We used King and Canvas for our 11/7/2025 wedding. The team was FANTASTIC from start to finish. We booked this service after being in our friends wedding who used Kaylon to coordinate. We were floored by not only her eye for detail, but personality and how great she was at directing the flow. She was efficient, personable, funny and calming. She handled stressful situations without the bride even sweating a thing. That’s when we knew we needed to book!
They think of every detail and it was a huge help. I had a hard time conceptualize the flow of the day - but they were there every step of the way.
Our day ended up going even better than I ever imagined and I am so grateful we went the extra mile to have them in our team. I felt so stress free the day of and the team was constantly checking on me and handing me water or a snack. I would highly recommend this service to anyone. Thank you King and Canvas!!! 🩷
I am so happy that we hired Kaylon King Design & Events as day of planners for my daughter's wedding. I have had two other weddings in the past 2 years. I know that the parents of the bride & groom have roles in the wedding. You don't want to be putting out fires when you are hosting and enjoying a huge milestone in your child's life. We had a church wedding with a coordinator at the church and our reception venue had their own coordinator, but we wanted someone who was managing the entire day. Kaylon and her team were amazing! They covered every little detail and managed the timeline like pros. They were handling some parking issues we had at the reception venue during the wedding ceremony. They helped make sure every little detail was set up at the reception and some special items we had for guests were placed correctly. They helped with the food for the bridal party during the getting ready phase and photographs. They made sure the groups were ready for the photographer to keep the day running smoothly and that we got all of the pictures we wanted on that special day! They were like an insurance policy for the whole event! They were so friendly and pleasant, we felt well cared for the entire day! I highly recommend Kaylon and her team! We are grateful they were part of an amazing event for my daughter's wedding!

Kaylon is a graduate of Ball State University where she received a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design and Property Management with a minor in Construction Management. Upon graduation, Kaylon has worked in multiple facets of design. She also started helping her friends with planning their big days! She fell in love with another facet of design and planning and has added event planning to her resume. Kaylon takes great pride in the work she creates and always strives to deliver an effective, focused, and on-budget design that fits the client’s needs
