I cannot recommend Kirk highly enough! He is a true professional who takes extreme pride in his work. Kirk was at the venue early and went above and beyond in his duties. He was able to keep everything on pace and checked in with Meagan and I regularly to make sure we did not need anything. We did not have a wedding planner so we relied on Kirk to keep things moving along. Kirk also met with us a few months before our wedding to make sure we were all on the same page for what type of wedding we envisioned. My Sister was a first time officiant and Kirk took the time to talk with her beforehand and make sure she was comfortable with the mic/sound system. As a DJ he kept everyone dancing and having fun! If you plan on having a wedding/event you honestly could not do any better than hiring Kirk!

You have found your DJ! Seriously don't bother considering anyone else now that you have made it to this page. Kirk is a true pro. He's certainly on the circuit and knew most of my other vendors already even though i found them completely separately. I gave him late disparate directions and input and he made my wedding Dreams come true! Honestly you don't need a day of coordinator with this guy. He kept everything on track and made sure we knew exactly what was coming next. Music for ceremony and reception, announcements, everything was perfect. He truly will help you in anyway he can (i.e. getting you drinks, changing something on the fly, dealing with pesky relatives ;) etc.). The dance floor was packed and LIT all night! My high expectations were wildly exceeded. HIRE THE GUY!

Hiring Kirk as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We loved everything about working with Kirk and he was incredibly friendly, easy-going from the get-go. He made the entire planning process easy and smooth and helped us craft together a wonderful day-of wedding timeline. On the day of the wedding itself Kirk was on top of everything! The music for the ceremony and reception was outstanding and he was a perfect MC. Above all else though, Kirk truly went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I, our families, and our friends all had wonderful time. Throughout the night he checked in on my husband and I multiple times, making sure we were doing okay, had everything we needed, giving us a heads up on timing and even bringing us drinks once when our glasses were empty! He did the same for our parents, and for those giving speeches, ensuring everyone had what they needed and knew in advance where they needed to be. Throughout the reception, Kirk did a great job reading the crowd and had friends and family on the dance floor through the end of the night. On the night of our wedding, and in the days and weeks after, we had many friends and family tell us how much they loved Kirk and we couldn’t agree more! Kirk is truly one of a kind – not just for his skills as a DJ or MC but for who he is overall and we were so ecstatic we got to work with him on our wedding day! Hire him if you can – it’ll be one of the best decisions of your wedding day!

Kirk helped us to create the most perfect wedding day imaginable. Despite weather challenges, big family logistics, and many moving pieces at our ceremony and reception, he helped us to pull off a seamless and fun day. Our families and friends have said over and over again how impressed they were by how well he paced everything and how the music choices kept everyone on the dance floor. Even guests who intended to leave early stayed until the end because they couldn't stop dancing! He also helped out with timing the ceremony and cued all of the family members and wedding party as they processed. Kirk was easygoing, fun, and has an amazing sense of how to keep the party going.

Kirk was awesome! He played everything we wanted played while knowing what to play to keep everyone on the dance floor. He was so fun and personable, went above and beyond to keep us happy, always asking if we needed anything. I would recommend him to absolutely anyone!

Kirk DJ'ed our wedding this past August, and the best way to put his service is - above and beyond. Of course he maangement the music very well, but is also was very fun and professional with introductions and transitioning of events throughout the night. Most of all, he checked in with my wife and me throughout the night to ensure that WE were okay - if we needed him to grab us a refill on our drinks, making sure we got a bite to eat, getting us out of conversation that were going too long - he was truly Superman. If i ever require a DJ again, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I would use Kirk again and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone! His fun attitude, but thorough understanding of how things should flow really helped us have a the best event possible.

We're so glad we picked Kirkabee DJ for our wedding. While we originally thought about renting speakers and hooking up an iPod, hiring Kirkabee DJ was a great decision and helped relieve much of the logistical stress for the wedding. Between the ceremony, dinner, and dancing, our venue had three different areas where we needed music and audio. Kirk ensured the night ran seamlessly with his equipment and being everywhere at the right time. He showed up early, was extremely organized and professional leading up to and during the wedding, and made sure our guests had a great time on the dance floor. We liked being able to work directly with the owner of the company, rather than worry about someone new the day of.

