Her past experience as a florist added a special touch, as she seamlessly blended her creative ideas with our vision, resulting in stunning floral arrangements that exceeded our expectations. Aviva's creativity went beyond the floral arrangements. Recognizing the importance of incorporating my Filipino culture into the ceremony, she suggested the use of "Abaniko," a traditional Filipino hand fan. This thoughtful addition added a personal and cultural touch to the ceremony, making it even more meaningful for us and our guests. Aviva's ability to infuse cultural elements into the celebration demonstrated a deep understanding of my background and a commitment to making my wedding day a reflection of who we are. As residents of Las Vegas, the idea of a destination wedding seemed like a distant dream. However, with Aviva's assistance, we were able to turn this dream into a reality by getting married in Florida. Aviva's expert budgeting skills and resourcefulness allowed us to afford a destination wedding while staying within our financial means. While we acknowledge that weddings or events are not always perfect, we are grateful that ours came pretty close, thanks to Aviva and the team. Life will continue to throw hardships our way, but what's most important is how we react to them. Aviva exemplified the essence of embracing imperfections with a positive attitude. ought this would be a person who understood how to help this wedding be successful while at a moderate price point. Unfortunately this couldn’t have been farther from the truth. We don’t know if Aviva was in over her head but too many things went wrong (her day of team was amazing though! Michelle, Paige, Angie and Oniki kept the day organized) We felt quite concerned in the middle of the process and Aviva assured me that based on her other good reviews, the rest of the planning process and the wedding day would be smooth. This did not end up being the case. Aviva did not bring our kippahs which were crucial to the religious ceremony and most importantly our Ketubah was completely missing when we opened the box the following morning. We spent the 2 days after the wedding sick to our stomachs only to find out it had been thrown in the garbage due to carelessness in Aviva’s coordination. To Aviva’s credit, once we realized it was missing she worked to find it including going through trash. It was never found and this is a foundational piece of our wedding that we will never get back. Aviva also was rude and short with multiple of my bridesmaids and brought my sister to tears. The day was stressful but I expect a paid vendor to be professional and not exhibit these behaviors. On a very basic level, Aviva helped us find a few of our great vendors and organize a loose schedule. However, it took a lot of prompting and following up on our end and she told us to stop micromanaging her each time. Even all the small things day of such as making sure we ate, had some water, or had a ride to change into the second look (+ a lot more) were just completely forgotten by Aviva. Aviva really tries and she has good intent but our planning process and her actions on our wedding day left a lot to be desired. Had she not forgotten the Ketubah, this review may have been slightly better but to let something so crucial get overlooked is absolutely inexcusable.
