In the early stages of planning our wedding, I agonized over finding the perfect photographer. I wanted to find someone who was an artist and whose images resonated with me, but I also wanted a photographer who would vibe with me and my now-husband on our wedding day. When I found Kir and we spoke over Zoom, I knew immediately that we had to have her as our wedding photographer. Kir has the innate abilities to communicate effectively and efficiently, match your energy, be direct while being fun, and be hands on without being pushy. She was flexible on the day of our wedding, she jumped in and understood family sensitivities and concerns, she made us and our guests feel comfortable in front of the camera, and she handled rainy weather beautifully. Not only does she have an exceptionally artistic eye, but she is such a pleasure to work with on a personal level. I notoriously do not enjoy getting my picture taken, but Kir's lighthearted humor and kind spirit made me and my bridal party feel so relaxed and comfortable on my wedding day. Kir's photography package goes far beyond the expected job description. She packed my wedding day bag during the frenzy of getting ready, helped my husband tie his bowtie, and made our wedding day all the more fun. Kir is a Swiss army knife photographer, shooting high-quality and high-resolution photographs on her fancy camera, capturing sweet candid video moments on her phone, and snapping creative photos on her film camera. All the while, she managed to float around our ceremony and reception without feeling the least bit intrusive (not that Kir could ever intrude, she's a blast to work with). We are blown away and thrilled by the wedding gallery she delivered for us, and we cannot wait to frame her photos all over our home.

I cannot recommend Kir enough for any wedding photography needs! Kir captured our engagement shoot and both the photos and experience we had was incredible. During our shoot (an early morning with cold weather), Kir was cheerful, personable, laughed with us, and made us comfortable in front of the camera. The entire week afterward, I could barely wait to receive our photos because I knew they would be incredible based off of our shoot alone. We also received photos so quickly, which I really appreciate! Once I got the photos back, my jaw dropped (literally) so many times as I was scrolling through. These photos are so special - especially the cherry blossoms. We had an amazing time shooting the photos and the moments captured are a work of art. Whenever I have a need for photos in the future, I cannot wait to work with Kir again.

Kir was AMAZING! We did our engagement photos with her during Peak Bloom at the cherry blossoms and she made sure we knew exactly what to do, where to go, and made it fun. She is a pro and turned around our photos in one day, which just blew me away. She also was super flexible dealing with our crazy dog and made sure we had some great family pics, despite his uncooperativeness. And to go along with the great experience, our photos are to die for. Would literally do this every year with Kir in the freezing cold and at sunrise, she’s that good!

Booking Kir will be the best decision you make for your wedding day! I’ll be honest, I knew I wanted to book Kir before I was even engaged. I fell in love with her style and entire Instagram persona. After our first consult, I knew I had made the right choice. Kir was so knowledgeable, outgoing, and easy to talk to. Kir was previously a teacher and you can tell. She knows how to wrangle a large bridal party, she keeps everything moving, makes portraits fun, and is wildly efficient. Our bridal party still raves about her. Kir also listens to what you want for your day and delivers. For example, I told her I wanted to enjoy as much of cocktail hour as possible and she was lightening fast snapping the photos we wanted. I also appreciated Kir’s expertise with posing. I’ve never had professional photos taken and I don’t consider myself a natural in front of the camera. Kir helped position us for photos and gave very easy to follow instructions. It totally took the pressure off! Lastly, the photos far exceeded our (high) expectations. With how fast Kir works, it’s amazing how stunning and unique her images are. I’ve looked at so many photos and thought: “When and how did she take these?!” We’ve received so many compliments on our gallery. We’ll truly cherish the photos she took forever!!