Kirk was so great!! We have family who work with sound on a daily basis in theater so it was really important that we had a DJ who would make the music sound great, but also our outdoor ceremony. We had several conversations with Kirk and he was so helpful! Our outdoor ceremony sounded great and the reception music was SO perfect. He totally accounted for our music tastes, but had our guests on the dance floor the whole time! He also gave us great tips and advice (like how to throw the bouquet!) and was all over the proposed schedule, checking in with us several times throughout the evening to make sure everything was running smoothly. Kirk made me laugh several times throughout the evening - he really put me at ease and made our wedding feel like the party of the year. Thank you Kirk, you were awesome and helped us throw such a great event!!!!

Kirk was awesome! He was really easy to work with and went above and beyond the services required of him! He made sure to play songs we liked and ones our guests would love to dance to! He helped with all aspects of our wedding, from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to our reception. Kirk made sure everyone was having fun!

Kirk was an amazing DJ! He was very relaxed and made me feel at ease during the entire process. He took the time to go through every detail before the big day! The ceremony music was beautiful, and he worked with us to play a special song that my husbands grandfather wrote for us! He also acted as master of ceremonies to keep the timing perfect! Many of our guests raved about the music and how much fun they were having - he made sure to take requests from some of the guests who were enjoying the dancing!!! We loved how laid back he was, easing our nerves and making our wedding day unforgettable!!!

Kirk is an amazing DJ! Not only did he provide us with excellent ceremony and reception music, but he was more of a master of ceremonies in that he helped us form our timeline and stick to it. He went above and beyond in helping me, as I wanted to perform a song for my husband on my keyboard and he got it all set up the day of. He is friendly, easy to work with, knowledgeable, and flexible. Definitely the DJ you should select!

Kirk was absolutely incredible! He DJ'd at our wedding this past weekend and was amazing. Kirk was amazing! He was very enthusiastic and very accommodating. He was very familiar with our venue so he was definitely comfortable there. Our guests enjoyed his music selections, which was based off of what we had told him we would like. We hired Kirk at the recommendation of the wedding venue and I'm glad we did. He was fun, friendly and professional, and did a great job. He even checked in on me a couple of times before the ceremony, as I was waiting for the ceremony to begin, to make sure I didn't need anything. We had an afternoon wedding with cocktail hour and reception all at the same place. He provided pre-recorded jazz for the cocktail hour even though that wasn't part of the time we paid him for. I was worried that people wouldn't be dancing but Kirk kept the parity going.

Kirk is the man. We were so lucky to have found him for our wedding. Kirk met me, the groom, the day of my wedding by walking right up to me and introducing himself. From there, he asked a few small important questions and then asked if I needed anything. He always ends conversations with asking if I needed ANYTHING. I swear to you if he could, Kirk would fly halfway around the world and get me a glass of water from Japan and back if it meant making my wedding day special. He's that type of person. Kirk was on top of his duties before anyone could think of them. We had a somewhat complicated ceremony area because of the terrain and angle, and it would have been easy to have seen him in the background in pictures at the altar - he made sure he wasn't. During the reception he would find opportune moments to come by, ask or tell me something quickly and make it happen. he stuck with the list of songs we sent him, and in the middle of the night we asked him to play his own mix which was amazing. Kirk - thank you for all of your help. You really made our day that much more special. I hope to have an event in the future where we will need you again!

Kirk had DJ’d my sisters wedding the year before and couldn’t have been more perfect so it was a no-brainer that we would use him for our wedding!! He is an incredibly personable guy who goes above and beyond to meet your expectations as a DJ! He certainly went above his call of duty on our wedding night to make sure that we had a drink in their hands and were having fun all night long. Kirk understands that DJs set not only the tone for the reception, but also the pace. He sends out a form prior to the wedding asking all kinds of questions to get to know you, what you want for your wedding, and to keep him organized (ie: types of music you like, do- not play songs, which songs you want for each part of the reception). Our first dance song was a bit longer than we wanted and Kirk faded the song out at the perfect moment just as we had asked. He was very receptive to requests all night long, but stayed within the OK’d list and kept the songs appropriate for our crowd. We still receive compliments today about how fun our wedding was and how people (who don’t usually dance) danced the whole night! Kirk is the ultimate DJ for any occasion! He has become like family to us and we can’t wait to use him again and recommend him to all of our family and friends!!

Kirkabee DeeJays was a recommendation through our venue. My husband and I contacted Kirk (the owner) via email in regards to our wedding. He sent us a few questionnaires to ask us about the style of DJ that we would want at our wedding reception. We booked Kirk for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (with two sound systems). We didn't actually meet Kirk until our wedding day, which sounds kind of crazy, but we had heard such awesome reviews from our venue and we figured what the heck! We had emailed him information about what songs to play, etc. So on wedding day, we each met Kirk before the ceremony began and he was so enthusiastic about making our day spectacular! And it WAS!!! Kirk did a phenomenal job as our DJ. During the reception, he would come up to my husband and I to ask us how long to play a song or tell us what was coming up next! He even would dance with us for a bit so he didn't have to pull us away from the fun! Kirk's ultimate goal was to make sure that we (and our guests) were have so much fun! (Which was exactly what we wanted!!!) We would definitely recommend Kirkabee DeeJays!!!

