Our flowers for our wedding were incredibly gorgeous! Megan made all the planning super easy, stress-free, and is just the sweetest person. I know nothing about flowers, did not have much of an idea of what I wanted, and was planning everything from out-of-town, all of which was no problem for Megan. She made recommendations of flowers based off our colors, took the time to get an idea for what I was wanting my bouquet to look like, and work around my trips to St. Louis for meetings. Megan absolutely nailed every detail! I am so grateful for Megan and highly recommend Kirkwood Florist!

Megan was absolutely amazing! We had our meeting with her to brainstorm ideas and develop an inspiration board back in January and when the day came on September 16th, everyone (including me) was just blown away by how beautiful the flowers were! They were vibrant, colorful, and unique just like we wanted. She had included every flower we had discussed previously and everything looked amazing. She captured our vision perfectly and it made the whole day so special. It is a shame I couldn't bring the flowers back to The Netherlands with me but I made sure to get tons of photos so I will never forget how beautiful they were! Amazing job Kirkwood florists!!

I loved working with Jon! My mom has known him a long time and there was no question I'd choose him and his team to provide my flowers. He did amazing with the bouquets and I even got a flower crown which was perfect!

tl;dr: Amazing florist--book immediately! They make beautiful arrangements, are mindful of budgets, and are super friendly. I worked with Megan and she was a great listener and so accommodating. I spoke with and researched several florists, but Megan was the only one who I felt cared both about my vision and my budget--she didn't try to suck every penny she could out of me. In fact, I ended up under budget. Megan was everything I wanted in a florist: responsive, energetic, bubbly, confident, professional, and patient. I only had a vague idea of what I wanted my flowers to look like, but Megan was a patient listener who managed to capture my vision. Despite my vague directions, the flowers were GORGEOUS--absolutely everything I wanted! I couldn't have asked for a better florist for my wedding day.

Worked with Megan who was wonderful! We spent time discussing flowers I wanted included and I sent a few inspo pictures of what I wanted my wedding bouquets to look like and she nailed it! They were so beautiful! Super friendly and accommodating to changes along the way! Would highly recommend!

Flowers were low on our priority list for our wedding. We were doing an intimate, simple event and weren't sure we were up for the expense and trouble. But thinking about it more, we wanted our ceremony and reception venues to look beautiful and celebratory, so we decided to make the investment. We arrived at Kirkwood Florist super ignorant about flower options. Megan patiently showed us images from previous weddings to help us narrow down what we were looking for. It turned out that we did have a vision for what we wanted, we just needed help understanding what the heck that was and bringing it to life. Their shop is also really pleasant to visit and not snobby at all, and had a professional and welcoming vibe. The flowers wound up being stunning and exceeding our expectations. We got a couple of altar arrangements for the ceremony, centerpieces for our reception tables, and a bouquet and boutonniere. They were not cheap--our final cost, including delivery and set-up, was about $1350 for our 30-person event. But the flowers were gorgeous and long-lasting. Our guests also were eager to take the centerpieces home with them after the party. We highly recommend Kirkwood Florist. If we were doing it all over, we would have gotten quotes from several vendors and had a clearer picture of our budget in advance. But we have no regrets about how everything turned out!

It's been a little over a week since our wedding and I'm still speechless at how unbelievably gorgeous our flowers were! We worked with Megan and she absolutely nailed my vision + some....especially with my bouquet! The colors that she used couldn't have matched our wedding colors more perfectly! I realized about two weeks prior to our wedding that I completely forgot about décor for our cake (whoops). Megan told me to send her a picture(s) of what I was thinking and she'd make it happen....yet again, she nailed it! After she delivered our flowers she was also sweet enough to decorate our cake and it turned out just like the photo I had shared with her! I cannot recommend Kirkwood Florist and Megan enough! She was amazing to work with and our florals were to die-for beautiful!! I wish you could upload photos with your review because words just don't do it justice!

This vendor was a dream to work with! I loved meeting with Megan during my consultation. I am not a huge flower person but she was able to grab flowers and put together bouquets and boutonnieres directly in front of me which made everything so simple. I am also a COVID bride and thie vendor was very flexible with me throughout my 3 date changes. Megan also made me feel so comforted throughout our comuication that the day of the wedding I wasn't worried at all. She delivered all the flowers too two spots and even helped the guys get their flowers on. Just a huge stress relief to know she had it all taken care of. 100% would recommend this vendor for any flower needs you would have. Loved working with them.

