e stress of the last month of wedding planning, and to have this happen is disappointing. I was utterly disappointed and disrespected. Never have I been given any explanation as to why this happened. Instead, Kate had thrown my onsite coordinator under the bus and repeatedly reminded me of how far my wedding venue was for the two meetings she had to attend. I completely understand that some people do not like long drives, and it would have been perfectly okay if she had said she couldn’t work with me after the first call I had with her as my wedding venue was too far. Common courtesy would be giving your client a call, not a cold text message backing out mere weeks before the event, and a partial refund.
Some details: I reached out to Kate over a year before my wedding date to receive some information about services. After our first call, we have both decided it would be best that instead of a full service it made more sense for her and the team to have provide Wedding Planning Day Of Package + Decor Design. We had three virtual meetings (two of which Kate was not on the call for) and two in-person meetings at the venue. At no point during the almost year and a half of planning and having them on my wedding team were there any signs or issues that were brought to my attention.

Kate Lacy (and her team) was such a blessing during this whole wedding planning process. Kate's professionalism, knowledge about the industry, quick problem solving skills, and calm & kind demeanor make her a fantastic advocate & compassionate support for any wedding couple.
