Kendra and her team did a fantastic job for me and my bridesmaids! I am not someone who likes a lot of makeup and usually find professional makeup to be too cakey/too much for me. When Kendra did my makeup, I was blown away. I have NEVER liked makeup so much in my life - I loved her work!! And Jackie of course did an amazing job on hair as well! Kendra and her team were also quick and communicative, professional, and great to work with. I had 10 bridesmaids and I really didn't want an early start - we were able to start around 8:30am and were completely on time for the rest of the day. Kendra was also able to navigate personal/family issues with ease, which was very impressive and helpful. Thank you so much for everything, Kendra and team!

Kendra is amazing, period, hands down. I picked her because she uses only clean products which is high priority for me. But her talent is exceptional. We booked her a year before our wedding and thru the whole year, I also learned a ton of information about different brands and their quality. I restocked my whole make up and skincare caddies with all clean products. She answered my questions and gave me clean product swaps, even way before our wedding. But then she did my hair/makeup and my bridesmaid's hair/ makeup and I felt incredible all day and night. I loved her and recommend her 100% all day everyday.

Kendra is the best makeup artist out there. She was part of our vendor team for my wedding and supported me for my engagement photos and wedding (for 7 total people). She is extremely professional, creative, and has the greatest eye for what makeup looks great on everybody. Kendra uses all clean makeup and is extremely knowledgeable. She is the absolute best at enhancing your natural look and working with all different types of skin tones, eye shapes, etc. I had a history of not getting the best makeup professionally since I have a monolid, but Kendra absolutely hit it out of the park for me, my bridesmaids, mother, and now mother-in-law. Finally, Kendra is the greatest and brightest energy to be around. She kept us laughing and made the entire wedding morning seamless and fun. I am incredibly lucky that she was part of our vendor team and am hoping to work with her for any makeup needs in the future. I highly recommend Kendra as a makeup artist!

Kendra made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. It was important to me that the product was clean as I am very sensitive to conventional products. I was also a bit concerned that our 6 am appointment would cause for my makeup to not last through the entire evening, but it is evident that Kendra knows what she is doing because my makeup last into the wee hours of the night. She was professional, she is talented and just an absolute treat to work with.

I really enjoyed working with Kendra. I worked with her for both hair and makeup (trial and for the wedding). She was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. She took pictures of the trial and used that to recreate the same look for the wedding. Talk about having a Glam squad! Kendra and her team were amazing! I had 10 people get their hair/make up done for my wedding and Kendra and her team rocked it. Kendra made sure to make my hair and make up PERFECT to make the vision of my look come to life. She was so sweet and made minor adjustments as requested. Also ALL of my bridesmaids are naturally gorgeous but they were still able to take them to another level of beauty that matched their dresses and the colors. Kendra was a total delight to work with! She and her assistant Lisa did hair and makeup for me and my four bridesmaids and made the whole experience totally relaxing and fun. None of us are hair or makeup experts by any means so I was incredibly grateful to have Kendra's expertise and knowledge. She also applied lashes to my grandmother at the last minute after my grandmother saw our lashes and wanted some for herself :) I would recommend her to anyone looking for an incredibly talented stylist.

I worked with Michelle from KLS Makeup Artistry and I could not have been happier with my decision. I am very particular on how I like my makeup, not overdone but still glamorous. Michelle was an absolute gem to work with, I felt like a princess and my girls looked stunning! To make things even better, she and her assistant finished all 10 of us women (all with hair and makeup) with half an hour to spare, which is unheard of from the weddings I have been in. I would not hesitate to book with her again!

Oh my, where do I even BEGIN with how much I adore Kendra?! I booked Kendra for my September wedding for myself, 4 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 1 flower girl. Start to finish Kendra (and her assistant Jackie) were efficient and fun. They made every single one of us look incredible ALL night. They did an incredible job highlighting each persons unique features and the photos from the day speak for themselves. I couldn't believe it when I got back to the hotel after our wedding and somehow my hair STILL looked incredible. OMG, Kendra! She is absolutely the best hair and makeup gal I have ever met. I’m extremely hard on myself and how I look (due to being a little chubby) but she made me feel like I was the most beautiful woman in the world on my wedding day. She’s so talented and so sweet! Michelle did an absolutely amazing job on my makeup and hair for the wedding day. She was able to take my inspiration pictures and make it reality. She is friendly and an absolute dear to work with. I am rating this 4 stars instead of five because of the assistant that was brought along. She did the makeup for most of my bridal party and the moms, and unfortunately, everyone had to fix their makeup. It was either not blended or just messy.

