Kloeckner did our wedding flowers and they were so beautiful! It was a real pleasure to work with Mark and his team throughout the process. Mark came all the way up from Chicago to the north shore suburbs to do the walk through of our venue, gather my ideas for the look/color palette and designed the arrangements and bouquets. He mocked up a beautiful proposal and a month or so before the wedding we got to go to the shop and see a preview of the arrangement and he helped us curate the kinds of flowers, color palette and the table scape. The price was very fair and we were so happy with how everything turned out! When the flowers arrived on the wedding day, they looked so lush and fresh and we got so many compliments! Thank you for making our wedding vision come to life, mark and the Kloeckner team!
I worked with Mark and Pam from Kloeckner Preferred Flowers for my wedding, and they did phenomenal work. I was coming in from out of town for my wedding so we did everything remotely by phone and email-- they were kind, responsive, efficient through the whole process, and made my vision a reality. The ceremony backdrop, centerpieces, and my bouquet were all gorgeous, the colors and floral designs were just as we discussed, and I couldn't have been happier.
They did an excellent job on the flowers for my wedding. They arrived on time and in great condition. The team put together a beautifully detailed proposal that fit my budget, and the final product was exactly what I ordered. I even requested a flower that is fairly rare and wilts easily, so I was a little nervous, however they ended up looking perfect! Thank you for making this a seamless process.

Wow, we feel so lucky we worked with Kloeckner. They helped bring our unique floral and design vision to life. As we were planning our Chicago wedding while living in New York, we were unable to do our preview of our table floral arrangements in person. The first 'draft' pictures we received weren't exactly what we were looking for, but Pam (our partner at Kloeckner) carefully listened to our feedback and put everything into action for the day of. When I saw the bridal party bouquets delivered, I saw that they had hit everything out of the park. Everything was as discussed and desired. The flowers were healthy and full and vibrant. And when we walked into the ballroom that hosted our ceremony, I truly gasped. The arrangements on the floor and adorning our custom chuppah were exactly what we wanted. A note on our custom chuppah...my husband and I designed and built a DIY chuppah involving over 100 books that would later become the wedding favors for our guests. This involved our dropping off a bunch of elements (including all of the books) at Kloeckner a week in advance and then trusting them to deliver on the set-up plan that we had discussed only over the phone and briefly in person. Reuben, in charge of set-up day of, brought our vision perfectly to life. He set up the chuppah exactly as discussed, plus added flowers in our exact color palette. He also oversaw the disassembly during a quick room flip. Seeing our design vision come to life was such a highlight for us, and we feel so grateful that Kloeckner helped everything come together. I am even pressing/preserving my bridal bouquet so I can remember the blooms in the years to come. Thank you!
I am currently in the last couple of months of wedding planning. I had spoken with Mark on the phone and he had described a long list of their services. After this initial phone call, they were very slow to respond. When they finally did, they provided a professional look book which I appreciated. I provided comments and requests back within 24 hours. They took over a week and a half to get back to me upon which they said they could not complete my suggestions and that they had booked up my date. I was never given an opportunity to provide a deposit and they were not willing to have a discussion about my wishes. I would not waste your time.
We used them for our wedding and the flowers turned out great! Exactly as envisioned and high quality.
Our flowers were perfection!!! Kloeckner Preferred Flowers did a really incredible job. They had no problem working with our budget & were very well priced. They also were very flexible and let us return their equipment a few days later which was so helpful to us. We wanted very bright, summery colors for our wedding, they listened to exactly what we asked for and more. They also added in flowers for our cake, (which were stunning, I didn't even think about having, and looked beautiful for pictures) and flowers for our bars and bathrooms which added extra splashes of color. And Thank you to Pam for making it all happen!
Pam & the Kloeckner team gave us the florals of our dreams!! The planning process was super smooth and Pam completely grasped our vision. And the fact that they provided us a full example of what our centerpieces would look like was SO remarkable and helped bring everything to life. We were so lucky to have found Kloeckner through our venue’s preferred vendor list. Kloeckner was easy to work with, super flexible, and reasonably priced. I also know literally nothing about flowers and they took a few inspiration photos I shared and nailed it. Kloeckner did an amazing job with turning our wedding vision into a reality. The bouquets were so beautiful along with my floral headpiece. They also made a special matching floral headpiece for our dog and she looked so cute in it! The archway was gorgeous and they understood our vision really well. I loved the geometric table pieces and they also added the flowers to the wedding cake. They are very reasonably priced and make it much more affordable to have a beautiful wedding. I highly recommend them!
Provided florals for our wedding at Cafe Brauer. They were absolutely beauitful and the team was very attentative to our requests. Pricing options were also much better with Kloechkner than other vendors approved for our venue.