If you are here wondering if you should hire Kir, I can go ahead and tell you that the unequivocal answer is YES. Do it. Do it now!! A sampling of texts I've received from guests in the weeks since our wedding: "Kris Jenner works hard, but Kir works harder," and "your photographer is unreal," and "you guys picked a wonderfully talented photographer!" All of our family and wedding party were raving. Hiring Kir was easily the best choice we made during wedding planning. She was so easy to work with throughout the entire process, from initial conversations through the actual wedding. She showed up early, she stayed late, she kept our rehearsal dinner timeline on track when it went off the rails, and, to top it all off, we genuinely enjoyed spending our wedding day with her. I feel so grateful that creatively and personality-wise we clicked so well! On the day of, we were dealing with some crazy wind but Kir managed and got every shot we wanted and more. My partner and I are both shy in front of the camera, but Kir helped us feel comfortable (and even cool!), and we genuinely love the pictures that we've gotten. She even sent us sneaks the next morning! Long story short: Kir rocks, the pictures rock, and you should definitely work with her!!!

Hiring Kir was the best decision we made about our small, non-traditional wedding day. My husband and I planned a wedding two months after our engagement and I was worried about getting a wedding photographer who wouldn’t just take photos for us, but whose personal style would give us aesthetically pleasing photos. We didn’t have time to do a lot of the aesthetic details that traditional weddings have so photography felt even more important. And Kir delivered – our wedding (and engagement!) photos are stunning. She went above and beyond to get all the requested shots and many more – playing off the fall foliage and the light at our mid-day wedding. Beyond the actual photos, Kir dealt with everything we threw at her. Notably, we had a complex ceremony venue (a garden with visual obstructions and our friends and family sitting/standing in the aisle which left little room for her to move around) and a similarly cramped restaurant reception venue. But Kir was everything everywhere all at once – we ended up with so many photos that I hadn’t even known she’d taken. At the reception, I had no less than 5 people – all friends who’d already gotten married - tell me how impressed they were with our photographer. Kir is professional, detail-oriented, and she will give you her advice if you’ve gone astray. Our first point of contact was an email response with a suggested outline of the day - this was so helpful to me planning a wedding two months in advance without a planner. Getting that email was the moment I knew we could pull it off. She continued to offer advice on number of photos, timing, etc to make sure we still had time for candids and other aspects of the day. She also arrived 30 minutes early on wedding morning and got us our photos the day after our wedding! I haven’t even mentioned her warmth and kindness – she is exactly the person you want with you on your wedding day. And do an engagement shoot – it’s amazing practice and photos to have!

We had a tropical storm hovering over our garden wedding in Maryland. We were devastated and worried that we would not get to have any photos outside like we imagined. Kir reassured us that we were in good hands and she was right!!! She came fully prepared with clear umbrellas, ideas, and options throughout the day for photos. When the rain slowed, we took the opportunity to take photos in the garden and her lovely assistant was there to help keep me and my dress dry as we moved to each photo spot. Kir is seriously the best there is. She is quick thinking, organized, flexible, cheerful, and so creative! I could not imagine what our day would have been like without her. We also could not believe how quickly she provided our sneak peaks (less than 4 hours after our session had ended)!!! We will forever be grateful for all she has done for us.

I can't say enough good things about Kir! She is so incredibly talented, has an eye for detail, seemed to be there at all the right times to catch all big and small moments throughout the day, and is so fun to be around to boot! I saw Kir's work on Instagram about a year before my Husband and I even got engaged, and loved it instantly. I knew once we were engaged that we had to reach out to her! From our first interaction is was clear how passionate Kir was about her work and the couples she works with. This passion coupled with her warm personality made us feel so comfortable during the engagement session and on the wedding day. She worked quickly and efficiently, which allowed us to get all the shots we wanted AND make all of cocktail hour. Kir truly went above and beyond for us throughout the wedding day! She helped remind me to pick up my dress when walking (even picking it up herself once or twice), held bouquets, corralled a wedding party of 20 people (like a pro), helped my husband with his bowtie, and so much more. She had our engagement photos back to us within less than a week, sent sneak peaks from the wedding at 2 a.m. the night of the wedding, and our FULL wedding gallery back to us within 2.5 weeks!!! We absolutely love all of the pictures. We will be forever grateful for everything she did for us and for capturing our wedding day and love story so beautifully. If you have the opportunity to work with Kir, we can't recommend her enough! 1,000/10 stars!!

