vice was impeccable! Ali, the wedding coordinator, was always willing to get in touch with me and even would email me when it was her day off. She never skipped a beat! She made all our wedding day dreams come true. Our pictures are beautiful with the drapery and chandlers hanging in the background of our first dance and cake cutting. The food here was amazing... the chef really knows his stuff! We are forever grateful for the service and people we worked with at Klein Creek Gold Club!

how we would like for our day to go. We also did our tasting with her. After the tasting, we did not hear from her for a few months. About 4 months before the wedding, we received an email from a different wedding coordinator. Apparently, the original wedding coordinator was gone (no explanation or notice) and this new coordinator would be working with us moving forward. We met with her a few times and had to review all the information we had already gone over with the original coordinator. We worked with her moving forward and it was fine. Then, the Monday before our wedding (5 days prior to our wedding!) I emailed her with a question and received an AUTOMATIC REPLY that she was out of the office until "further notice". Less than one week before our wedding, our wedding coordinator was "out of office" and there was again, no explanation, no communication. We felt that someone from Klein Creek should have reached out immediately after knowing our coordinator would be out of the office for our wedding and let us know who would be taking over. My husband called and talked with the chef, who was going to take over as our coordinator. I was immediately concerned - in one year we were on our 3rd "coordinator"- who had no experience with decorating or coordinating for weddings. To say this experience was stressful was an understatement. Overall, the wedding reception was fine. We stuck to our schedule (thanks to our DJ - John with Sounds Fantastic Entertainment). The food was mediocre and my husband's plate was cleared from his space before he finished eating, while we were talking with guests. We were given no leftover wine to take home (which we had already paid for), and the top layer of our cake was never given to us to take home and save. We had specific instructions to save a piece of non-chocolate cake for my grandfather and that did not happen. The tent alternated from very cold to way too hot all night and the staff was exasperated when my mother asked for them to control the temperature. My husband and I were told by the original wedding coordinator that we could use any space on the golf course for pictures, and we found out two days before our wedding that we were allowed nowhere on the course - and had to find a new location to take our wedding pictures the Thursday before our wedding. Thankfully, our photographer (Robert with RRG Weddding Photographer) helped and that was fine. Overall, this was a horribly stressful experience. The reception ended up being fine, but the worry and unnecessary stress the venue caused in the months, weeks and days prior to the wedding was not worth it.

gh some major changes internally, but the team at Klein Creek didn't let this affect our event. As we approached the wedding, Ali, the event manager truly stepped up to make sure everything was in order and in place for the big day. We give her an 'A' for communication - she was very responsive, which made things on our end much more seamless. Come wedding day, we had to make some significant changes to our ceremony location and Ali did a fabulous job tweaking things to accommodate us and our guests - The ceremony turned out great! As for the reception/cocktail hour, our guests were treated as royalty and received 1st class treatment. The venue truly delivered what was expected and made the day as smooth as possible. Above all, the tent is ravishing - our guests were blown away with how elegant everything was. Cheers to the Klein Creek team!

epeat some emails (I was planning from long distance). But she and the Klein Creek staff set up everything as I had imagined, including my memorial table for loved ones! The tent itself was beautifully lit and spacious. The temperature was just right for the frigid November evening, after we asked someone to crank up the heat full blast. Everyone had a blast and commented on the wonderful food (the tomato basil cream soup was a huge hit!). The only thing that could have gone better was faster serving of the food - there was some lag time in between the courses of dinner and standard wedding-ish events because we were waiting to make sure that everyone had at least started to eat before doing x, y, and z. This venue is one of the best bangs for your buck (all-in-one venue with open bar) in the very expensive Chicago suburbia! We are very happy with our reception at Klein Creek!

l or phone if I had a question!! Great choice of entrees and the food is incrediable and Amanda can work with any budget!! The hotel is less than five minutes away!! To top it off, you can keep the party going because they have a bar you can rent (very very affordable) out until 1 a.m. or 2 a.m.!!

d silk in the tent, and the over all ambiance of it all. People are still telling me it was the nicest wedding they had been to in a long time. The food was phenomenal. We absolutely loved everything about this place. They also offered a discount to us for using one of their sister locations for our bridal shower. Truly wonderful.

lein Creek and were instantly impressed. The venue was beautiful and we loved the tented reception area. We were highly impressed with the on-site coordinator as well. She was very detailed and answered all of our questions in a very timely manner. We decided on the filet and the tilapia- the tilapia we could have done without, but the filet was actually a filet (not what most venues consider a filet) and was cooked well considering the high volume. Overall, the day was absolutely perfect thanks to Klein Creek and their wonderful staff!

She set up the venue just as I had envisioned, worked with all vendors to ensure they were where they were supposed to be, made sure we stayed on schedule with introductions, food, cake cutting, etc., packed up all the items like toasting flutes, cake topper, etc, so I was able to pick them up the day after, and even came to the rescue with pins when my sister tore her dress during photos! She was always on top of everything, if not two steps ahead! I highly recommend her to any bride, as she is extremely professional and will do anything for her client. In addition to Amanda's services, I must make mention of the venue itself and the food. Everyone said how beautiful of a space the tented pavilion was for a wedding. It was a very romantic and intimate venue. And the food was amazing!! The salmon with brushetta on it was talked about all night, and the steak was cooked perfectly -- not dry like most wedding venues. Klein Creek was very flexible with our menu choices, too, and even allowed us to offer 3 entrees instead of 2 when we couldn't decide! Everything was just perfect on my day. I owe it all to Amanda and Klein Creek! Thank you!!!!!!

