Kim was fantastic, reasonably priced and so unbelievably talented. My hair and makeup the day of was simply perfect. I went with her Elite bridal package in which she stayed during the ceremony and after to touch up hair and makeup for pictures. She assisted with positioning my dress for photos and even helped be bustle my dress before the grand entrance. She was beyond amazing and made everything about the day go so much smoother. I HIGHLY recommend her services, she was unbelievable!

the engagement shoot. She arrived bright and early at my hotel suite the morning of the wedding and worked tirelessly for hours so my five bridesmaids and I would look exactly how we wanted! We especially appreciated the straightforward and reasonable pricing menu which allowed each girl to choose how much she wanted to spend in advance. Of course, I was just thrilled with how my look turned out as it was carefully planned (and very well executed), but what impressed me even more was how Kim and her helper were able to make up my friends in a way that looked and felt totally natural for each of them. The wedding had a color palette but each bridesmaid picked her own dress, so I was delighted that the hair and makeup mirrored that sense of embracing everyone's individuality. They listened attentively and pulled off looks ranging from soft, natural and dewy for the girls who don't wear makeup regularly to edgy and fierce for my winged liner and bold lip lovers, and best of all, it was totally cohesive. One of the girls even said she liked her makeup for my wedding better than for her own! Everything lasted the whole night and the pictures are stunning. This was the absolute best thing I spent money on for my wedding. I knew I would cry, but I had no idea I would cry so much! Touch ups were critical and I am so happy with how my photos turned out with her assistance. You will also love how communicative she is. There were a few times I'd called at an inconvenient time for her and she texted to set up a time to chat. I cannot say enough great things about her. You will not regret choosing her for your hair and makeup!

to create my vision. She is organized, detailed and strives for perfection. I was so happy with how gorgeous she did my hair and makeup. She used an airbrush for my makeup which was amazing. My bridesmaids and flower girls had different lengths and types of hair and she was easily able to work with all these variations. She did fake eye lashes for me which looked amazing. She had all different types and sizes and placed them on my eyes perfectly. In addition, Kim is so personable and kind. After finishing the last hairdo, she helped us get out the door to leave for the ceremony and made sure we had everything we needed, which was greatly appreciated. KLM Artistry is a class act.

We set up a consultation at her studio in Scottsdale, which was conveniently located and very clean! We tried several different looks and ultimately landed on my perfect look. I booked her instantly! On the day of my wedding, Kim showed up early and prepared. She was organized, professional, and kept me and my mom relaxed when we were getting emotional or stressed about wedding logistics. My hair turned out absolutely beautifully, and I've never had makeup so natural-looking (vs. the industry-standard heavy contouring) and flattering to MY features. She catered my makeup to my natural features instead of trying to cover them up, like most makeup artists do. She made me look and feel stunning, which is what every bride deserves on her wedding day. I also want to mention her experience. Many hair and makeup artists out there are girls who have learned everything they know from Youtube video tutorials. Kim has over 20 years of experience in the industry, and she saved my butt several times throughout the day with her great advice. To give an example, I wanted to go with a light (almost nude) lipstick shade, but she advised that I go just a bit bolder so the color would really pick up in the photographs. SHE WAS RIGHT! When we got our photos from our photographer, there were filters applied that took much of the color out. Luckily because of Kim's suggestion, my lipstick looked great in person AND the photographs! I can't imagine what I would have looked like in the photos if I hadn't listened to her advice. Brides - book KLM Artistry. You won't be disappointed!!

The first time was a "trial" for her wedding day and Kim coordinated it so she could wear her "trial" with a "twist" so as not to spoil the surprise to my nephew's wedding. Kim came to my daughter in law's bridal suite on her wedding day. My daughter in law had changed her mind about her hair and Kim was flexible in coming up with a new plan and did her hair just the way she wanted. She goes the extra mile with a smile for her clients. My daughter also had her hair done for her brother's wedding and was very pleased also. Our hair and make up lasted the night through the lively reception! Choose her, you won't be sorry!

I am so glad I did. Kim was by my side all day make sure I looked beautiful. She was running around helping my bridal party, family and friends. She was so easy to work with and has a great personality and is very "go with the flow," which is a must for wedding day! She helped so much during our photos after the ceremony, fixing my dress, bringing me water so I was not dehydrated, reapplying lipgloss, etc. I literally could not imagine my day without Kim! She is the best and well worth the cost.

life. Kim made my skin look absolutely flawless. No one could tell!! And my photos were stunning. Kim was also very easy to be around and made everyone so comfortable. She felt like one of the girls helping us to get ready. She also did my makeup and hair for my engagement photos and they were perfect. The makeup felt light and stayed put throughout both the wedding and engagement photos! I never wear liquid foundation so I was nervous about having my makeup done. I also went to Kim with a very soecific idea for my hair for my engagement shoot. After seeing it done, I realized it was better as an idea. I hesitated when Kim asked me what I thought because it really was exactly what I wanted and she immediately whipped into action. "Nope," she said and made a suggestion and a few changes and it was perfect. I told her she didn't have to make any changes, but she knew it wasn't right and cared enough to make sure I loved it. I really appreciated that she took that extra time to make sure I felt perfect. She really is who you'd hope to have with you on the day you want to look your most beautiful. Also, my mom and I had both given Kim a check for my mom's hair and makeup without realizing it, and Kim contacted us to let us know. We really wouldn't have known if Kim hadn't drawn our attention to it. I think that speaks volumes about her character. I truly could not be happier with KLM Artistry.