Kloeckner was great! They took the inspiration photos that I sent and really listened to exactly what I was looking for. Our flowers and décor turned out exactly the way we wanted. We wanted fairly simple flowers and much more focus on the candle-light. And when I asked to re-use some of the décor from the ceremony for the reception in order to stay within my budget, they were very flexible and willing to do as I wanted. Everything went very smoothly the day of, including the bouquet and boutonniere drop-offs. I would highly recommend!
Kloeckner Preferred Flowers were kind, helpful, and easy to work with. I am so glad we booked them for our wedding. At our first meeting I shared my vision with them and some inspo photos. In return they sent an amazing proposal complete with descriptions and pictures so that I could visualize the day. They even gave us 3 free gifts, flowers for the cake, the bar and the powder room. They go above and beyond for their clients and everything was really affordable I would suggest them to any engaged couple.

Kloeckners was the florist for our May 2022 wedding at Cafe Brauer in Chicago and their work was absolutely impeccable. Kloeckners was on our venue's preferred vendor list and they were by far the least expensive of those I contacted. I was hesitant at first because Kloeckners does not have as polished and modern a presence on social media as other florists--do not let that deter you. They created arrangements that matched my Pinterest vision board, capturing the earthy color scheme and vibe I was going for. Mark and Pam were a joy to work with. Thanks, Kloeckners, for helping make our wedding day so special.

Mark and the Kloeckner team were such a great choice for our July 2021 wedding at Cafe Brauer. We found Kloeckner from Cafe Brauer's list of allowed floral vendors, and our venue contact suggested we contact them when we asked for her recommendation for an affordable, high quality option. We met at the Kloeckner shop twice, once before our initial booking way back in 2019 and then again after two postponements for a final discussion a few weeks before our wedding. Both times, Mark was so warm and welcoming, really knows his stuff, and worked so hard to really understand our vision and make sure everything was perfect. I contacted a few of the other preferred vendors and I'm confident that Kloeckner's prices were the most competitive, and I appreciated that they didn't have a minimum like many other companies. The flowers at our wedding turned our absolutely beautiful. The candles lining the window sills were one of my favorite parts and done by Kloeckner as well. The only thing I will say is that if you are looking for an all inclusive design company to manage intensive wedding design (like lighting, drapery, dance floors, champagne walls, neon signage etc), Kloeckner may not be the right choice as their specialty is really in the flowers themselves. But if you are looking for high quality, beautiful florals, wonderful service, reasonable prices, and supporting a Chicago family business, Kloeckner is the perfect choice! We would recommend them to anyone.
COVID wedding rescheduled from June 2020 to April 2021 and ultimately relocated outside of Chicago. Mark Weber is a WONDERFUL human being. I genuinely hope to host an anniversary event in Chicago once this darned pandemic is over and I will 100% use Kloeckner for flowers/greenery. Mark is kind, empathetic, listens to your vision, creates a detailed and beautiful proposal for you - I am sad that I do not actually get to see the beautiful arrangements he planned for my wedding. We were going to wed at Cafe Brauer and I contacted several of the florists on the approved vendor list and Mark was the only one who responded - literally later the same day and he apologized for the delay! He is attentive and very responsive and professional. The prices seem much more affordable than others as well. This pandemic wedding rescheduling nightmare is finally almost over for me, but vendors like Kloeckner and people like Mark truly are a bright light in what has been a dark year. Highly recommend!!

