ing was not an easy one to manage. It took place across multiple locations in Los Angeles, involved several vendors who had never worked together before, and required coordinating logistics for all of our out-of-town guests.
Even with all those challenges, Noelia and her team made everything feel effortless. They created an environment where every vendor worked together seamlessly, as if they had been a team for years. The entire day flowed beautifully, and that was all because of the structure and support she put in place.
We also had a reception venue with complicated rules, but thanks to Noelia, we never felt the pressure of those restrictions. She handled everything behind the scenes, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy our day.
One of the most valuable things Noelia brought was her calm, steady energy. During both the planning process and the wedding day itself, she was always composed and reassuring, even when things got hectic. We even found ourselves missing the planning once it was over, simply because working with her was such a joy.
When we needed a last-minute vendor, Noelia stepped in without hesitation and found someone through her trusted network. She truly went above and beyond every step of the way.

panic culture. Through the midst of about 50 responses, her detailed response outlining her resume stood out. And after falling in love with her during our meet and greet, we knew she was the one.
I must preface this with the fact that both my wife and I are very particular, attentive to detail, and know exactly what we love/want. And Karla and team tackled this challenge without hesitation, and although I'm sure it wasn't, they made it seem effortless.
From the beginning, Karla sent us everything we needed to begin planning our dream wedding. From spreadsheets, to informatory brochures, to vendors, Karla helped us create the perfect design and team to bring our vision to life. Karla was available every and any time we had a question, a concern, or a comment. She not once disagreed, but added constructive criticism when needed. Her patience and understanding were outstandingly impressive, and honestly, I don't know how she did it!
Karla made sure all vendors knew our vision, and she advocated for our must haves when needed.
The few weeks before our wedding, Karla and team stepped up to the plate with venue and vendor walkthroughs, easing our anxieties and worries, troubleshooting the minor discrepancies, and creating the perfect itinerary for our big day. She also made sure our bridal party was fully understanding of their role and responsibilities (thank you, Karla).
Now the big day! Where do I begin? She had us assign two decision makers for the day of. But she did such a wonderful and impeccable job at cooridnating with vendors and the venue, that they had no responsibility the day of. The venue looked amazing for our entire wedding. It was exactly what we envisioned, what we discussed, and what we planned. The coordination was outstanding. Every single part of our itinerary was executed exactly how we planned, even our guests noticed and complimented us. All in all, our wedding we PERFECT. Every single thing about our day was perfect. Karla and her team did an amazing job at everything we hired them to do. It was worth every penny, and I would do it all over again (in another lifetime). The amount of gratitude that my wife and I have is indescribable. Karla, Ellie, and Noemi, thank you so much for everything you did, endured, and executed the day of. We are still processing and talking about our day, and I honestly think we will for the rest of our lives. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! I almost forgot this is a review. I think what I loved most about the time, my now wife and I had with Karla, was that she helped us breathe on the wedding day and realize that it was all going to go according to plan. I personally underestimated how chaotic a wedding day could be, but Karla was there to help center me.
Something important for our wedding was being able to converse in both English and Spanish. Karla and her team were great in this aspect too, allowing for both families to be seen and feel heard. As when it comes to weddings, taking care of the family helps the people getting married become more at ease, well at least it did in my case.

While most of our interactions were with Karla, the owner of the business, we wanted to take a moment to highlight the rest of her team and thank them for the wonderful job they did. Each member of her team that we came across was a delight to interact with and contributed towards giving us the most wonderful wedding we could have hoped for.
As for Karla herself, what is there to say? She is simply outstanding. Going far beyond what we would have expected of any planner, Karla deftly walked the fine line between being a service provider and becoming a dear friend. There is such sincerity in all her interactions that her desire to give her clients the best event she possibly can becomes undeniable. If you are looking for a recommendation, there is no one we can imagine doing a better job at navigating the intricacies of planning a wedding than Karla and the Kiss and Say I Do team.
When we first hired Karla, we were just looking for a solid planner because we were planning our wedding from out of the country. By the end, we were so happy that she was able to witness our wedding because we genuinely wanted her there just as much as any guest. She didn’t just manage contracts and vendors; she offered support to us during family drama and various stressors that developed during our planning period. We bonded over similar heritages and life experiences, we laughed over my now-husband’s dumb jokes, and we all sighed together over planning headaches we couldn’t avoid. Even though she became so much more than just a wedding planner, she remained an absolute rockstar on the day of our wedding.

We went from engaged to married within 9 months and had our wedding in the LA off-season (February). We chose KASID’s “wedding management plus design” package which required some work on our side (compared to a full-service planning package), but we received great vendor recommendations from KASID’s many industry connections along the way and expert guidance for any questions we had (and we had a lot).

When we were starting our wedding process, one of the things that I really did not want to spend money on was a planner or coordinator. I knew managing a wedding would be stressful, but I figured I could do it on my own. I was very wrong!
Karla was involved in every step of the process - helping the early planning, providing Excel documents (timelines, table guides, etc.), keeping us on-track with useful tips and reminders, and finally managing the day-of operations. At each step, my partner and I commented to each other how thankful we were to have Karla's assistance!
Every vendor you hire as part of your wedding has an important and unique job on the day of the event, but Karla proved to be the linchpin that kept everyone organized and things running smoothly. I was incredibly impressed with her ability to make sure everything was attended to while keeping the stress away from us (the bride and groom). Like many couples our wedding had to be postponed a year and she was very understanding and helpful navigating that process and honored our original contract. When we significantly downsized our wedding she was happy to offer perspective and help us explore other options including a new venue (ultimately we kept the one we originally booked). She made herself available and was a great communicator, which is crucial!

We had our wedding at La Canada Thursday Club (which is also an AMAZING venue and very affordable compared to the 20 plus venues I researched in the LA area). Karla was able to meet us on several occasions at our venue and outside our venue. She was on top of all our arrangements and was able to plan down to the smallest details. ure my husband and I didn’t have any worries on our special day. And any time we seemed to be flustered or worrying about other people’s opinions she made sure to pull us aside and be like “what do YOU want”, and I loved that! She also was extremely flexible, the day of our wedding we wanted to move events around and move them up, time wise, and Karla showed no hesitation, whatever we asked she made it happened and never made it seem like we were difficult. She also made sure my husband and I had about 10 minutes of private time after the ceremony to just soak in what just happened and to catch our breath. And she made sure we ate!! That was great! I would recommend to ANYONE! She made our day all the more special and I’m forever grateful for her!
