Can't tell you just how thankful and blessed I am to have had Kirsten capture my daughter's special day! She is truly amazing, and it is obvious she loves what she does and will pour her heart into each detail! She works so hard, she's organized, and allows that big element of the day to be stress free! She is calm, confident and gets the job done with a smile on her face through it all! :-) I love her and loved working with her! The photos will be cherished forever! It is difficult to summarize how phenomenal Kirsten is in just one review! We hired Kirsten for our wedding in September of 2019 and it was the BEST decision!! When planning our big day, photography was an aspect that was very important to me. I feel so thankful to have found Kirsten. Kirsten began working on our day before even stepping in front of a camera. She sent us sample timelines to consider when planning our day and even met with me in person to discuss details. She went above and beyond to make me feel supported throughout the planning process. Not only is Kirsten incredibly thoughtful, but she is incredibly talented!! She captured even the smallest of details of our day and made sure to include specific shots that were important for us to have. We love our wedding pictures and will cherish them throughout our life together. Because we were living out of state at the time, Kirsten was flexible with our included engagement shoot and let us save it for a photoshoot sometime after the wedding. Kirsten was all in for a short notice photoshoot with us and our dog! Kirsten has captured some amazing memories for our family. She is kind, professional, and skilled. She will put her heart into capturing your wedding and you will not be disappointed! I highly recommend Kirsten for your own big day!!!

Where do I even begin with Kirsten! She was probably the best decision we made when it came to our wedding planning. After our first phone call I knew she was the one I trusted to photograph our big day. She has an incredible ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and captures the most special moments of your big day. She truly took the time to get to know us as a couple and even our families. Our photos were AMAZING!!! Even better than I could have imagined and I’m so thankful that we have her incredible images to look back on and remember our special day! Kirsten has a genuine passion for what she does, is a real artist and will go above and beyond to make your day run seamlessly and deliver the pictures of your dreams! Most importantly- she’s dog friendly and got some great shots of our pup!!

Kirsten gets to know the couple and their likes and dislikes before the big day. As mother of the bride I didn’t want the day taken over by pictures. Kirsten stayed in the background and captured beautiful poignant moments of the day that caught the emotion yet were spontaneous and unpredictable and therefore brought so much more meaning and joy in the day! Trust me, you WANT Kirsten on your wedding day! Not only are her photos wonderful, she captured moments of our big day in ways that I never thought was possible- I love her style and work ethic. She does more than just take photos, she’s encouraging and so authentic, allowing you to enjoy your big day (confident that all your favorite shots will be taken!) - while barely noticing she’s there! I am not someone who enjoys being in front of the camera, but she makes everything so natural and fun (and beautiful)! She will return your photos to you in such a timely manner and she is so organized in her approach, both leading up to and on the wedding day. I never felt rushed or pressured, even though I knew she was rushed and pushing through the whole day to make my day perfect (SUCH a hard worker!)! So many people in our bridal party came up to us later, saying that our photographer was amazing and sweet, allowing them to enjoy the day. It’s SO HARD to find in a photographer who won’t make you feel like your whole wedding day is just taking photos - Kirsten still took photos the whole day of course, but she’s so organized that it just flowed so smoothly. Trust me, I’ve been in 3 of my siblings wedding before my own and the 4 of us agreed that Kirsten was the best of all the rest! Shout out to her daughter and assistant, Mary Jane, who is so talented and hard working as well!! The highlight too is that they were both so cheerful and smiley, even to the end, when they had to be exhausted!

Kirsten Butler was the photographer for our wedding last year in August 2019 & she did a phenomenal job! Her work was incredible and top knotch across all of the places we had photos taken - from the Church, to the reception venue, outside photos with the bridal party and photographs of family & friends throughout the night! The lighting and special moments caught between all of our guests made our wedding night unforgettable! Paired with her incredible photography is her professionalism & experience to work with her! Kirsten was able to get us access to our photos online & did an amazing job organizing our photos in sequence throughout our entire wedding! Kirsten was the total package as far as photographers go. She was so organized and detail-oriented in the months leading up to the wedding. The day of the wedding she was so calming and way to work with. She went above and beyond what was expected of her as a photographer. We had unexpected terrible weather and she was quick on her feet and creative with the space we had. I absolutely loved the pictures she posted, her editing style, and the amount of options she gave us— so many pictures, which I loved. She was such a joy to work with and I highly recommend her.
