Caitlin is a licensed makeup artist and a mom to three littles, Ruby, Henry and Eliza Jane. Caitlin has been in the beauty industry for over 15 years, working with multi-million dollar brands to develop beauty products that stylists love. She flipped her role and became a licensed makeup artist and began developing a cleaner, more natural beauty line. And after some demands, she opened her flagship store where we now provide makeup classes, makeup applications, spray tanning and more! Caitlin has built out a team of trained stylists to help assist with any occasion.

Really loved kismet! The price was very reasonable for four full hair and makeup with 2 extensions put in! Makeup lasted all night and my hair did too even though it was so windy that day! Listened to what I wanted and didn’t go crazy giving me a beautiful subtle beat. Highly recommend!

Jennifer and Ruth did amazing hair and makeup for my bridesmaids. We were done with plenty of time to spare, they were professional, fun, and easy to work with. I would 10/10 recommend!

My overall experience using Kismet for hair and makeup for my wedding day was good. The main issue I had was regarding communication. I had to verify and/or correct details multiple times, ask questions about details that weren't laid out anywhere on the website/interest form (how they determine how many artists are used, what the contract entailed, how pricing would change if more artists were needed)... Just a lot of difficulty on that end. Caitlin was always very helpful and answered all of my questions, however!!
On the day of, the team of artists with Kismet was great. They showed up early, set up everything, and were professional and skilled! Shout out to Jennifer specifically, who did such a great job creating exactly what I envisioned for my makeup. I highly recommend her!!
There was a hiccup regarding payment... I felt slightly awkward having to ask an artist how to pay, since I had never received an invoice. I then had to reach out following the wedding to obtain the invoice, and the total didn't match what was originally quoted to me. Caitlin was fabulous about making things right, and explained that they had had a recent price change. She honored the original quote, which I really respected.

10/10 would recommend Kismet Beauty! There was lack of communication in the beginning due to some personnel changes; however, Caitlin (the owner) was able to reconcile the lack of communication and answer all of my questions! I hired Kismet to do hair for my wedding and the stylist, Angela, was absolutely amazing!! She was able to do all of the hairstyles that my bridesmaids and flower girls wanted within the needed timeframe. Angela made sure that all of the girls felt just as beautiful as I did! I would definitely recommend her/Kismet for your wedding! Both Caitlin and Angela were courteous, prompt, professional and so kind!

Could not recommend them more! We used Kismet for hair and make up. We had a huge bridal party plus a few family members. They were at the venue early, and finished with time to spare. All the hair and make up was gorgeous. The girls were very kind and make the whole experience so fun and exciting! Highly recommend kismet for your wedding day. Cannot wait to book them for future events as well!

I hired Kismet to do wedding hair/makeup for the bridal party and myself. THEY KILLED IT. The girls did such a great job. I couldn't have been happier. Both were on time showing up and kept the schedule we agreed upon. Great people to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stylist.

I booked with kismet a while back and my wedding came after they had (I think?) gone through a change in ownership so there were a few hiccups along the way. Just issues with communication I believe so I did have to reverify dates and times a few times. BUT - day of, they were incredible. Everyone was ready well ahead of schedule and the makeup artists were super sweet and easy to work with. I also have severe chronic health issues and because of that, I couldn't make it to the hotel to have my makeup done the day of my wedding. I also wasn't able to make it to my trial and Kismet refunded both of these for me which is just absolutely incredible. I think it really shows their heart and for those reasons I absolutely recommend them!

I hired Gabrielle to do my daughter's (the bride) and my own makeup. It is the first time either of us had had our makeup professionally done. Gabrielle did a wonderful job! She arrived on time, and had a sweet personality. I don't hesitate at all to recommend her to others.

Could not be happier with the service we received for our wedding! The hair and makeup artists were friendly, professional, and supportive. At every step of the way, they were checking to be sure that my vision as the bride was being fulfilled and even exceeded. Kismet services, including the glam/natural makeup, beautiful hair styles, and super-comfortable false lashes, make everyone feel beautiful and glowing, even though it was 90+ degrees outside the day of the ceremony. Wedding pictures looked that much better because of them. If you want professionals who will brighten your day and make you feel like the main character, hire Kismet for your next event! :)

Kismet was great to work with. They were easy and quick with communication. They were flexible with appointments and have their own cute, little studio! Reham was an amazing MUA. She was so easy to talk to and gave me advice during my trial (was having skin issues and she gave me tips on what to do before the wedding). I was worried about her doing 6 people in a 4 hour window, but she absolutely slayed. I felt the absolute prettiest on my wedding day. Thank you Kismet and Reham!!!

I could not recommend Kismet enough! From the very first moment, I knew this was the partnership I'd been hoping for. Very communicative, beautiful hair and makeup, such a joy for our getting-ready morning! We had so much fun and everyone looked absolutely stunning. Incredibly reasonable pricing, including travel for the artists to the French Quarter, and completely open to what the girls wanted for their hair/makeup looks. 10/10!

The make up artist and hair stylist Kismet provided for my wedding were wonderful! Everyone looked beautiful on our special day. Paula and Ashley were wonderful to work with. They kept us on schedule and we’re so much fun! Can’t say enough good things about choosing Kismet for our hair and makeup! It was a one stop shop!

Hope Hanson has done my makeup for all my events. Whether its a wedding, announcement pictures, baby showers, special events she is always giving me the glam I need!
