he was FANTASTIC! Prior to the wedding festivities, Keegan really took the time to get to know my husband and I. He learned what kind of music we like, listened to and wanted played at the wedding. He also took note of the songs we did not want played as well. We were definitely picky with our do not play list, putting majority of wedding dance songs on there and Keegan excelled at finding new music for our reception. He even reviewed our Spotify playlists to see what music we enjoy most and curated a playlist just for us. Something I really appreciated from Keegan along the wedding planning process was his communication. He kept me in the loop on deadlines, progress and we did a Zoom call about a month before the wedding and went line by line through the entire evening. He put together a thorough timeline for us and what song would be playing when, even down to the minute and second of the song and where he suggested we start the songs to get certain verses played. Our guests and us loved the music and the energy it brought to our evening. We are almost two weeks out from our wedding and our guests are still talking about it! We could not have had better wedding music thanks to Keegan and we could not recommend him more!

Then you'll go over everything together to make sure you are on the same page and that everything will fit in your event timeline. And finally, you spend your wedding day not worrying about anything because he keeps everything running smoothly. Even when a couple of surprise last-minute changes to the schedule popped up midway through the day, he was ready to handle them, made sure we were ok with his plan to deal with them, and executed with panache. All this and I haven't even talked about music. DJ Keegan specializes in pop music, but is definitely not limited by this specialization. Part of his fill-in-the-blanks form is dedicated to music requests. 95% of our requests were not in the existing library (a reflection only of our eccentric musical preferences, there were a ton of options in the library) and he was able to track them down so that we could have the music we loved on the day. I was also really impressed with his ability to read the energy of the crowd and respond. He managed to keep people I didn't expect to dance at all on the dance floor for basically the entire reception. I absolutely recommend Kirkhart Entertainment if you want your party to be a blast.

For example, he noticed our guests were still eating and we were still mingling so he moved the timeline back a bit so we weren’t feeling rushed. There was not one person who attended that didn’t come up and compliment us on Keegan and tell us how much fun he made our party!

He got there in time to set everything up, do a mic check and had the whole ceremony/reception playlists ready to go! Not only did he act as our DJ, he also acted as an emcee and did a great job keeping things moving after our ceremony. He was super thorough and had a detailed timeline to keep everything on track which we really appreciated. Several people came up to us and commented about how good of a job he did. Like I said, I would 100% recommend Keegan for any wedding or party you are planning! We really appreciate him making our big day such a memorable one!

gram, I told my Fiance' (now wife) we had to book him. Luckily I was able to strike quick. We filled out forms beforehand, and were able to confirm everything we wanted when we met. He followed the script to the T. We added the Ceremony Sound, and he had the ceremony all set up and had mics for the officiant. It went very smoothly. I told him my father was going to request Boomer Sooner to be played and that he should not, under any circumstances play it (I love OU, just don't want to hear it at my wedding.) Keegan followed my directions and did not play the song, thank goodness. My father did not even notice haha. The man played hit after hit all night. If you don't book Keegan Kirkhart for your wedding, you are doing yourself a disservice.

and I wanted to have people on the dance floor all night and he exceeded that expectation. I've had so many people tell me how fun our wedding was and I know the DJ can have an impact on the whole vibe. His playlist was amazing and everything about our ceremony and wedding was perfect. I loved working with Keegan and wish I could relive my wedding day over and over again. 10/10, would recommend.

From our first initial contact all they way through his follow up after our wedding celebration, he is quick to respond. He had excellent ideas tying in with our theme and "feel" for our celebration. He even got on the dance floor with us several times! :) Keegan made this process seamless for us. We all worked well together as a team and by the end of our reception, we felt like he was one of the family! Our only regret--my husband and I didn't get a picture with just the three of us w/Keegan as a new member of our "family"! We highly recommend Kirkhart Entertainment for any of your DJ/music needs! We will be using him again for our other future family celebrations.

Our ceremony was outside on a pretty windy day, but our guests could hear everything perfectly. We did a bit of moving our guests around throughout the evening (we did most things outside, but dinner was inside) and Keegan was great at helping make that happen and gently nudging the slow folks along. Because of COVID, our guest list was smaller than we expected (about 90 people), so I was curious how much dancing there would be, but Keegan was great at reading the room and the dance floor was never empty! I would 100% recommend Keegan to anyone looking for a kind and professional DJ for their wedding or event!

to dance, and so do our friends. We presented a challenge to Keegan with the floorplan of our reception venue space. We needed music playing simultaneously in 3 different spaces for 300 guests. We needed dinner music, cake cutting music, bouquet/garter toss music, and everything in between. Keegan hit the nail on the head. When you book with Keegan, you are not only booking a DJ, but the best Emcee you could ever ask for. He set the tone for our reception and it was the party of our dreams. When you book with Keegan, you are truly getting the whole package. He has uplights, monogram lights for the dance floor, extra wireless speakers, etc. Anything you need, he will have, or he will go the extra mile to get. We met with Keegan before our wedding to talk through every detail from arrival to exit. There were so many things he helped me plan that I would have totally missed without him. My wedding coordinator notified me the week of my wedding that she would be unable to attend the reception. Because we had booked with Keegan, there was nothing I needed her there to do. Having Keegan was like having a wedding coordinator specifically for the reception. Not only is Keegan a great DJ, but truly a great person! He was so easy to work with, incredibly professional, and our guests loved him. 10/10 would recommend!

ss. Not only that but my husband and myself are not your typical Okie couple so our music choices were a tad, different. Keegan was so detail oriented and efficient in his communication it made the process that much smoother. He verified everything we asked for, clarified on things if needed, to ensure we were on the same page. He provided music for our outdoor ceremony for when guests arrived, and the music throughout the reception. He helped keep our events on track, which when you must deal with a go with the flow bride, can be a challenge. I was not worried about timing! Haha I highly appreciated his work on our wedding day to help ensure it was a good time. There were always people on the dance floor and that in my books is a good party! Music to me is a staple item that I wanted for our wedding, it’s makes the day/event more than just a party, it makes it a story and with every good story there’s a soundtrack to put you back in that moment of time. To have music provided in a high-quality manner just made me one happy bride. Plus, it helps that Keegan is a cool dude whose open to your own wants and needs, but he’ll let you know if something may not work as well. Which in a business transaction is always important. I’m someone who shops around and does a TON of research on anybody I want to invest my money into, and Kirkhart Entertainment was a perfect choice for that. So if you have the ability to hire Kirkhart Entertainment let this be your sign that, yes you should do it, and yes, it will be worth every penny!

I’m a professional musician, so I was fairly picky with our music choices and had some unconventional requests, primarily with the playlist I wanted leading up to our ceremony. Keegan was beyond stellar with communication and made sure we got everything we wanted and were totally happy with how the day was going to go. We had a few phone meetings with him during the planning process, and I couldn’t even tell you how many emails went back and forth! Not only does Keegan handle your music, he also keeps a detailed timeline of the day’s events and makes sure everything stays on track and runs smoothly. He made plenty of announcements and introductions throughout the wedding that kept everything moving along and made sure everyone knew what was coming up next. That alone was such a massive help to my husband and I since we didn’t have a wedding planner and we were technically the ones in charge! And when the reception really picked up? I was shocked at how many people we had out on the dance floor since we have some fairly reserved family members and friends! Keegan made sure everyone had the best time and that the last part of our evening was one non-stop party. I can’t recommend Keegan enough; he helped make our wedding day the day of our dreams!
