when the plants begin to bloom, and Kingan Gardens was no exception. The garden had was green with colorful flowers, perfect for our wedding. Sheila, the coordinator for Kingan Gardens, was extremely helpful and kind. She helped us make the day absolutely perfect. I particularly enjoyed getting ready in the carriage house and the arch-shaped hedge that we got married in front of, which was blooming orange and yellow flowers when we got married. To find such a hidden gem in the heart of the historic El Presidio neighborhood is amazing. I highly recommend Kingan Gardens as a venue for a wedding or other event, particularly in the spring when the garden is in bloom.

th fairly easy going and trusting. We trusted that when the package came with a photographer we were getting a professional wedding photographer. That is not what we got,unfortunately . I would 100 percent choose this venue again because Sheila was wonderful and the venue was beautiful. The dissapointment came when we got our pictures. We did not get any of the pictures that we asked for . For example , the photographer did not take one picture of my wife with our kids. That should be a pretty standard picture at a wedding. If we could go back we would have hired our own photographer. Just very dissapointing.

This year has been crazy for everyone, not only in the wedding industry but the whole country. #2020
Through all the planning during the pandemic Shelia (owner of Kingan Gardens) has been amazing with communication. My fiancé and I booked in January 2020 for a November 2020 wedding and we talked about our options (at different stages throughout the pandemic), planned on not postponing our wedding. Then my fiancé broke his ankle about a month before the wedding with surgery 15 days before the wedding. When I mentioned this to Sheila her first response was “Take care of him. We’ll figure out everything after he starts healing from surgery”. That spoke volumes to me in this business deal (as unromantic as that sounds, that is what a contract is). Sheila is a wonderful woman and very smart business owner. She allowed my fiancé and I to postpone and pick/hold a different date with no struggles/penalties/ect. She took care of notifying the other vendors and was very accommodating.
We look forward to finally celebrating on our new date. Thank you Sheila!

beyond for you, she pretty much asks you what you want and makes it happen! And she’s very good about making honest recommendations for any vendor. There really wasn’t much I had to worry about because I had her to rely on. She makes it all worth it, and Kingan would not be the same without her. If you’re thinking this might be the place for you, go take a tour, you will not be disappointed.

an immediate response. She advocated for our vision with all of the vendors as if it were her own big day. On the wedding day there was a rain downpour while we were at the ceremony offsite. Sheila ensured I had no idea and protected all our decor. Aubrey, our decorator with Eastland Alley arrived at the venue so early to make sure I didn't have to worry about a thing! She executed our personal touches for our 150 guests exactly how I wanted. Oh and did I mention how pretty and delicious our cake was! I can't recommend this venue enough.
