chance to take engagement pictures. She doesn't really make it feel like you're doing a photoshoot...just like you're hanging out with your partner (but she happens to be there, taking BEAUTIFUL photos). At our small wedding, she and her wonderful assistant really made our day feel special. They nailed every shot on our list and still captured a ton of beautiful cameos, and they were especially fantastic when working with the small group of family in attendance, making everyone feel safe and comfortable with the COVID restrictions that were in place. On top of being a talented photographer, Kim is highly organized and communicative, which made the whole process of working together so seamless. Setting up time to talk to Kim was always so easy throughout the whole planning process and our initial talk was no different. We spoke for over an hour and I knew getting off the phone that I wanted Kim to be our photographer. We exchanged a ton of emails in the months following, and Kim was so supportive when we had to make the decision of postponing our big wedding to 2021 because of COVID. Kim was so flexible with everything we threw at her, which included our minimony in September. Having Kim in our corner to help us plan our 30 person event made me so excited to work with her for our 200 person event next year. The day of our minimony, Kim was absolutely amazing. She kept us on our planned timeline and made sure we got all the shots we wanted and more. Our families could not stop talking about how great Kim is. Kim sent us our sneak peek photos the same weekend and when I saw them I cried. The photos were absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to see the rest!