Kendra is amazing! She seriously felt like she was part of the bridal party, we had such a great time hanging out with her the morning of my wedding. She did my hair and makeup, as well as one of my bridesmaids, and my mothers'. I wanted something really glam looking and she definitely delivered! I got so many compliments all day. My mom and bridesmaid are also really picky and historically difficult when it comes to getting their hair and makeup done, but they both loved their hair and makeup too! I cannot recommend Kendra enough! Her work is absolutely beautiful. She did my makeup for my engagement photos and both my hair and makeup for my wedding. As someone with curly hair, I was a little nervous having someone do my hair for my wedding, but she did a wonderful job. It looked flowy and natural but was super stable and not a single hair was out of place by the end of the night. Also, the makeup never felt heavy and lasted wonderfully through heat and a serious dance party. And to top it all off, she's a blast to have around!

Kendra and Jackie were AMAZING. They did bridal hair & makeup as well as hair and makeup for bridesmaids and moms. Kendra did such a personalized and natural makeup look for each of the girls. Everyone looked like the best versions of themselves without looking overdone. And Jackie did an amazing job with the girls hair. I had each of the girls hair styled differently and Jackie knew exactly what I meant when I explained each look to her. Kendra and Jackie are perfect and I would recommend them to anyone no matter the look you are going for. They can do everything from minimalist to glam.

I was so happy with Kendra! She’s an amazing person, very talented, fun, easy and efficient to work with. She did my mother and aunt's makeup and hair for the wedding and they looked absolutely gorgeous. Kendra was very attentive to how I wanted to look and feel. In the end the overall look came out better than I imagined. She did an amazing job of making me look lovely without taking away who I was. When I was planning my wedding, I was entirely overwhelmed by the sheer number of options, and constantly terrified I was going to make the wrong decision. I picked Kendra because her portfolio was beautiful and based on the sweet things people said in their reviews, but I still worried. I can tell you, picking Kendra will be one of the best decisions you make. I assure you that you and your girls will be absolutely stunning, and she's the perfect addition to the day. She's calm in the chaos, but also hilarious and helps lighten the mood when it's stressful. We had a total of 12 women including bridesmaids, moms, and godmothers... a huge group but Kendra and her assistant for the day, Jackie, managed all of us perfectly. I had incredibly high expectations, and even with that, I've never felt more beautiful. Forever grateful, and busy passing on her information to all the brides I know.

I was so blown away by Kendra and at a complete loss for words that it's taken me +3 months to actually write this long overdue, inadequately effusive, raving review. And finally, during the day of the event Kendra took last minute changes in stride, never casting judgement or doubt in my call and empowering me to the absolute end. Honestly, my hour with Kendra is a memory I'll cherish and one that I point to as grounding me enough to enjoy everything else that day. If you're looking for a talented makeup artist who'll get it done, you'll find many capable folks in the area. But if you're looking for a genuinely one-of-a-kind addition to your event, Kendra is the one for you.

Kendra and Jackie are absolutely wonderful! Planning our wedding from Australia and not being from the Seattle area, the only things I could rely on were reviews from different wedding websites to choose an artist. Hair and makeup were the most challenging and risky vendors to find in my opinion, because I am a bit picky with what I like and feel "myself" and comfortable with, especially on a huge and important day. I did my trial only a few weeks before the wedding, due to travels back to the states from Australia, but Kendra was very accommodating. I went into the trial not really knowing what I wanted, and I didn't communicate the best I could have. I was so pleased with my makeup and any changes I asked for my hair, Kendra made happily. It was also a plus to know Kendra has worked for Mac for years and uses mainly Mac products (my favorite brand and go-to). On the day of the wedding, we changed my curls a few different times - Kendra was extremely patient with me, as it was my miscommunication that caused this. She is so patient and kind! Kendra and Jackie were extremely timely in getting us all ready. Jackie did hair for my four bridesmaids, my mother, and my groom's mother. Kendra did my hair, and everyone's makeup. All the girls were ecstatic with how their hair and makeup turned out! My photographer was absolutely thrilled when she saw our makeup - Kendra really knows what she's doing! I highly recommend KLS Makeup Artistry for any big events and especially your special wedding day!