as they should be no one told them to move up. Isn't this why we have a wedding coordinator???? The wedding coordinator super nice, just I never could find her when I needed her. The venue switched wedding coordinaors it wasn't there fault but that sucked. One coordinator told us one thing and than the new one told us another so it was super annoying. We were not promised the things the orignal coordinator so when asked about them we were told we couldn't have them. The reason we booked at this place was because the orignal coordinator jessica if we knew this was goign to happen we would not have had the wedding there. Overall the wedding was a sucess but dinner ran really long and people were complaining because they took to long to serve which cutt into the dancing time, which was already cutt into because guest were not seated yet and (I left part of my dress at the hotel which was my fault )and had to get it. So I ran 10 min late of go time but when I was ready to walk out I was told I had to wait because people were not seated yet really???? So after all this dancing was cutt down to only 2 hours. The servers didn't help me much I had to yell to get one's attention to get a different flavor cake. We didn't even know we had are own server to make us happy until my husband went to get a drink because we had nothing and they told us we have a server. Really??? Ugh!!! The venue is beautiful, I really got great pictures and it is better than your typical banquet hall.

change. Many things that were promised from our initial coordinator, who I loved!! were not fulfilled. Amanda, the current coordinator, is young, which I have nothing against, but just does not fulfill the level of professionalism that should be upheld as a wedding site coordinator. Rushing the bride and groom out of our post ceremony pictures is not acceptable especially when she's trying to get dinner out much earlier than stated in our timeline. Our wedding party didn't fit on our head table and needed an additional table set up during the reception while everyone was there. The bridal party and family really wasn't taken care of as much as I expected. Our server for the head table was amazing but they forgot about the bride and groom's parent tables as they were almost served their food last! Not acceptable.

When I asked her about taking pictures at an adjacent farm, she went as far as to call the farm for me and ask my questions! The tent area is beautiful once it is decorated. Don't let the bare bones look turn you away. The complimentary up lighting really added to our wedding decor. The tables and entire room were set up exactly how we wanted it. Along with the decor, the food is delicious and the drinks were great. At one point the bartender went and got a specific type of alcohol that my guests kept asking for, but wasn't behind the bar. I mean...that rocks! Thank you Amanda and staff! The only downfall was with our chocolate fountain, but they are a separate company recommended by Klein Creek. We were supposed to have 2 different types of chocolate and they only brought one. The lady who worked the fountain was also very unpleasant and many guests commented on her.

awesome, the food was terrific, and the tent itself is gorgeous. The 11pm noise ordinance is nothing; we rented out the club house from 11-1am (for a very small price!) and it was so much fun to keep the party going! And the late night appetizers are a must! Also very affordable. This venue is amazing, it is beautiful and affordable, and its a country club, not a banquet hall, so yours is the only wedding on the day and you get all the special treatment and attention. If you are considering this venue or looking at other places, stop right here. You have to get married here!!!!!!

t a day so it feels like you have the whole place to yourself. Great communication throughout, and very well organized! By the way, the bar tenders were friendly and personable, and the food was fantastic!

on maternity leave (and then later leaving the golf club permanently) and we ended up working with Jessica, which made me a little nervous as she was new to the job. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised! We first met her at the tasting and I knew I should be impressed when my parents were impressed with her (they are quite difficult to please at times!) Jessica was clearly new to the job, but she handled herself so professionally and really aimed to please us. From then on, everything was just wonderful. From setting up our decorations to serving our food, Klein Creek really allowed me to enjoy not only the actual reception, but the days leading up to it. All of our guests have raved about the passed h'ordeuvres, the huge portions for our plated dinner, and the very generous drinks the bartenders were serving up. We even were able to offer our guests a choice of 4 entrees, which was great as my family wanted beef and fish, when my husband's family wanted chicken. We also of course wanted to offer a vegetarian option as well. We compromised with the chef and used the same sides for all the entrees. They also allowed us to upgrade the salad for free because we chose not to have soup on a hot July day. The only thing that we realized was missing was a champagne toast for all our guests which was suppose to be included in our bar upgrade. To be honest, though, I really don't think it was that big of a deal, just something that future brides could look out for and discuss ahead of time. When I brought this to Jessica's attention, she offered to refund us the money for the champagne - which she did NOT have to do, but was very much appreciated. In addition to the food, the atmosphere of the tent was everything I had hoped for and I'm certain we were able to get some great pictures out around the golf course. On the morning of the wedding when I woke up thinking that we weren't going to have cocktail music because we forgot to tell our DJ we were having an outdoor cocktail hour, Jessica quickly eased all my worries and guaranteed me she'd work with my DJ to ensure we had music. It ended up perfectly! Overall, I am happy to give Klein Creek 5 stars and my highest recommendation for future brides!

mony and reception tables were not how we original were told). The groom's parents ended up sitting next to the head table instead of in front of it. We know that the tables had to be set up like that but it would have been nice to be told a head of time so we could have rearranged the table numbers. Jessica, the event coordinator, did a great job, minus the mishap above. We had a lot of extra vendors that she had to deal with. Cigar roller, ice bar and photobooth. The table cloths and everything extra made the tent sparkle! She called us the day before because it was supposed to rain and asked us if we wanted to rent tents. Everybody commented that the salmon was the best they ever ate! It was a perfect day and we are so happy we chose Klein Creek for our special day!

he wedding asking if we would like them to set out a few runners free of charge (that matched our wedding colors). The biggest thing that impressed me was when the heat in the tented pavilion was not working (it was about 40-50 outside) - they really wanted to make sure that they did something for this inconvenience, and ended up giving us some money back. I thought this was really great of them and we didn't even have to ask - they asked what they could do for us. Overall, Klein Creek was just wonderful and I wish I could have my wedding there every day!