Just the best - Megan was so patient with my countless questions and sat down with us when we were picking flowers to really pick what was right for us. Kirkwood Florist and Megan captured exactly what I was envisioning for my wedding! I had only a couple ideas in my head, but nothing to really paint the picture. The detailed questions asked, the multiple times spent discussing what I wanted and showing me various flowers to get an idea made me know I was in good hands! We are doing a separate reception in 2022 and will certainly be using them again!

Kirkwood Florist and Megan made my wedding floral dreams come true! My bouquet was better than I ever could've imagined. The floral arrangements for our ceremony were beautiful and our guests loved them. Megan was super easy to work with. She was able to help me work within my budget and was able to give me helpful tricks when it came to our wedding. We emailed back and forth throughout the planning process. Most beautiful flowers I could have imagined. Megan with Kirkwood Florist took the concept from my brain for our wedding and executed it better than I could have imagined. She listens to every little detail and change I had and made this process so enjoyable. Not to mention how affordable and within our budget the flowers were. So thankful to have found her and Kirkwood Florist and will continue to use them for any and all floral needs we will have!!

Megan was amazing to work with from the very beginning. We sat down together and went over everything I was envisioning and she was able to help me get my dream and keep it in my budget, including the most beautiful cascading bridal bouquet. Our venue screwed us over on getting ready times and Megan dropped them off to us in forest park while we were getting photos done without a second thought to make sure we got them all on time. She is amazing and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I used Kirkwood florist for all of my wedding flowers and Megan was an absolute pleasure to work with. I planned my wedding from out of town and she was super easy to plan with from afar including email and calling, sending photos of what I liked and getting back to me with her ideas. When we did meet in person she was so bubbly and excited that it made it even more fun to pick out flowers. The bouquets, boutonnieres, and arrangements were stunning and many of my guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were. Would highly recommend for all of your flower needs!

We just used Kirkwood Florist for our wedding flowers this past weekend. THEY WERE GORGEOUS! Everything was absolutely stunning, the reception venue even asked to use them for a brunch the next morning because they were so gorgeous! We worked with Megan and could not have been any happier with everything. She was amazing and listened to our visions and details and executed it with perfection! I highly recommend!

Jon created beautiful floral arrangements for our wedding and I am amazed with what he was able to do within our budget. It really was amazing! The customer service was personal and friendly throughout the process. The morning before the wedding, Jon put together some arrangements and texted pictures to me so that I could give my input. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with the result. I love my bouquets so much!!

I used Kirkwood Florist for all of my wedding flowers. I couldn't be happier with how they turned out (bouquets, boutonnieres, center pieces, flower crown and the church alter/pews). They were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted! I met with Marianne and shared my Pinterest board with her so she had an idea of what I had in mind. She explained that depending on the time of year would impact the exactly flowers, colors, and price of the flowers. I believe Jon and Megan delivered and set up the flowers and both the church and reception. They did a great job with delivery/set up! I would highly reccomend Kirkwood Florist!

My bridesmaids bouquets were lovely, but I can't tell you how much I adored my bridal bouquet. I'm so happy I get to see it in pictures for years to come. It was the perfect accompaniment to my dress. Jon was kind, pleasant, and easy to work with. Thank you for making such a perfect bouquet!!

Awful! Using Kirkwood Florist was the most regrettable part of my wedding, after going back and forth and stating that budget was not a concern my bouquets and alter pieces were hedious, when I communicated with KF I included photos and asked to make sure that we could copy that styles and was assured it wouldn’t be a problem—well let me tell you it was a massive problem, a guest remarked that my alter flowers looked like something that belongs on a casket at at funeral!! I held my bouquet for a few moments and never picked it up again. Just so unbelievably disappointed I would strongly suggest other couples look elsewhere if they would like beautiful flowers for their wedding day.

I had kirkwood florist do my flowers for my December wedding. I showed pictures and ideas of what I wanted and the flowers turned out so beautiful and elegant. Jon was great to work with and was also very easygoing when I made some changes a few weeks before the wedding. I did a lot of research as most brides are on a budget when planning a wedding. Kirkwood florist was very reasonable with pricing and also willing to work with a tight budget. They also Provided high quality bouquets, boutonnières and etc.

My family and I have gone to Kirkwood florist for all of our occasions that we needed flowers for but this was our first wedding in the family and I knew we had to go to them. I knew their work was great but I was truly blown away by the flowers they did for my wedding. They made my vision come true but even better than I was imagining. They are the nicest people you will work with and they will take care of anything you need from them. I wish flowers lived forever because mine were truly a work of art.