Highly recommend Kloeckner Flowers! They did the flowers at my sister-in-laws wedding, so it was an easy choice of where to go. The staff is super friendly and easily makes adjustments to the floral plan. The flowers are gorgeous displays and made for a beautiful reception.
We worked with Mark Weber (owner) for our wedding last month at the Harold Washington Library. He was such a joy to work with and did an amazing job in bringing our wedding vision to life! He considered our budget along the way and it was so easy to communicate with him. The flower arrangements and candles looked so beautiful, it was such a dream. He put together a very tasteful chuppah as well and added decor here and there as needed. I highly recommend hiring Kloeckner Preferred Flowers for your floral needs!!
Highly recommend Kloeckner! Mark did a great job and was very easy to work with. In our meetings with Mark, he was helpful in answering our questions, without being pushy, which we really appreciated. When we met with him to see a mock-up of the day-of flowers/candles, we literally did not have anything to change. He also helped us find some basic uplighting, which was very nice of him and above and beyond what we expected. Again, highly recommend!!
Kloeckner's did such a wonderful job for our May 2019 wedding! We requested a wood arbor covered in flowers for the ceremony and they did a fantastic job! They supplied, built, and removed the arbor-- which saved us the hassle on the big day. The flowers were stunning! They were able to really execute the look we were going for. Also, the shop is very organized, modern, and adorable! Highly recommend!
Loved the flowers for our wedding in September. The centerpiece arrangements were of varying heights and visually stunning and the bouquets were beautiful and held up well to a full day of picture taking! I really appreciated that he was willing to adjust some things to our budget. We chose to splurge on a couple "wow" pieces that could be used for ceremony and reception, while scaling down a bit on centerpieces. I recommend looking through their regular website at flowers you can order to get a rough idea of what they can do for a centerpiece at different price points. I also wanted guests to be able to take the centerpieces home, without having to buy expensive vases, so Mark was willing to work with vases I gathered up on my own. I loved how every table was a little different, but overall a gorgeously cohesive design.
We also had some candles in our package, which were totally worth it! My only minor complaint was that some of the ledge candles were not spread out like I requested. I had specific written instructions about how many candles I wanted in each window, but they ended up clustered together, leaving some areas with too many candles and others without candles. When you're paying per candle, you need to be specific, and I was disappointed that they were not quite where I wanted, but I'm sure no one else noticed and the overall look was still beautiful.
We were impressed with Mark instantly and knew we were going to book with him for our September 2016 wedding before we even saw the quote. We loved that Kloeckner is a family owned business and that he seemed to have a lot of knowledge about flowers and overall wedding décor. I literally teared up with joy at our flower showing (their version of a tasting) and was even more blown away when I saw our décor and flowers on the day of the wedding. They don’t nickel and dime you like a few other vendors seemed to do and included a few elements (such a bathroom blooms) as complimentary. Everything was seamless and I would highly recommend Mark/Kloeckner Preferred Flowers for your wedding!
Our flowers were so beautiful, thank you to Kloeckner Preferred Flowers! Mark Weber and his team did a wonderful job! I got so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful they were! They were also very accommodating with dropping of our bridal party flowers early in the day, then arriving at the venue to set up for both the ceremony then again for the reception and coming back to pick up everything at the end of the night. They were very easy to work with! Also, I really appreciated my second meeting with Mark about a month before my wedding to view some samples and make some slight changes. Overall fantastic job and I would highly recommend them to any bride and groom!
We heard about Kloeckner through a friend who used them for their wedding. My first impression when I went to meet Mark there was that the location looks pretty sketchy from the outside. After meeting with Mark, however, I knew that we needed to go with him. I told him that my theme was peacock feathers and he took my idea and not only told me about what flowers we could use, but showed me a few samples around the shop. Besides a small snafu of forgetting to call and remind him about our meeting for the mock-up, Mark was very on top of everything. When he forgot our meeting, he even gave us a free bouquet with our flowers at the mock-up meeting.
The bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages were beautiful and look GREAT in our photos. And the centerpieces were perfect! He even added extra peacock feathers at the last minute for the extra touch that I wanted. Overall, Ryan and I are so glad that we went with Kloeckner!
Kloeckner flowers was a wonderful vendor to work with. Mark really listened to all of my ideas about the flowers, and executed them beautifully! They are the only florist I interviewed that does a "flower trial" so you can see the centerpieces prior to the event. The only hiccup was that they forgot my mother's lace for my bouquet, but they met us at the church and fixed it right before I walked down the aisle! I highly recommend them!
The only vendor that fell within my original budget, that alone was reason enough to like them! But they made the day just that much more beautiful with bringing my vision to life!