Kirk was an awesome DJ. He read the crowd to keep the party going. Everyone had so much fun, from 80 year olds to young kids. Two of my friends had used Kirk for their weddings, so I knew he was great! He's more than a DJ; he acts as a host, he helps to make sure everything runs on time, and he made sure my groom and I had everything we needed during the night, including drinks. I would use Kirk again and recommend him to anyone.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kirk! I chose him based on a recommendation from our venue, and every time I mentioned to another one of our vendors that Kirk was out DJ, everyone would always tell us how lucky we were to get him and how fantastic he was. They were definitely correct! All of our communication with him was by email prior to our wedding, so we did not actually meet until the reception. During the planning, he was extremely responsive to all of my questions and requests and was also very organized. He helped me put together a timeline for the wedding and then he made sure that wedding stayed close to the schedule so that we could fit everything in. It's amazing how the time flies at your own wedding! During the wedding, he would occasionally give us suggestions that showed his expertise as a wedding DJ. For example, he asked us if we had visited all of the tables yet because he was going to start playing dance music shortly (dinner had just ended). He let us know that once dancing started, it will be very difficult for us to catch everyone at their table. We got so many comments from guests about what a fantastic job he did! We had all age groups present and everyone seemed pleased and was having a good time. At the end of the night, our eight year old flower girl even asked him if he would DJ her birthday party because she had so much fun! I highly recommend Kirk to any bride!

For our wedding, we wanted someone who'd be a good MC and keep the reception running smoothly. Kirk did a great job with that. He knew the whole schedule of events and would give us a reminder about 10 minutes before each ("Ten minutes until the cake-cutting. Is that okay or do you need more time?"). It was really helpful since I could relax and enjoy being with my guests without having to worry that we'd forget something or run late. He was also good about checking in with us to see if we needed anything, trying to be generally helpful. He really helped our reception flow without being overly aggressive about it.

Kirkabee was an awesome DJ and really went we'll above and beyond in his duties. He always made sure we were taken care of and made sure the night was exactly what we had envisioned. He was such a pleasure to work with! So glad we picked him to DJ our wedding!

Kirk was the DJ at my daughter's wedding at Belmont Country Club, a place that I would also highly recommend. He worked with the bride and groom every step of the way to create a night to remember. At the end of the night, after five hours of non-stop dancing, the crowd was begging for more. There is no greater compliment than that. He is reasonably-priced and will do everything he can to make your event perfect.

We could not be more satisfied than we were with Kirk. Kirk is a true professional in every sense of the word. We did not have a wedding coordinator and, we soon realized in working with Kirk prior to the wedding, that we did not need one! Kirk made himself very accessible throughout the planning process. He met with my now wife and helped us layout the wedding and provide guidance. During the planning process, my now wife and I reached out to Kirk often (sometime too much) requesting Play and Do Not Play Songs, and certain song requests for entrances, Kirk took on these requests with open arms. The day of our wedding he was on time, greeted us during the photo session and (little to our knowledge) had supported my best men in coordinating a musical Best Man speech. He ran the show the day of our wedding, allowing us to enjoy the event. He coordinated with the reception staff, vendors, wedding party and guests to make our event run smoothly. He even stopped by throughout the night to check in with my bride and I to make sure we were doing ok and even if we needed another drink or something to eat! Above and Beyond. In regards to music he was great! The dance floor was not empty all night! We gave him a strict "No Request" policy and he honored that request throughout the night despite some relentless pleads and bribes from our guests. Once, again, "No Request" was OUR request, not Kirks. We highly recommend Kirk. He is a great person and a very professional DJ. He is also very affordable.

Rob Hanna was our DJ. He did an excellent job, was entertaining and handled requests so well.

Kirk is an amazing deejay. He played all the songs we asked for, and asked permission when songs on the "no play" list were requested. He kicked up the energy and brought the fun to the dance floor!

I was referred to Kirk and everything I was told he lived up to!!! He has a great personality, (not that cheesy DJ) and very professional. He was great at keeping the party going. He would check in on my groom and I to see if we were doing OK or needed anything!!! The DJ??? Yes, he was fabulous!!!!! I would hire him again if I ever need a DJ again!