A. Rock. Star. As the mother of a very anxious bride, the day she was going in for her make up trial was one of her most anxious days. She was afraid that she was going to be made up to look like someone she wasn't. Kendra's make up was flawless, and my daughter looked more beautiful than I had ever seen her. I will admit to being a makeup snob and a bride who wanted a full-glam smoky eye vs. the "just me but better" look - I prefer to do my own makeup but just could never master fake lashes so knew I needed to outsource in order to remain calm on the big day. All this to say, I knew I was going to be extremely picky so I did exhaustive research. Kendra was recommended by a friend and she was absolutely perfect. The second you meet Kendra you are instantly put at ease and it is abundantly clear that she is a master at her craft and truly cares about her clients. She is talented and professional while remaining completely relaxed and easy going throughout the entire process - from planning to execution. Working with her was a breeze and she was perfectly cooperative and responsive in the months leading up to my wedding. On the day-of she arrived ahead of schedule and was able to glam out my 5 bridesmaids and mother in record time. Absolutely everyone raved about her and she is the #1 vendor I recommend when anyone is looking for suggestions. Kendra's glowing reviews speak for themselves - any bride who has worked with her is sure to sing her praises. Kendra and her team are amazing. I booked them for both bridal hair and make up. My bridesmaids and I were in love with their work. They made us look stunningly beautiful without feeling like we had way too much make up on. Plus, the make up stayed on well the entire night. Kenda has HORRIFFIC customer service. When trying to book her for my engagement photo shoot I was told that "as of right now" she was free but she "may get booked with a last minute wedding." SERIOUSLY? A month before my shoot you can't guarantee that you will be available? That is honestly completely ridiculous and insulting. It's clear she wants to keep her options open and would cancel on you a week before if she got more money for a wedding vs. an engagement shoot. Just waiting on something better to come along... I wanted to use the same makeup artist for my shoot as my wedding, which I think all brides would like to do so you know that you like the way they style you, and it's not just a crap shoot on the day of! When I expressed to Kendra that I was concerned that she couldn't commit to my engagement shoot that was only a month away, and that it was important to be that I use the same makeup artist for my engagement shoot as my wedding so that I could feel comfortable at at-ease (which ALL BRIDES should!!), she got all high-and-mighty and declared that she "doesn't audition" and said "My brides base their trust in me through my work." Okay lady, well I haven't had you work on me before, so there's no way to do that. I would recommend all brides to steer clear, and to find an artist who will respect your time and commitment, and not add to increased stress during your wedding planning process, which Kendra definitely did. I'm sure I will have a lot of friends getting married in the next 5-10 years in the Bellevue and Seattle area, and you can bet none of them will be giving KLS a call.

Kendra did such an amazing job on my wedding hair and make up!! Kendra made me look and feel more beautiful than I have ever felt before! I live out of state and booked Kendra's services without having met her in person. She was very easy to get in touch with and answered all my questions. I had my hair and makeup trial 4 days before my wedding and it went perfectly! The makeup and hair looked just as good at the end of the night as when she first applied it. I was over the moon with Kendra for hair and makeup. She was worth every penny that I paid for myself, bridesmaids, mother and mother in law to have our hair and makeup done for my wedding and she did an excellent job with the makeup for my engagement photos as well. The bridal hair and makeup package includes a trial run and she was so helpful with helping me figure out the look I was going for. She took some of my inspiration pictures and ran with it. Once she was done, I only asked for one minor tweak of a color but otherwise it was absolute perfection. I had honestly never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day and felt totally comfortable with her. She's laid back and easy going and really helped keep everyone relaxed the morning of. She's definitely a professional and knows what she's doing. I couldn't recommend her more!!

Kendra was absolutely amazing. We did my trial about a month before my wedding and she helped me find a look that was perfect for my big day. I have ALOT of hair, so it was not an easy feat. On the actual wedding day, January 9, 2016, she was able to replicate the look but make it look absolutely perfect. Kendra brought her assistant Drina who did all of the makeup for my 6 bridesmaids and 2 mothers. Kendra and Drina were so much fun, our bridal party was a little crazy, so we all had a good time. Kendra did the hair for all of the bridesmaids and mothers and did such a great job, everyone was very pleased. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup the day of and it all stayed in tact all night, even with all my dancing and sweating. I would definitely recommend Kendra and her team for any wedding party.

I thought Kendra and Megan did a great job. They were super FAST and so fun to be around. I had 5 bridesmaids, 3 moms and 2 sisters all have their hair done before I went. So we had a packed day. I felt soft, natural, glamorous and the makeup didn't feel like it was caked on. Our pictures turned out great and my makeup stayed on into early in the AM as the party kept going.

Kendra has a great eye, she knows color, she gets your eye shape, she just gets it. She did an amazing job on everyone! Even a bridesmaid that initially didn't want her makeup done changed her mind after seeing Kendra's work. And her prices are more than fair in the market. She is worth every penny! And listen to her when she suggests lashes, so knows what she is talking about.

Seriously...look no further than Kendra!! She works wonders!!! and makes the whole process so much more fun and less stressful!!! Kendra is a true talent when it comes to hair and makeup. Her natural approach to makeup allows the true beauty of each girl to come out, without seeming over-done. She also keeps in mind photographs and does your makeup accordingly so that you will look great in every shot. Kendra and her partner were on time, bright and early in the morning and finished 8 total clients in four hours! We called my bridal suite the "zen-room". Kendra contributed to the happy atmosphere with her great sense of humor and sweet approach to each girl. The makeup photographed beautifully and lasted all day and night! She also did an amazing job on our hair. She used great products and it held up wonderfully. I don't have one negative thing to say. Kendra did hair and makeup for me, my mom, and five bridesmaids for my spring wedding. I couldn't have been happier! We did a trial run a few weeks before and she immediately understood the fresh, bright, effortless look I was after. She was super fun to work with, and made getting ready a great experience. She and her assistant were also quick - we were ahead of schedule getting ready and that made the rest of the day a breeze. I felt beautiful and my ladies looked drop dead gorgeous.
