There was nothing egregiously wrong. He did mostly what I asked for. But "mostly" wasn't what I asked for. This was our wedding and I was responsible for the music and had a very specific plan which came with very specific instructions. He did a poor job calling the room to attention. Even with the benefit of a microphone, you couldn't really hear over the crowd. He was content to mumble in the background rather than command attention. When he announced that dinner was served, no one heard him. I shouted it out from the back of the room without a mic and people heard that. He was given specific instructions on several things that he got wrong. I asked to end each song completely before letting the next one start, like you are listening to tracks from an album, rather than mixing the two together with a sort of fade the way DJ's often do. I could tell he didn't feel that this was the best way but he did agree. What he infact did was something in between, which was not what I asked for. There were several announcements that he missed: the anniversary dance, the rememberance dance. He was asked not to move parts of the playlist based on special requests which he did. My wife also made it clear that I really preferred email communication to phone calls and he still asked to talk on the phone. It seemed clear to me that I asked for certain things that were different from how he normally did them. However they weren't difficult accommodations. I would have had a better day if I had just done this myself.

Kevin was very professional! We enjoyed every minute of his music! I hosted an event for my fellow clergy sisters AND everyone talked about how amazing Kevin was! The music was just right and fit the mood that I worked to set perfectly! I highly recommend Kevin!