Kevin, from Kirkabee deejays, was our deejay for the event. He was GREAT! completely understanding and accommodating to our delicate family situation. He played the songs we requested at the exact time we asked. A huge plus was that they were also incredibly affordable! Highly suggest working with Kirkabee deejays!

Kirk was an absolutely amazing DJ. From the first time we met him through the end of our ceremony he was professional, friendly and incredibly considerate. In addition to providing music for the reception he set up a speaker and microphones for our outside ceremony. He worked with our photographer to ensure that where he set up his equipment would never end up in her shot. Throughout the ceremony and reception he worked to make sure that all of our needs were attended to and that we were not thinking about any of the details and having a great time--he acted as much more than a DJ. We would highly recommend Kirk to friends and anyone looking to have a stress free and enjoyable experience with their DJ.

We LOVED Kirk! He is tried and true. Kirkabee was recommended to me by a friend who worked with him and has since recommended him to multiple brides that have all be so pleased!! Our entire wedding was dancing all night long and we definitely give Kirk credit for it. He ran the show, kept us on time and was just a pleasure to work with. Great DJ and all around person!!!

We really lucked out on having such a great person to DJ our wedding. I was super worried about picking the right DJ but after meeting with Kirk, it was an easy choice. He was super easy to work with up until the wedding, and was SO FANTASTIC during the wedding. Without him there at the wedding to move things along, i think the wedding could of been pretty unorganized. He kept everything moving, and everyone on the dance floor! He also kept songs age appropriate for the crowd which was also nice because we did have some young party goers. He was so great, and was not just planted behind his DJ table, that some people he was the Maitre D'. He was fantastic, and can't say enough about Kirk. BOOK HIM BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

We were worried about the "cheesiness" with a DJ, but we weren't really interested in a band (thanks to Adam Sandler). Look no further......Kirk was amazing! My guests are still talking about the DJ at our wedding. He really knows how to read the crowd, make you feel comfortable, and keep things moving. When our venue was slow to bring out the food, he had recommendations to keep things moving. My (new) husband was tempted to plan every last song of the evening.....don't do it! Keep the groom-zilla at bay, and let Kirk do his job. He only needs general guidance of what you like, and he will make sure it works for your crowd. We had everyone dancing at some point in the evening. It was so much fun!!! WONDERFUL!!!! When our flower girl requested a Miley Cyrus song, he asked the groom if it was okay (we are both close to 40 years old). He said it was fine, and the crowd STILL enjoyed singing along with the flower girl. The whole night was so much fun. Thanks Kirk!

Greg played a good mix of the music we had chosen, and was not cheesy or obnoxious like some wedding DJs can be.;Greg did not get the right version of our first dance song -- so that was awkward. You should give him a CD of any of the 'special' songs you want played to make sure you get exactly what you want.

He kept the party lively and stuck to the timeline.;He did not pronounce our names correctly and disregarded our must play list.

We had Kirk for our wedding. He pretty much ran the show and kept things on schedule. He had worked out venue before and knew the photogrpher so they all worked together great.

EVERYTHING! They are so easy to work with. Mark our DJ played the best music and we didnt even give him a play/do not play list. We talked about that type of music before and he played everything just right. He ran our reception for us and did a really great job.

Kirk of Kirkabee DJs was amazing. I couldn't imagine another DJ at my wedding. He worked our reception providing a mix of jazz to rock and top 20 hits. After the toast but before the dinner he walked around and asked each table what they wanted to hear (I never noticed him doing this). So once when dinner was finished he picked up the tempo and the dance floor stayed packed all night. I will always recommend Kirk for any party that needs a DJ.;This is the best sweetest DJ you will find out there. Also one of the best buys in the DC metro area. Honestly you'd be crazy to not go with Kirk.

Kirk was pleasant in every interaction--reassuring when we had concerns or questions open to whatever we wanted with the music easy-going about the structure of our reception and wonderfully kind to us personally at the reception while receptive to and understanding of the crowd as a whole. We'd recommend Kirk in a heartbeat to anyone. He had some unusual stuff on hand when guests requested it read the crowd well re: what would keep them on the floor and had just the right presence as an emcee--active but not overly involved.;Kirk never asked us to be 'party people.' (Though we asked him not to.) If you want that type of DJ he may not be your guy.

He was very attentive to us. He read the crowd great and played the perfect music.

He put on the best Wisconsin wedding reception that Maryland has ever seen. To this day, he still says that he's never played that many polkas total as he played at our one event!