Kir was the first vendor we hired after we had a venue and we are so happy we did not wait. We had fallen in love with her beautiful photography and she is truly just as wonderful as her pictures. From our first meeting, she made us feel comfortable and excited. She made our engagement session and our wedding fun, easy, and stress-free. She was highly organized and made sure we had every single picture we wanted without us even having to think about it. She was also extremely quick with her turn-around, getting us sneaks at 2AM after our wedding and our full gallery just 2 weeks later. Every picture is gorgeous, and our family and friends are still raving about how great our photographer was. We are so incredibly happy we hired Kir and highly recommend her to anyone else looking!

Kir is the absolute best photographer we could have ever asked for! She went above and beyond throughout the engagement shoot, wedding planning, and of course on the day of, making us feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed on our wedding day. She was a rockstar when it came to posing us (and all family/friends/guests), capturing the small and big moments, coordinating people, locations, shot list requests, all while maintaining an incredibly positive and fun attitude. Both of us had never been photographed professionally before our engagement shoot and admittedly were quite nervous for it, but we left feeling like models and incredibly confident in her ability to deliver spectacular wedding photos. She promised a quick turnaround and she certainly delivered – we woke up to 90+ sneak peak photos the morning after our wedding and the full album just a few weeks later. If we could give Kir 100 stars, it still wouldn’t be enough. If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Kir, we can’t recommend it enough!

I don’t know how I can accurately put into words how incredible Kir is. When picking a photographer I obviously looked at all their incredible pictures but my biggest thing was I wanted someone who could make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. I was lucky enough to have met Kir at one of my best friends weddings before I was even engaged and I immediately hired her for my wedding in my mind lol. She’s phenomenal - she’s your biggest fan, she knows all the right angles and poses and she will make you feel like the most beautiful couple in the world. Kir goes above and beyond, she showed up early, she can adapt to changing plans, she can wrangle the wedding party and family effortlessly, she finds the good spots that you wouldn’t even think about, she gives direction and advice, she even helps you put on your dress and shoes. The unanimous comment we received after our wedding from our guests was “your wedding was so beautiful and fun but wow your photographer was incredible!!” I could go on forever but I’ll end my love letter with this- you would be doing yourself a disservice not hiring Kir!

Look no further- Kir is your girl! I chose Kir as our wedding photographer at least a year before we got engaged… I came across her profile online and fell in love with her light and airy style and the fact that she photographed brides with a similar vibe to my own. I emailed Kir the day after we got engaged and officially booked her the moment I could. From the first email she made us feel welcomed and excited for the big day! What we loved most was that she was very transparent on her services and prices so we could plan accordingly right from the get-go. Throughout the process Kir was easy to communicate with (even when a spring snow storm changed our engagement photo plans at the last minute) and delivered our photos within DAYS! Once we looked through the engagement photos we were positive we chose our first vendor correctly. Leading up to the wedding day Kir helped make sure the timeline and photo list made sense with a quick email and phone call, and I know she would have helped even more if I had any questions. Now, the wedding day is where Kir truly shined. She was professional, personable, and not afraid to take charge! All of our guests commended her work ethic before even seeing any of the photos. Kir will pay attention to the big details, like making sure your veil and hair are perfect in every shot, and the small things, like ensuring everyone’s hair ties are off their wrists. She somehow remembered all of my family members’ and bridesmaids’ names (?!?!) and called them off quickly to get through the portraits seamlessly. She made sure she got all of the “necessary” shots, and about 1300 more on top of it! We got sneak peaks the NIGHT OF which was so fun to look at as I fell asleep, and the next morning with our guests at breakfast. Our entire gallery was delivered so quickly and I am still trying to narrow down which ones to print for our living room wall, months later, because there are just too many good ones. I’m so glad to know Kir as an amazing photographer and a possible long lost sister. Our home is covered in Kir2ben photos and I am hopeful for another session someday in the future to add to the collection!

