I got such a warm feeling from Kirth from the very first time we spoke on the phone. He really loves capturing moments, not just taking pictures. He is EXCELLENT at doing that and so much more. We of course did the posed family portraits, bridal party, etc. but what was really special to us were the unplanned real moments that he was able to capture of our loved ones. We just received some of the sneak peek photos from Kirth and I saw so many moments from our wedding day that I didn't get to see in real life and that was so special. He is such a kind person, he always made us feel comfortable even though we are a bit camera shy, and he has a great eye! He is easy to get along with, he's funny and witty, resourceful, innovative...we can go on and on. Kirth is very creative and beyond talented. He also did a wonderful job with our engagement photos. We highly highly recommend him & his amazing team!!!!!

Kirth Bobb does more than simply capture a moment in time, he is also a fantastic story teller. I first approached Kirth when my fiancé at the time (now wife) and I wanted to have some shots taken for our wedding announcement. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the type of person who enjoys being the center of attention. When we decided to do our engagement shoot at an airport, I was really nervous about the idea. Within a few minutes, Kirth's laid back style quickly made me feel much more comfortable in front of the camera. Upon seeing his work a few days later, I was blown away. Not only did Kirth have a knack to make my wife and I look our best, the composition of the photos (the way he brought in or blurred out the background, his use light, the timing of passers by, etc) really gave our photos context and really told OUR story. Just a bit of background, my wife and I actually met at an airport. All in all, his artistic talents as well as his ability to put us both at ease really came through in the photos. After seeing the results from the wedding announcement photo session, using Kirth Bobb Photography for our big day was a no-brainer. Leading up to our wedding, his attention to detail was impeccable. Kirth helped us nail down a wedding schedule and also had a number of very valuable suggestions in regards to getting the most out of our wedding shots (tips on posing and positioning, what to expect, planning small details etc). On the weekend of our wedding, he and his assistant made the trip all the way to New England a day early. They obviously made the most of every moment, as one of them and/or both of them somehow seemed to be every place a photo worthy moment was happening for the entire weekend. I found Kirth to be nearly ever present but not intrusive, quick to act but never frantic, calm and go-with-the-flow but also more assertive when necessary. After we got back from our honeymoon and the excitement of our wedding weekend slowly turned back towards normalcy, the anticipation of getting our photos back began to grow. We patiently waited for what turned out to be some of the most stunning wedding photos I've ever seen. No. Seriously. Being of an age where I see nearly all of my friends, and friends of friends, posting marriage photos online almost weekly, I've seen enough wedding shots to a point where they all sort of start to look the same. Ours photos were different: the emotion they captured, the composition, the creativity, the clarity were all extremely professional. Yes, we had all the formal shots taken (which came out amazing) but it was the candid photos in particular that stood out in a big way from what you typically see. There was so much more going on in Kirth’s work, so many more nuances captured than what I've seen other people posting online or even what you typically see in magazines. These photos are artwork we will treasure for a lifetime. If it is any indication of how much all of our friends and family liked his work too, I can say that almost without exception, everyone we know used at least one of Kirth’s photos in their holiday card this past winter (pictures of themselves obviously, but taken by Kirth at our wedding). I would describe Kirth Bobb as part photo journalist, part troubadour, and part magician. I cannot say enough about how great of a job he did! If you're lucky enough to have him for your wedding or otherwise, it will be a decision you'll appreciate for many years to come.

Kirth was our wedding photographer and he did such a great job! He was punctual, professional and fun! Our pictures turned out incredible we couldn’t be more happy with them. We got all our products in a timely manner! We never had to chase him down for our proofs or album or anything like that!

We loved working with Kirth (and his assistant Chris). Kirth was a pleasure to work with during the planning process - we met in person and he answered all our calls/questions prior to the big day. On the day of, Kirth and Chris were amazing - they were with us for about 10 hours and were really with us at every step of the way (frankly, I don't know how they kept up the energy the whole time :). After the wedding, we got our pictures in record speed. Most importantly, the pictures were fabulous. Kirth is most gifted at documenting the day and capturing the beauty of a lot of unscripted special moments (some of which we were seeing for the first time in the photos). I couldn't recommend him enough - thank you!