She is an extremely talented stylist, but what blew me away even more was her meticulous nature. Like a true artist, she takes a moment to step back and examine her work before proceeding to the next step. She also took pictures and drew a quick sketch of the hairstyle to make sure she could create the same look on my wedding day. Not only does she strive for perfection-she is also the sweetest person ever! Kim has such a kind, friendly personality! She is extremely easy to work with and flexible too! Everything went exactly as planned with Kim-working with her was an absolute pleasure! All of the girls loved their wedding day hair and I did too! You should definitely book with her :)

and they turned out just beautiful. Honestly people were saying I looked like a model but it's just because Kim is so good at her craft. I opted for airbrush and I'm glad I did! Although it took longer to take off, it stayed in place through tears and sweat. When we got back to the hotel after the wedding not one thing was out of place and my makeup (other than my lipstick which is always the first to go) was absolutely flawless. And as if that doesn't convince you, Kim herself is just a wonderful person and so easy to talk to and work with. You can tell immediately she is a kind and warm person. I one-hundred and ten percent recommend KLM!!!

She was also ready with straws so I wouldn't ruin my lipstick, she sprayed down fly-aways, powdered down shine, and even fixed and fluffed my skirt/train during our photos! She was able to flawlessly cover my tattoo and she even did my husband's ponytail and lightly powdered his face, and helped my maid of honor bustle my dress before the reception. I cannot express how grateful I am for all of her help- I was actually really sad to see her go when I walked into the reception! She was amazing and worth so much more than she charges!!

It was the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning process. She went above and beyond to not only make sure my hair and makeup and dress were perfect, but she also kept us all calm, helped out where help was needed, assisted the wedding venue managers when needed, assisted the photographers when needed, and took a lot of pressure off everyone involved. This woman really knows her stuff! I would tell anyone to hire her - not just someone like her, I would tell them to hire her specifically. She's awesome. And we all looked fabulous! She gave me a list of all the recommended cosmetics and colors before our get-together. When I arrived with my purchased items, she then taught me how to apply everything from foundation to artificial lashes! So much better than having a cosmetic counter make-over, because the colors and products were right for my skin and coloration AND without the pushy sales pitch! Having Kim share her expertise was invaluable!

Kim sent me a new invoice and timeline for the day of without my mom's service on it. No charge for the cancellation. The day of the wedding, Kim came to our hotel room to get us all ready. There was only myself, two bridesmaids, and a flower girl. She was so calming and reassuring. She was as excited about the day as I was! She encouraged me to cry and not to worry about the makeup. It felt as though she was a part of the wedding party. After we were ready to go, she met us at Stonebridge Manor for the ceremony and reception. She arrived before us and had everything already set up in the bridal suite for touch ups before I even stepped in the room. She was quick to do finishing touches on all of our hair and make up. Up to this point, everything that Kim had done was what I expected. When we started with the pictures is when I was really amazed. I mentioned to Kim that I knew I would cry when I saw my groom during the first look. We had chosen to share traditional vows in front of our guests and personally written vows privately during our first look. Kim told me not to worry and even showed me how to hide a tissue in my bouquet. Kim was there all through pictures, holding my bouquet when needed, fixing my makeup and hair when needed, fixing my dress when needed, holding a drink and food for me, etc. I was simply amazed by the experience! I never expected anywhere near the level of service I got from Kim. I do not think I have enough words to describe how grateful I was/am for all she did that day. I have received many compliments about Kim from other members of my family and bridal party. Everyone was blown away. I plan on using her services every time we have family photos, Christmas card photos, etc. Thank you, Kim!

(Though Kim was quick to find me in a quiet moment with the lipstick to return it to it's former glory) TL;DR: Kim is a wonderful vendor and I highly recommend that you consider her for both hair and makeup for your wedding. She is skilled, professional, and has a wonderfully upbeat personality well suited for taking care of a bride on her special day.

I felt absolutely beautiful and my wedding pictures turned out great! My photographer didn't have to do much touching up on the photos. I would recommend KLM Artistry in a heartbeat. I went for the "perfect airbrush" look and I'm really glad that I did. Hair stayed in place all day and even though my wedding was in 114 F weather, hair and make up stayed in place until the reception was over. :)

I took her up on her offer and she took down the beautiful hair style she had just spent an hour creating, re-curled my hair and put it in a cute pony tail. It was a very kind gesture and solidified my decision to go with KLM Artistry. Kim did not let me down on the day of my wedding. There were 9 of us getting our hair and makeup done (bride, mother of bride, and 7 bridesmaids) so she had a 2nd hair/makeup artist help out. My wedding started at 2 pm so it was an early morning. Kim and Jessie showed up on time (6 am) and set everything up ahead of schedule. One bridesmaid that was schedule with Jessie wanted a waterfall braid, however, Kim is the master of braids. Kim and Jessie were able to rearrange the schedule without missing a beat or getting behind on time. I originally wanted a low side bun but the day off, Kim suggested doing the same bun but in the back. I trusted Kim's opinion and did the low bun in the back. I absolutely LOVED it and thought it looked much better than when the bun was on the side. And the airbrush makeup... WOW! All I can say is that I have never felt more beautiful in my life. My mom and bridesmaids also all looked stunning! Kim was by my side for my solo photos making sure that my front loose curl was laying beautifully against my face, that my necklace wasn't crooked, that my veil was placed perfectly, that my lip color never faded...She basically made me look flawless for photos that I will cherish forever. There are no words to describe my appreciation for everything Kim and Jessie did. They played a big part in making my special day perfect. KLM Artistry was beyond amazing and exceeded all of my expectations. Working with Kim and Jessie was a great experience and if I could re-live the morning of my wedding, I would not change a thing!

Kim paid close attention to every single detail if my necklace was crooked she fixed it. I purchased the bridal package and it was worth every penny and so much more I don't know what I would have don't without Kim.