The best decision we ever made!!!!! Kir did our engagement photos and wedding day and we could not have been happier with the results of both. She is the BEST hype woman and director and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She captured not only some beautiful portraits, but also managed to capture the little moments throughout the day that brought us right back to that exact moment. Hiring Kir to capture our day was the best decision we made!! I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. We wanted to have some 'traditional poses' in our pictures, but mostly wanted them to capture moments rather than specific poses and Kir absolutely delivered. On top of the amazing pictures, Kir is incredibly personable so working with her was a dream. She instantly put us at ease - it felt like we had hired a friend to photograph us. Nothing felt forced, and our bridal party commented on how easy she was to work with. We were blown away with the pictures we got for our sneak peak (the night of the wedding!!), and just received the rest of the pictures and could not be happier. Being able to look back at our pictures and remember specific moments is something that we will cherish. We cannot recommend Kir enough!!

This review has been long overdue. I am a huge believer that photos are THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR WEDDING other than getting married to your partner. My partner and I got married last year November 2021 in DC. I had been stalking out photographers in DC for a little while and given it was still COVID struggled to find someone who was willing to just do photos in my big poofy dress. My partner and I decided because we have immune compromised individuals, we would just have a zoom ceremony instead of a full out party. The only problem was I had already bought my very expensive wedding dress. Since I had my dress I really wanted to take photos in it. I messaged Kir and she wrote back fairly quickly, I want to say within 2 days. Also I did originally reach out on a weekday and not a weekend. Anyways, Kir wrote back and she said she was available on the Monday and that she had an elopement package that would fit my budget. I cried, didn't think I would be the one to cry but I did because I was thrilled to find someone that I not only love her work but was within my budget. I did do an engagement session with Kir as well. My partner is NOT a photo guy, he hates having his photo taken, but he did it because he knows I love photos. We are not by any way those instagram couples that take photos all the time that know exactly which side is their best side or know how to pose. Kir gave us directions that were easy to follow which helped ALOT. Also, the day of my elopement photos my florist called and said that she was very sick and that she wouldn't be able to get the flowers to me on time. She offered me a refund which I took and told Kir that there were no flowers. She made a call and low and behold her florist friend was able to put something together and bring it by. I may not have gotten the party that I wanted but I did get the photos that I absolutely LOVE. I love them soooo much that I asked Kir if she also did lifestyles so she could take our baby announcement photos. I cannot say it enough, Kir is worth EVERY PENNY you spend. The photos came out amazing, she is extremely nice and provides directions for the couples who have no clue how to pose. I didn't post our elopement photos because we do plan on having an anniversary party in a few years which i plan to wear the dress.

I first saw Kir’s work back in 2017. She photographed the wedding of a mutual friend and I knew immediately that no matter who I married Kir would photograph our wedding one day. In 2018, I creepily messaged her that I would plan my whole wedding around her being my photographer. And fast forward to 2021, Kir was the first vendor I booked. Kir is way more than a vendor to us though she has become a good friend. Her personality shines through every single photo she takes, she is truly one of a kind. She has an eye for details and makes every moment so much fun. Our cheeks were hurting after our engagement shoot and not because it was a freezing cold November morning but because of how hard Kir made us laugh. I swear Kir is secretly a magician because on top of taking on 184758274+ clients & other commitments each year she delivers photos faster than any photographer I have ever heard of. Rest assured her speed absolutely does not compromise the quality of her work. Kir is a best in class photographer! Kir spent an ample amount of time understanding the vibe of our wedding, she provided advice & suggestions, and made sure we felt fully ready for the big day. Photographing our wedding was no small feat, we had two venues, 14 bridesmaids, 11 groomsmen, a 224 person wedding, and a million details to capture. Kir CRUSHED it! She kept everyone in line and on schedule all while making our day the best day EVER. I look at her incredible work every single day and I feel so lucky knowing that we will have these photos forever to remind us how perfect our day was and how precious our love is. Kir did that. If you are shopping around trying to find the perfect photographer, seriously look no more. Kir is a top notch person and a top notch photographer. Kir's work speaks for itself, but once we got on the phone I just knew she was a great match - confident, friendly and so easy to chat with. You spend SO much time with your photographer on your wedding day and totally feed off their energy so you have to love both their work and their vibe. Our engagement shoot was easy to schedule and Kir was so great in suggesting locations. Then for our wedding, she knew how disappointed I was that we ended up with a rainy weekend so she went above and beyond to proactively work with our wedding planner and came up with a unique and creative idea to bring a backdrop. When she first asked me about it, I didn't totally see the vision but knew I could trust her and her expertise. And thank goodness because the photos turned out AMAZING! Plus the experience truly made us feel one-of-a-kind on our big day. Overall, from the minute Kir got onsite, she just really hyped us up and made me feel so beautiful and relaxed. She got us sneaks in under 24 hours and the entire album in less than a month - which is just unreal. Photographs are one of the only things you physically walk away with after your wedding so I knew I wanted to invest in a great photographer and would hire Kir a million times again if I could.

