Kittleson's Cakes

Phylis made a beautiful "naked" cake with three tiers. It was also delicious, which is a huge bonus!! The filling was raspberry and the cake was white, and we received tons of compliments. Phylis was able to do sheet cake as well, which saved us some money, too. Overall, I'd highly recommend Kittleson cakes! We were really happy with the entire process and the price was very reasonable.

One word: AMAZING! Phyllis is such a talented and kind person. Her pricing is so reasonable for the quality and design! She made us the most amazing 3-tier cake to serve over 100 people. At our cake tasting she was so open and welcomed all our ideas about cake flavors, styles, and decorations. She even made us our own mini-cakes to take home and try with our family! Our floral designer was able to decorate the cake further with fresh flowers. Phyllis is the epitome of wonderful customer service, talented baker, and small-town charm wrapped in one! We will certainly be back for more cakes in the future! Thank you!

For my Benzie County friends this woman needs no introduction. Phyllis Kittleson has always been more to me than just my 2nd grade and Home Ec teacher (yes I was lucky enough to have her in elementary and jr/sr high). Mrs. Kittleson was the teacher you could always go to for anything. When she (almost) retired my senior year we shared a reading together at baccalaureate and that is something I’ll never forget. I now get to add one more special memory with this amazing lady. Mrs. Kittleson created the most beautiful cake I could have ever imagined for our wedding. She took all of our ideas and baked an absolute masterpiece. And anyone who has ever had a Kittleson cake knows how absolutely delicious and moist her cakes are. We were lucky enough to have left overs besides our top layer and were able to enjoy the cake even longer (which was an unexpected bonus). Even after being frozen her cake is still the most delicious I’ve ever had. I am not a huge cake fan normally but that’s probably because most don’t taste like this! I can’t wait for our 1 year anniversary so we can polish it off. Thank you Mrs. Kittleson for being a very special part of our day.

Phyllis is an absolute sweetheart to work with! She is incredibly talented and can make whatever themed cakes you're looking for. She did a sand castle cake for our beach wedding and it was perfect!
