PROS:
The pricing was fairly average compared to other vendors we looked at.
The flowers held very well throughout the day (we had a morning wedding and an evening reception with pictures in between).
They arrived at the church on time to d...eliver the flowers.
They were very friendly to work with
Did a beautiful job with my bridesmaids bouquets (since I'm not a flower person and had know idea what I wanted so things just got thrown together from abstract)
Bouillon (not sure if I spelled it correctly) - comes in silver or gold and add just enough glimmer to your bouquet without detracting from you
CONS:
When my (now) husband and I first met with John we expressed how little we knew or really cared about the flowers and would greatly appreciate some input on how to pair things together. Instead of suggesting things he just looked at us, pen ready to write down whatever we wanted. For someone who knows what they want, they will be great and ready to accommodate. We left not knowing what we wanted any more than when we had entered.
Later, I met with John again, except with my mom and sister as companions. We hashed everything out at that time. At both appointments, I strongly expressed (at least what I though was strong without being a bridezilla) that my bouquet be purple with only a few touches of white. I expressed this repeatedly because for some reason I felt the he wasn't going to follow it and I would get a white bouquet with just a bit of purple. Sure enough, the day of the wedding that is what I got - a white bouquet with just a bit of purple. It was a beautiful bouquet, but not what I requested or wanted.
Overall, I wasn't completely satisfied or dissatisfied with Kirkwood Florist. I might use them again, but not without researching other places first.