We used Kir for our engagement photos after finding her great reviews online, and those reviews were 100% accurate! From the beginning she gave us a ton of information, and we loved that she offered a smaller and larger engagement package. We did engagement photos at sunrise on a Wednesday and had our photos back by Friday night. They were all amazing, and she gave us a ton of shots. If we were doing our wedding here in DC we would definitely hire her for that. As far as the actual photography session, she was so sweet, arrived early, and great at getting us to laugh and feel comfortable about awkward or unusual poses.

Before the wedding, Kir was instrumental in helping formulate a timeline for our ceremony and reception… thank goodness because she also helped us to stay on time the whole event without anyone feeling hurried or stressed. My family could not get over the how kind Kir is and the way she made everyone feel at ease (both during the group shots and just in general the entire wedding weekend). She delivered our sneak peeks the night after the wedding (!!!) and I favorited every image in the gallery. I don't know where to even begin to describe how wonderful and amazing Kir is. When thinking about a photographer for our wedding, I knew that this wasn't an area I wanted to skimp on as it truly is the only tangible thing we will have from that day. Kir was amazing! From the very beginning to the very end, she was on it! Directing not only myself and my husband, but also our wedding party. We are an awkward bunch, but Kir was great with helping us out to make us look good in each photos. My partner and I had an intimate elopement with just under 14 people and Kir did such an amazing job capturing the moments. Not only that, she made us feel comfortable around her, like we have known her forever. Everyone at the wedding was raving about what an amazing photographer Kir was. My parents doesn’t speak English very well, but she was patience with them and make them feel good. I can’t wait to work with Kir again for my reception next year!

I knew that I wanted to hire Kir even before I got engaged solely based on her beautiful photos I had seen on social media, but once I actually did get engaged back in 2018 and had a reason to call her and talk to her to see if she was available and if we would be a good fit, I knew it was the best decision I could have made, she is hands down the best of the best. The character limit in this review will not do her hard work and talent justice, but I will certainly try. We got engaged in December of 2018 and hired Kir in February of 2019 as we were planning our 8/22/20 Annapolis, MD wedding while living in Seattle, WA. From the very first conversation we had, Kir checked every single box and more. From her professional yet incredibly comforting presence, to her eye for style, beauty and imagination, her attention to detail and her willingness to go above and beyond, Kir is who you want to work with to capture your most special moments in life. Fast forward to October of 2019, my fiance was going to be getting back from deployment and the timing is never concrete, always last minute and hard to plan around. Well, Kir was able to work with us to plan our engagement photoshoot in MD - not only did she work with us on the shifting date/time, she also recommended the beautiful location that I had never heard of before and of course told us everything to bring to be fully prepared. She set every expectation in the book which really helped as we were traveling across the country and didn't want to forget anything. My fiance gets very nervous taking pictures and after shooting with Kir with her direction and putting him at ease, he actually had a blast. Our original wedding date being 8/22/20, we ended up postponing our religious ceremony and our reception to 6/11/22 because of COVID, but we decided we wanted to at least do the legal/civil part of our marriage with just our parents. With less than a months notice I called Kir and asked if she could shoot our COVID-friendly outdoor garden ceremony on a Wednesday afternoon in Annapolis that we had planned in a matter of 6 hours - her response and excitement truly turned my entire mood around and got me so excited for it (I was a little sad that it wasn't going to be the day that we had originally planned, but I knew that day would come). Kir captured the ceremony so beautifully, there are no words to express our gratitude. We had such a great time we invited her to come with us to our outdoor champagne/high tea lunch reservation afterwards, we had so many laughs, it was such a perfect, special day. Fast forwarding again to our official wedding weekend in June 2022. I don't even know where to start. Kir captured our welcome party on Friday night and then was with us from 10am-10pm on wedding day Saturday. She captured every person in attendance with such grace. Her talent is unmatched. PLUS returned sneaks in less than 24 hours which I know means working until incredibly late hours in the night. Not to mention returned our entire wedding weekend photos (digital and film) to us in a month!!! They don't make them better than this folks... There is no one I would have rather worked with for 3.5 years and I am already thinking of ways to get back to the DMV area for more shoots with her in the future, or even just to grab a meal together. Hire Kir. It is the best decision you will ever make.