Chicago weddings can be very expensive, Kloeckner's was the exception. Mark and Pam in the office were fantastic to work with and they are so talented. We had a meeting a few weeks before the wedding where we discussed style and preferences. I was so impressed on our wedding day, Mark captured our requests perfectly. We had so many compliments on our centerpieces, they were abundant and unique. I have an uncle who is a florist and was worried he would be critical of our choices. He was impressed with the flowers, that’s a huge compliment! I will use Kloeckner’s in the future for other reasons!
Kloeckner was a florist I found reviewing my site vendor materials. I highly recommend them for weddings. Mark and Pam were great to work with, they answered my emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
When I met with Mark to discuss the actual arrangements he was very attentive, listened to my opinions and ideas, and when I was uncertain offered me several options. He also didn't push when I said I didn't want something.
I ended up with a gorgeous bouquet and the decorative flowers at the venue were spectacular and really helped to tie everything together. Since it was a winter wedding they even provided bags for my and the bridemaids' bouquets so we could get them to the venue from our hotel and they wouldn't be exposed to the cold too much. Forethought!

I came in with big visions and he made them all come to life and on a budget!
I was disappointed after meeting with a couple other florists and they came back with extremely high proposals. We had a decent budget but could not bring ourselves to spend a ridiculous amount on flowers that die the next day. When we met with Mark he was great at walking me through the whole day and what we need and don't need. For example, he suggested using the bouquets for the head table, when other florists were pushing for full arrangements that really just block the bride and groom.
We pretty much decided to go with them instantaneously and for the next 9 months Mark or someone at Kloeckner was always quick to answer my questions. Mark always listened closely to my vision and made excellent suggestions based on other components of our wedding! His black candlesticks worked perfectly for our tall centerpieces :)
He pays close attention to detail and it was obvious as soon as you entered Cafe Brauer. He did candlelights around the ledges of the reception hall that were stunning and made the room sparkle. He truly has a great gift of both creativity and really listening to what the bride wants. Kloeckner nailed every aspect of my vision and then some! We have received SEVERAL compliments- many of which were that it was the most beautiful room they've ever seen.

Mark and his team at Kloeckner's were a GREAT find!! They really listened to the vision and were able to use flowers and decor to make it happen. They were so flexible with changing things up until the wedding and it was nice to be able to tweak the proposals as needed. They worked within our budget and when the wedding day came, the flowers were absolutely breathtaking! I wish they could have lasted forever!

Mark was great to work with. Our flowers turned out really really well - I felt like we got so much for our money and the service they offer is unbelievable!
I chose Kloeckner as my florist because I liked the pictures I saw, our consultant (Mark) was very nice, and they were extremely willing to work with us on price. (I had also gotten a proposal from Scarlet Petal, but they had a minimum that was way above what I wanted my maximum to be, and Kloeckner was willing to do pretty much the same design within my budget.)
After our first meeting with Mark, where I told him what my vision was, I emailed him a few changes. The changes in quantity were fine, but the changes in design were not made. Thankfully the design changes were little things, but I was still disappointed.
When the bouquets were brought to our hotel, I almost cried. They featured huge lilies, after I had told Mark (from the beginning) that I didn't want any lilies or any big flowers. In the scope of what could have gone wrong, it really wasn't bad. And by the end of the wedding, I had actually grown to like the bouquets. But I still wish that I had asked for a sample photo prior to the wedding.
The welcome arrangement was a little sparser than I had imagined it, and kinda dry-looking. But not bad. The mothers' corsages were made of orchids, which started falling apart even before we got to the ceremony. I don't know if that could have been helped. The bouquets lasted all night and into the next day, no problem.
The centerpieces were absolutely perfect.
In general, I think Kloeckner is a good company. Just make sure that you know what you want and are very specific about it from the beginning. Make sure every detail, including things you think of after the initial meeting, are included in your proposal/contract.
I can't say enought about how happy I was with how the floral turned out. Mark and his team understood exactly the look I was going for. I wanted to see blooms everywhere. I didn't want just rocks and glass. All of the center pieces looked perfect and really fit the venue. And they made the church look even more wonderful. I hope to work with them again someday.
People did not stop gushing about how beautiful and unique our flowers were!!!