We got my bridal bouquet and alter decor through Kirkwood Florist. I let my mom drive the floral vision for my wedding, and Kirkwood Florist really delivered. Their quotes were reasonable and their service was stellar. They followed exactly what my mom wanted and also input knowledgeable advice, and we all loved the end result. She was blown away!

My family has gone to Kirkwood Florist for many years now and we always have the absolute best service! We ordered our three bouquets from here without any hassle. We gave them an idea of colors and flowers that we were looking for and they found the perfect combination. I had several people ask where I got my flowers done, and I made sure to tell them where.

I have waited almost a year and a half to write this review hoping my disappointment would fade over time. After much review we decided to go with Kirkwood Florist. Our initial visit with a woman who's name I can't remember went very well. We discussed colors and types of flowers I wanted in detail and I made sure she knew the two things I did not want - red and traffic cone orange (as I called it). My color palette was dark purples, dark oranges and orange-y yellows. They were great about working with my design idea and were very accommodating in that regard. They were also great with day of setup and willing to travel with all of my pre-designed pieces to the venue. My one huge disappointment was the color of the flowers so much so that I was almost in tears when I saw the flowers on my wedding day. Yes, I realize flowers don't always come in to the florist as ordered but I would have appreciated a heads up and I believe my instructions as far as not an option colors got lost in communication between the initial woman and Jon. The flowers still ended up beautiful but not what I envisioned for me wedding day - there was indeed traffic cone orange, quite a lot of red, and some almost pastel purple. For instance the orchids (not a cheap flower) were all red and not at all the rust color I hoped for. The types of flowers were definitely correct though. As I look back through our pictures regularly I just can't help but wonder how things would have looked if it had indeed followed my vision. Sometimes I question whether the filter on the camera just enhanced the differences more and it really wasn't as pronounced as I thought but I don't think that was the case. Overall we did have a great experience but I would caution anyone who has a very specific idea in mind.

Valerie at Kirkwod Florist completely outdid herself for my wedding. Everybody complimented me on the beautiful customized asymmetrical arch flower arrangement she made for my husband and I to stand under during the ceremony. My bouquets and centerpieces were stunning. I cannot explain how much I loved everything, and it exceeded my expectations. I would use them again in a heartbeat! I highly recommend them!

I won't lie, picking out flowers was one of the things I was least looking forward to in the wedding planning process. So I waited until the last minute to pick them out, like 2 or 3 months before the wedding, yikes. Enter Kirkwood Florist. Jon was great to work with and gave me some great suggestions. Clearly flowers were not a huge part of our wedding, but the bouquets and boutonnieres and the flowers on the altar were exactly what we wanted and looked great in pictures. Jon with Kirkwood Florist is AMAZING!!!!!!! We were referred to the business by a friend who is very well connected in St Louis Networking. We can not say enough about this company, truly! They worked with our budget, and while I gave them zero direction, what they came up with was stunning!!!

Krikwood Florist did a great job. I told Marianne our colors and she came up with beautiful designs for bouquets, centerpieces and so much more. Everything was perfect at the wedding and we got TONS of compliments on the flowers!

John was so friendly and ready to do whatever the bride wanted! He knew I didn't know much in this area and helped me put together exactly what I wanted for the right price. He worked with me to make sure I wasn't worried about the flowers. On the day of the wedding, everyone was asking me who my florist was because the flowers were so bright and beautiful.

Kirkwood Florist created the most beautiful arrangements for our children's wedding a couple of weeks ago. As our thoughts about how we wanted the wedding to look changed throughout the planning, they were able to create any look we envisioned and stay within our budget. They were very helpful in the planning stages to make sure we covered everything we might want and once again, very flexible in changing as time went on. The flowers were fresh, high quality and gorgeous. Many guests commented on the tall, airy yet elegant designs on the tables. They delivered the bride's/grooms (maids) bouquets/boutineers earlier in the day (to the location where the bride was dressing)when needed for pictures and provided containers for the limo bus to carry to preserve them (very hot day!). They made sure we had everything we needed before leaving the wedding ceremony/reception site and that it was to our satisfaction. Our budget was not huge, but the designs they created looked like we had spent much more! This is a family owned business in Kirkwood that has been around a long time and they treat you like family. Highly recommend!

Marrianne at Kirkwood Florist worked with us for our wedding and I couldn't be happier. She listened to everything we wanted and added some of her creativity to the designs. She was also good about helping us stay within our price range. Even more, she was a huge help on the day of. She not only delivered the flowers, but she stayed throughout all the pictures and ceremony to help make sure everything was in perfect place. The designs were unique and beautiful and I truly loved my flowers.