Kir is exactly the photographer you want to capture your special moments. My fiancé knew she was the best fit to photograph our engagement when she started offering up suggestions to improve his proposal plan. She knew the best spots to get the most gorgeous photos in Alexandria and she knew how to anticipate traffic in the busy but picturesque streets. She made us feel so comfortable throughout the shoot and she reflected all of our bubbly and overjoyed energy after the proposal while maintaining so much professionalism! She was quick and efficient to get us to our engagement party on time but every photo still had so much care put into it. We slowed her down and went an hour over the package we purchased, but she very graciously stayed to capture more of our special moment. On top of all that, she delivered sneak peaks within hours and we had a full gallery of hundreds of photos the next day. We had a beautiful sunrise shoot with the most talented photographer in the DMV area, Kir2Ben. We are pleased to work with her. Kir is without a doubt the best photographer, friend, and teammate you want on your wedding day. We first hired Kir in the summer of 2019 to do our engagement photos - we immediately knew after meeting her and seeing the perfect sunrise photos she took that she needed to be the photographer for our wedding day. The stars were aligned and we hired her for our May 2020 wedding in Tuscany, Italy. And she so happened to have another wedding booked in Scotland 4 days after our date - it was fate. Then, COVID-19 hit, and Kir couldn't have more accomodating, helpful and truthfully a sounding board / shoulder to lean on during all of our very stressful 3 times of rescheduling and postponing. We finally settled on cancelling our Italy wedding sadly but did a beautiful wedding with Kir in Charlottesville, VA - which we planned in under 3 months. It was because of Kir that we actually found the venue we ending up planning our 4th planned wedding! We got so many compliments not only on our engagement and wedding photos, but also when our guests saw her in action on our wedding day. Kir is without question an absolute dream of a photographer. She strikes the perfect balance of professional and friendly (which sounds simple, but is honestly quite elusive). She is clearly so experienced at what she does, sharing a guidebook she made with everything we needed to know about wedding photos and setting up an entire timeline of photos we should take (she even gave us suggestions about other parts of our wedding day!). She also kept everyone in line and on schedule, making sure we didn’t miss a single family/friend photo and getting every angle/expression/pose we could possibly want. A friend of ours couldn’t make it to our wedding and in looking through the photos said she felt like she was there because Kir captured every moment and every emotion throughout the day. On top of all of this, Kir was so fun to be around. When we were choosing our photographer a friend had advised me to pick someone we actually liked because we would be spending so much of our wedding day with them (and at very intimate moments where it was just the 3 of us) and Kir could not have been a better choice. We could tell when chatting with her prior that she was super warm and shared our sense of humor, but then once we did our engagement photos we saw how comfortable she made us feel (even when we both thought we were awkward as hell) and for that we are SO grateful. She did the same on our wedding day, kindly and expertly guiding us through every step.
