y husband! When he saw the place we both immediately knew that it was where we wanted to get married. When booking the venue, it was not yet completed and I had all the faith in Annemarie and Jim that it would be as spectacular as the blueprints… AND IT WAS! When the big day arrived, Annemarie and Jim were were nothing short of wonderful - the place was beautiful and they were so accommodating to our weekend full of events. We wanted to do something different then the normal wedding weekend, with having a welcome party on Friday night and even having the rehearsal dinner on sight, followed by a breakfast the morning after our wedding. They fogged the place for bugs numerous times leading up to the big day, and made sure the place perfect. With all of the moving parts, Annemarie and Jim were so helpful the entire weekend. Everyone tells you to be prepared, that things will not always go your way, Annemarie and Jim ensure that your day runs as smoothly as possible and I truly cannot thank them enough for all of the behind the scenes work that they did to make sure our day ran smoothly. They did an amazing job of making sure everything was ready when we arrived, but also worked with us to make the event space ours and unique to what we wanted. With the polar barn being a blank slate, you really have the opportunity to make it yours! Knowing that we had a band coming in, KCF even made sure they hired an electrician to make sure they had enough support to host the band, as well as sound proofing the ceiling. They just went above and beyond in everything, and were very organized from the start! They also allowed us to stay in the house, which was incredible to have both families in there leading up to the wedding. It is clean, beautiful and was a great way to spend time as a family before the wedding and of course, solo on our wedding night! We couldn’t be more recommending of King Cole Farm, Annemarie, and Jim. I think overall yes, their venue is amazing, yes, they are extremely organized and communicate exceptionally well, BUT more importantly, they are incredibly nice and genuine people. We felt like we had known them for our entire lives and you could feel that they were invested in our wedding, just as much as we were. I feel like nowadays in the wedding industry, you don’t necessarily get that, but with Jim and Annemarie, they make you feel that from the moment you step foot on their beautiful 500 acre farm. That is what makes this place so special, the family bond they create with the bride and groom and of course, their families and guests. I would like to also give a special shout-out to our Band, Goody Blue Shoes Band, as well as our wonderful photographer, Chelsea Fluharty Photography and our officiant, Tom Robinson. Our day would not have been possible without the help of those that were behind the scenes. All in all, if you’re trying to make a decision to go with King Cole Farm, stop thinking and book. You will not find a sight that cares for you like King Cole does. From the rich history of the farm, the stunning views and the wonderful owners, you will not be disappointed. They truly helped us have the most memorable day of our lives and we are forever grateful for them! King Cole Farm, you will always hold a special place in our hearts!