PROS: The pricing was fairly average compared to other vendors we looked at. The flowers held very well throughout the day (we had a morning wedding and an evening reception with pictures in between). They arrived at the church on time to deliver the flowers. They were very friendly to work with Did a beautiful job with my bridesmaids bouquets (since I'm not a flower person and had know idea what I wanted so things just got thrown together from abstract) Bouillon (not sure if I spelled it correctly) - comes in silver or gold and add just enough glimmer to your bouquet without detracting from you CONS: When my (now) husband and I first met with John we expressed how little we knew or really cared about the flowers and would greatly appreciate some input on how to pair things together. Instead of suggesting things he just looked at us, pen ready to write down whatever we wanted. For someone who knows what they want, they will be great and ready to accommodate. We left not knowing what we wanted any more than when we had entered. Later, I met with John again, except with my mom and sister as companions. We hashed everything out at that time. At both appointments, I strongly expressed (at least what I though was strong without being a bridezilla) that my bouquet be purple with only a few touches of white. I expressed this repeatedly because for some reason I felt the he wasn't going to follow it and I would get a white bouquet with just a bit of purple. Sure enough, the day of the wedding that is what I got - a white bouquet with just a bit of purple. It was a beautiful bouquet, but not what I requested or wanted. Overall, I wasn't completely satisfied or dissatisfied with Kirkwood Florist. I might use them again, but not without researching other places first.

Kirkwood Florist really “hit it out of the park” for our wedding. Jon at Kirkwood Florist listened to my vision for the outdoor ceremony and then created such beauty with my bouquet, ceremony arch and table decorations that the reality was better than I could have imagined. He was professional and reliable. After our initial consultation, I didn’t need to worry or follow-up. It was a new venue for them, but he delivered perfectly. I thought the price we paid was extremely fair – an overall great value. You won’t be disappointed with Kirkwood Florist!

I worked with John to create bouquets with deep red and orange flowers and beaded twigs. He was a little judgmental and hard to work with. He is belittling. However, he ended up making a great product.

Kirkwood Florist did an amazing job with the flowers for our wedding. All we did was give them the colors of our wedding and they came up with all of the designs. They did NOT disappoint. We visited several florists telling them exactly what we wanted. Kirkwood Florist was by far the best price, with the cheapest delivery fee and a free toss boquet. I was worried that the smaller prices meant it wouldn't be as pretty of a bouquet or arrangement, but when the florist arrived at the church with the flowers and arrangements I was in awe at how gorgeous they were. I LOVED everything. The people at the shop, John and Marianne, were also very kind and accommodating, willing to help in any way. WONDERFUL!

Kirkwood florist was amazing! They went above and beyond for us! Our flowers showed up at the church in perfect condition, our bouquets lasted all day and night, our cake was decorated beautifully and they were friendly and priced reasonably. GREAT EXPERIENCE!

The people at Kirkwood Florist are so friendly. The florist I met with seemed to know exactly what I wanted, and all the flowers looked great on the wedding day! We only used them for the bouquets and boutoneers, as we made our own center pieces, but they were happy to work on an order as small as ours (where as many florists require a minimum amount). They are friendly and reliable and the flowers looked great.

Mary Ann at Kirkwood Florist is AMAZING! She helped us figure out what flowers we could get for our budget and helped us find where to cut and where to splurge. I was a little worried about my bridal bouquet, as I didn't have any pictures, just an idea, but it turned out perfectly! Also, we paid extra for her to come to the church and pin all the flowers on the guys/get us down the aisle, and she ended up helping with so much more! She provided the tape to keep our runner in place and helped put the candles in the stands. Overall, Kirkwood Florist provided some amazing flowers, while working within our budget and preferences!

The staff was extremely helpful and flexible when changes were made to our initial order. Our centerpieces looked wonderful and flowers stayed fresh for almost 2 weeks.

I love this florist, they helped me design the perfect bouquets and center pieces. They set aside so much time for my consultation and made me so excited for the wedding! Whenver we had questions about ANYTHING they were so kind! They even recommended someone to preserve my bouquet! I will NEVER use another florist!

The flowers were very pretty, but not exactly what I had asked for. I understand things don't always work depending on availability, so I think they did the best with what they had. The florist was very helpful at the ceremony but apparently didn't set up the flowers at the reception which could have been problematic...
