King's Pointe Resort

A beautiful venue with attentive staff. Great for a smaller wedding.

The service was good. They forgot to serve the fruit salad to the head table, but that is my only complaint about the food portion. The caterer was easy to get a hold of and was so kind and understanding how much stress I was under! She made my decision much easier. The food was delicious!

Jamie at King's Pointe went above and beyond to ensure that everything was right for our daughter's wedding reception. She planned a taste testing of the possible entrees from which to chose and went over every detail prior to the event. The meal was ready right on time, the servers cleaned our tables right away, and Jamie was right there to oversee everything. We are very happy with our experience at King's Pointe Resort in Storm Lake.

My husband and I met at King's Pointe Water Park, so naturally I wanted my reception at their ballroom! I'm happy to say that I absolutely loved my reception at King's Pointe!! They made all of dreams for a "perfect" wedding come true. I had specific ways I wanted the space decorated and foods served. I was allowed a free food testing to find the perfect meal. I wanted to bring my own desert in, which was no problem. I also had an idea to have a hot chocolate bar; King's Pointe made the idea come to life with hot chocolate and all the toppings. It was a big hit at my wedding! They also helped me decorate the space the day of the wedding and made sure that everything was the way I wanted it. When I didn't know what to choose or how to do something, they offered suggestions of what brides had done in the past or even how they did it at their own weddings. The staff brought cookies and pop to my parent's room so we could snack while getting everything ready for the big day. They also gave my husband and I a gift basket full of goodies, coffee cups, and champaign glasses that was waiting for us in our room when the night was over!! I couldn't have asked for a better place to have my reception! :) I would suggest King's Pointe to any bride hoping for a great wedding reception!!!!
